Dr. Pivovar was born in Moscow, Russia where he started working toward his degree in dentistry before immigrating to the United States in 1978. He attended Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University where he studied language and other various courses. Dr. Pivovar later continued his education and studies at Case Western Reserve University earning his Bachelor of Science Degree and DDS graduation in 1987 with honors.
After graduating Dr. Pivovar completed his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 1988 and has been in private practice since 1990. He regularly attends continuing education course in all aspects of dentistry because of his commitment to providing his patients the highest level of oral heath, general wellness and personal care.

Good dentists are hard to find. I've been coming to this office for several years now. I have moved 40 minutes away recently but still insist on coming back. It's worth the drive. Everyone in the office has been super nice and make you feel comfortable. My children even feel comfortable and kids are difficult to please.

I am new to the Medina area and hadn't had the opportunity to find a new dentist. I had an emergency arise and took a chance based on reviews. Everyone associated with this practice was so warm and welcoming. They got me in right away and Dr Pivovar and his staff were so very kind and professional. Front office staff very welcoming and helpful. Hygienist very thorough. Willing to answer questions. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Pivovar seemed knowledgeable. All in all, very pleased and satisfied. It was nice being treated like a person rather than a number.

I dont like going to the dentist till i went to this place. The lady cleaning my teeth was friendly and happy to chat. It was a pretty nice visit. I am going back there in about 2 weeks to get a cavity filled.
