Dr. Amanda Ward is a born and raised Oklahoman. She grew up in Moore, OK before attending Oklahoma State University, where she graduated in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She then went on to the University of Oklahoma, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2007. Dr. Ward completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN in 2009. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
In addition to her passion for pediatric dentistry, Dr. Ward enjoys running with her husband Brad, cooking and reading. She loves spending time with her husband and their two adorable young daughters.
Dr. Ward knows that each child is different, and her team seeks to make sure every child that walks through their door has the best experience possible. Through individualized care and attention, each child will receive excellent dental care at Norman Pediatric Dentistry. It is our role is to assist parents in raising healthy children with healthy smiles.

Our first visit went so well, my son loved this place! The waiting room was perfect for young kids, with the play area. My 6 year old son is never excited to go to the dentist, but he really enjoyed his first visit at this one. The staff was also super friendly, they made us feel welcome rather than other offices that are just looking to push people through. Definitely recommend!

I cancelled before we even attempted to attend my sons first appointment. My reminder email stated no other children may attend, and that leaves me with no option since I have a newborn in addition to my 1 year old. They also require my 1 year old to be masked, so I won't be supporting a business that enforces that type of illogical lunacy on babies

When looking up a child's dentist that accepts soonercare they show up and yet they do not accept any soonercare what so ever.

I appreciate Dr. Ward and all of the staff. They are so kind and gentle with my kids. Dr. Ward listened to my concerns and was very thorough.

If you're looking for a pediatric dentist, look no further. The way the office is set up is amazing. The entire office is so colorful. Even on the outside! The ladies are great with children and use kid friendly terms to educate them. I will never take my son anywhere else. Plus the awesome fish tank!

PLEASE READ TO SAVE YOU YOUR TIME. I have 2 sons. One is more sensitive and sensory. The other is not. So I made a decision as a mother to let my oldest go to who he felt most comfortable with. It ended up not being Norman Pediatric and because of this they called us back within the first week and told me they no longer could see my youngest (that's more sensitive and sensory) I tried my hardest to advocate for him and explain to them even getting my husband involved trying to get it resolved because my youngest needed work done & their staff was so good for them. Sadly enough an amazing staff doesn't make the leadership any better. They refused to see my son just simply because my oldest wanted to be seen elsewhere. They tried to tell me it was because I didn't trust them with their treatment plan but that was lies. They tried to make me feel as though I was wrong the entire time and simply would not hear me as a mother trying to tell them how different my sons are and one needs more sensitive care than the others. But they wouldn't listen. I have cried over this whole drama fest and I am not a naturally confrontational person so me writing this review is me hopefully warning if u do not agree with them 100% they will waste your insurance money on a check up and then send you off elsewhere if you merely ask questions (which I was a curious mother, I'm not very teeth savvy but somehow they took this as me questioning their treatment then somehow in me not trusting them? ) the whole thing was a mind trip and so stressful. I simply wanted my 5 year old to feel safe and cared for and they made me feel like a mother that was not good enough & a failure. So no I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

My son has been coming to Dr. Ward since he was about 1/2-2 years old. Every experience has been beyond exceptional.( even through Covid when I couldn't go in but we had been a few times before and they were so great I fully trusted their care!) The staff is always helpful, cheerful/positive, informative & the office is VERY clean. I highly recommend Dr. Amanda Ward for pediatric dentistry we will never go anywhere else until it's time to graduate. :) Thanks for being an awesome place and providing outstanding care to my Liam!

My son recently saw Dr. Ward for his first dentist appointment. The waiting area was clean and had several toys for my son to play with. He also loved looking at the fish in the waiting area. All the staff that helped us were great! Dr. Ward was awesome with my son. She interacted with him and asked him questions. She made me feel comfortable and addressed all concerns. My son had a great first visit. The next day he was asking to go back to the dentist!

We had an amazing experience with Dr. Ward and her staff. Everyone in the clinic was so kind and friendly and we instantly felt welcomed. My little one wasn't super cooperative when trying to get xray images. However, they didn't make me feel like they were irritated and said we would try again later. They were super thorough & comforting on explaining the oral procedure process that my little one will be having next month. We're so glad we were referred to Dr Ward and we will definitely recommend her and the clinic to others in the future!

Great dentist office in how they take care of the kids, but their Covid rules and office hours are lacking. Don't schedule 8 am appointments and not open your doors until after 8. A 12 year old gets to have a parent go back with them while my 4 year old had to go to the dentist and get x rays for the first time by herself because my one year was with her mom so they were forced to sit in the car and send her by herself. I understand Covid being a concern still, but this seems irrational with a vaccinated parent and baby trying to come with their barely 4 year old.

I like that the dentistry is staying vigilant about the coronavirus, and I feel safe sending my kid in there. Dr. Ward is nice and knowledgeable, and her staffs are courteous and good with kids.
