Dr Mistie Norten has practiced dentistryin the McHenry County area since 2007. She grew up in McHenry County and attended the Johnsburg schools prior to graduating from Wilmot Union High School just over thestate line in Wisconsin.She thenattendedMcHenry County Collegefor two years prior to enlisting in the United States Army. Dr. Norten served her country for four years before returning to Illinois to finish her education. She spent two more years atSouthern Illinois University - Edwardsvillefinishing her bachelor's degree and then completed her dental studies atSouthern Illinois University - School of Dental Medicine.
Throughout 2008 and 2009, Dr. Norten traveledto several locations inIllinois, Indiana, Florida, South Dakota, Maryland and Texas to do dental work for members of the Army National Guard and Reserves. She was responsible for exams and dental treatment on soldiers preparing to deploy overseas and soldiers just returning from deployments.
Staci is our Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Florida Southwestern State College with an A.S. degree. She was raised locally to the office but enjoys to travel and go fishing. She prides herself on being up to date with current information to provide the most effective patient care and chairside education.
Amber is one ofour Chair-side Assistants. Amber enjoys assisting Dr. Nortenwith all aspects of dentistry and always looks forward to talking with our patients. She is a great team member that is more than happy to help you with whatever you may need.

I have had some real bad experiences in the past with dentists in the area but I have to say Advanced Dental Solutions was the breath of fresh air I so desperately needed. They are extremely thorough and offered some of friendliest, quality care I have ever seen. The dentist and hygienist were AMAZING quickly addressing my dental issues and giving me the most thorough cleaning I have ever experienced. I can't thank them enough for the quality care I received and I HIGHLY recommend them!

Cannot say enough good things about this Dentist and her employees. Dr. Norton and her hygienist are thorough, thoughtful, informative and fun to be around. Rocky, her receptionist is warm and welcoming and very efficient. I would recommend Advanced Dental Solutions to everyone.

Yesterday was our first visits with Dr Mistie Norten. We were so impressed with every moment we were there. My husband and I both. From walking in the door, to meeting the dental hygienist, and dentist. Everyone was so kind, and so professional especially with Covid-19. They took care of us, assuring our safety along with theirs. We had gone to same dentist for over 30 years, and never knew her practice was so outdated, till coming here. All new technology.

Dr.Norten made me a new bottom plate. It took a few appointments to get it right but I am very happy with it. It needs an adjustment but I want to wear it a few days so I can tell her exactly what the problem is. I know she will be able to fix it. The office by staff very good and fun. I will recommend them anytime.
