As a dental specialist, Dr. Dersley is one of Marylands top experts in helping patients with major dental problems. He has helped his patients overcome such problems as: embarrassment with their teeth, severe dental anxiety, social problems due to not being able to eat a meal comfortably, and chronic dental pain due to unhealthy teeth.
Dr. Dersley believes that when you can smile with confidence, chew comfortably and have a healthy mouth, life is better. His focus is to provide you with a plan that will ensure comfortable care, minimal pain, and a confident and healthy smile for a lifetime.
A lifelong Terp and Maryland native, Dr. Chris Wolf graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Physiology and Neurobiology, followed by completing his dental degree at the University of Maryland Dental School. After dental school, Dr. Wolf worked in private practice for several years in Anne Arundel County, where he received rave reviews and praise by patients for his gentle touch and caring personality. He has served on the Board of Admission for the University of Maryland Dental School and volunteers his time with the Special Olympics and Mission of Mercy Dental Clinics.
Dr. Gabriel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond with a BS in biology and chemistry. He then stayed down in Richmond, VA and graduated dental school from Virginia Commonwealth University. Since then, Dr. Gabriel has been in private practice serving the Maryland and Washington, DC areas. He understands that everyone can be a little anxious at the dentist and does his best to make sure you are comfortable, confident, and relaxed.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Gabriel enjoys hiking with his dog Emme and cooking with his wife. During the summers, Dr. Gabriel loves to golf and tube or kayak the Gunpowder River in northern Maryland. Most recently Dr. Gabriel has joined the Annapolis Pickleball Club!
Dr. Mazhari completed her undergraduate studies in Neurophysiology at the University of Maryland, College Park and completed her Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences in Miami, Florida. Loving the warm weather, she chose to stay in Florida to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Since then, Dr. Mazhari has been practicing in Northern Virginia for several years and has recently moved back to Maryland to be closer to friends and family.
From the moment you meet Dr. Mazhari, you will notice her compassionate and calming demeanor. You will also notice her dedication to making sure you are at ease because she understands how scary going to the dentist can be. Her main goal is to make sure her patients are comfortable before, during, and after treatment and she is committed to providing quality one-on-one care.
Dr. Meraj completed a B.S. in Biology from Lafayette College and worked in research at Strong Memorial Hospital before getting her DDS at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 1998. She completed her General Practice Residency (GPR) at Staten Island University Hospital before starting private practice in Manhattan. During this time she completed the NYU-Brookdale Hospital maxi course in dental implants and has been placing implants since 2004.
She relocated to Maryland in 2003 and has been a Calvert County resident for almost 20 years. She is dedicated to making every patient's dental experience gentle and effortless. She invests a lot of time into understanding a patients lifestyle in order to better address their needs. It is her love of implant and cosmetic dentistry that motivates her to evolve with new dental technology.
Erika Kaine Bottalico, R.D.H. joined the team at North Beach Dental Center in February 2017. As a Calvert County native, one of Erikas greatest joys has been the ability to give back to the people in the community that helped raise her. A Queen Anne School (2003) and Allegany College of Maryland (2008) graduate, Erika credits her educational background in helping to formulate her high standard of care, both professionally and personally. With everyday advances in dentistry, Erika understands the importance of staying current with the latest dental hygiene discoveries, innovations and products that will best suit her patients needs and concerns. Over the years, shes received many compliments on her warm, fun personality combined with her gentle, yet thorough approach when treating patients. One of Erikas self-described specialties: helping put fearful patients at ease.
When not in the office, Erika enjoys spending time with her friends & family, travelling, visiting local wineries & restaurants, crafting and volunteering at her daughters school. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, Maryland Dental Hygienists Association, Calvert County Chamber of Commerce and National & Local Realtor associations. Erika currently resides in Prince Frederick, Maryland with her husband and daughter.

I was super nervous about some wisdom teeth extractions and Dr. Wolf genuinely took the time to ensure that my questions were answered, that my concerns were addressed, and most importantly respected each decision I made. Dr. Wolf is kind and made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout the whole process. The Dental Assistant, Ashley S., was also very kind, made me feel so comfortable, and reassured me that everything would be ok, and it was! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. I will definitely be coming back :)

I left a local dentist and decided to give North Beach Dental a try and I am glad I did! DR. SHEILA MAZHARI Is the best she is so thorough and make sure you are super comfortable before she does any work. I made sure before I left the office to get my children in with her ASAP because she's that great.

