Dr. Nicole Byer has been with North Billerica Smiles since its opening in 2019. Originally from New Hampshire and raised by parents who are health professionals, she knew she also wanted to join the healthcare field. She gravitated towards dentistry in order to have a direct and meaningful impact on patients oral and overall health.
Dr. Byer completed her undergraduate education at Tufts University in Medford, MA and then moved to Philadelphia, PA to attend dental school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She wanted to return to New England after school and pursued a General Practice Residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Through her education, she gained a wealth of experience in clinical dentistry as well as managing medically complex patients. She continues to pursue new knowledge and stays up to date on the ever-changing dental field through continuing education. Dr. Byer believes in providing quality and ethical dental care for her patients by always leading with compassion. Outside of the office, Dr. Byer enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and walking around Boston and in nature.
