Hi, I am Dr. Sparkle Pompey. I was born and raised here in Aiken, SC. I have lived in Aiken all my life. I receivedmy B.S. degree in college from USC Columbia and my Doctorate in Dental Medicinefrom MUSC in Charleston. Ive always enjoyed seeing people happy ever since I was a little girl. It was the reason I went into the dental field to begin with. My goal is to help give a people a reason to smile. The person who keeps a smile on my face is my wonderful husband, David. Our children are 2 huskies in which we share custody with my brother. My stress relievers are staying active in my church, dance, reading, traveling and watching the Gamecocks and 49er football. Hello. I am Dr. D.G. Taylor. I was born and raised right here in Aiken, SC. Aiken is my home and I couldnt think of a better place to live. I have been serving the community for over 30 years in the dental field. It all started when I graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston back in 19.. (Well leave that year alone), when I graduated dental school. I love helping people and bringing a smile to their face; but my first love is my son, Michael. On the weekends youll catch me somewhere near football, either at a Carolina Gamecock Game or watching NFL on television. I love being surrounded by friends, family, and a whole lot of smiles. Come by our office, I would love to bring a smile toyour face.

Why does this place charge $5 for throw away mask? When mask have been lifted and you're in someone's mouth anyway?!? I would like whoever runs and owns this place to get it together it's ridiculous! Wasted gas and time when my kids didn't even get seen. Also the nurses have terrible attitudes and are rough with kids teeth. Wouldn't recommend at all for kids.

I have always had a great experience with them from when I first started going a few years back. EVERYONE has been professional from the front door to the dentist. This place came highly recommended and I recommend it also. Dr. Pompey is great and knowledgeable. I can appreciate someone who gives me an indepth explanation when I ask a question vs a quick and simple response.

Great experience. The dentist and the other staff are patient and kind. My child had to get a filling and was very nervous. They explained step by step what was going on. Will definitely be returning to North Aiken Dental for routine cleanings. Thanks y'all.

I have been going to Dr.Pompey for years. Naturally I don't nt like going to the dentist, but Dr. Pompey and her staff make it the experience so pleasant every time . They truly care for your teeth and take the extra step precautions especially during the pandemic. Which makes me feel safe. I could move hundreds of miles away and would come back for dentist appointments back here.

I went to this dentist and a women poked me in the back of my mouth making me bleed and my mouth was swollen for 24 hours ! This is the worst dentist I have ever been to and I do not recommend it to anyone else !

Have been for several cleanings, a tooth pulled and a crown. Great service! Love! I do think the prices have gone up!!!!! I have no insurance, so that hurts!

I've had a broken tooth for two months now and over a week ago it became abscessed and painful. Took forever to find a dentist that accepted my insurance and once I did, I had to wait over a week for my appointment with North Aiken Dental. I get there at 8:15am this morning and they had a note on the door saying u must have a mask on to come in. LUCKILY I had mine on bc they sure didn't tell me when I made the appointment. They called me to the back after 45 min and right when I sat in the chair I let out a small cough. She immediately told me I was gonna have to reschedule bc I coughed even tho they took my temp and all! I told her I have asthma and lung disease so coughing for me is normal and it was hard to breathe in that mask. She left the room and came back 35 min later just to say I could come back when my cough is under control! It will never be under control!! So I was there for one and a half hours for an appointment I waited over a week to get just to be kicked out bc of my disease that is NOT covid 19!!! I was livid!! I stormed out mad as HELL! Took me 7 more phone calls to find another dentist and gotta wait another 9 days in pain until then. Forget this morning!! Hope my day gets better.