I am doing this review for my husband, Charles. There just aren't enough stars for the doctors and staff at North Beach Dental Care. I was already impressed with Drs. Dersley and Wolf, and skeptical about not seeing either one of them. Dr. Gabriel performed a root canal, cemented a post, and refit my bridge. I just couldn't be more satisfied with this practice.

Absolutely amazing place to go. I have severe dental anxiety and everyone was so kind and patient with me. A very detailed and thorough exam. This is the one place I feel safe with such a vulnerable exam, especially with Dr. Gabriel and hygienist Suzanne. Thank you all for being so understanding and making me feel safe!

I called this morning to get an appointment for an emergency. They didn't have anything available today so they gave me tomorrow at 7am. The receptionist just called me back and told me they have an opening today at another location. I appreciate them looking out for me and getting me in quick.

Rude and unprofessional. Hung up on me 3 times. I get that you're busy but let me know or put me on hold. Don't just hang up on me. Find a dental practice that cares. Not this awful place.

1st let me start with the office space is beautiful! This was my 1st visit here. I am a person that has a fear of the dentist office and because of that I don't frequent as I should. Im also somewhat embarrassed. This office is really the best dentist I've ever been to. The entire staff is so welcoming from the initial phone call, upon arrival all the way through scheduling my next visit. Erica the hygienist, the xray tech and Dr Azarri was so kind and gentle with absolutely no judgment. I cant express enough how every point of contact was a positive experience. They took care of everything with insurance and scheduling as well as being very patient and knowledgeable . They took time to explain everything they did, made sure i was ok through the process and answered any questions I had. I loved the whole approach of being proactive oppose to reactive! I'm so happy I found a place I can come and be comfortable which will help me stay on top of my dental needs . Thank you all for making this such a positive experience! ~Andrea

Just a quick visit to have a broken tooth filed down, but honestly one of the best dental office experiences I've ever had. Dr. Murphy and Zoe were so professional and effective, never once was I nervous about what they were going to do; So friendly and welcoming. I look forward to my next visit.

I had a great visit with Dr. Mazhari. She explained everything in detail and actually listened to my concerns. I have had some awful previous dental experiences and was quite nervous to be seen. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel right at home and all of the assistants are very professional and personable. Glad to finally have an enjoyable dental experience.

I had to have some rather extensive work done to my teeth ( specifically replacing and adding several veneers ) . To say that the very idea of having this much work done, like it is for so many , was a rather anxiety inducing idea . To my surprise , As soon as I walked through the doors my anxieties slowly dissipated. Furthermore, upon consulting with Dr. Wolf and his team , I felt completely confident and at ease. I was grateful for the continual contact that the staff kept with me throughout the process (check-ins , updates ext) . All in all I was beyond happy and satisfied with the work completed . To say that I was thankful for both the pleasant experience , and even more so my renewed sense of self confidence would be an understatement !

I'm typically not a fan of doing reviews or dental offices for that matter. However, when I get exceptional service and have an exceptional experience, I have to leave a comment. This dental office was the cleanest most professional office I have visited in the last 15 to 20 years! Hands-down, one of the most calming atmospheres with and a staff with unmatched efficiency. I have resided in multiple states around the U.S. in the last 20 years with no less than 10 dental care providers and this one tops them ALL!! Thanks Dr. Wolf and staff!!

In a world where Dental care is a pain..... These people are SAINTS! From the reception desk personnel that send you emails and text reminders if you want them, to the painless cleanings.... And even fillings on my part... This staff and business are amazing. The place it's self is in a convenient location right off the main strip with a parking lot directly across from the office entrance. Office inside is pleasant to be in and looks nice and clean and welcoming and we'll take of. Hands down best dentistry I've ever been to.

My family had a great experience at North Beach Dental Care. I recently took both of my toddlers to the practice to establish care and they both had such a good experience. I was impressed with how the entire office staff ensured their experience was the best it could be as many children can be fearful of the dentist. I'm would suggest this practice to others that are looking for a great local option for dental care.

I had a poor experience at Tidewater Dental and contacted North Beach Dental Care first thing the next morning. They were incredibly understanding and friendly and got me in for a second opinion, helped me get the medicine I needed and scheduled me for the procedure I needed the next morning. I've been in excruciating pain for days and they were just wonderful to me. Needless to say, I'll be following up all future dental work here.
