Dr. Detweiler currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband, Todd, their two kids, Mackenzie and Wesley, and their two pups, Skittles and Cookie. When she is not doing one of the many activities with her kids, she enjoys snowboarding, watching sports, doing puzzles, and going to the beach.

I LOVE Norfolk Dental Care! Tia, the Business Assistant at the reception desk is extremely helpful at adjusting my appointments when needed, and puts me at ease the moment I come in the front door. I've had dentist anxieties for many years, but this office certainly does everything to undo my long-seated fears! My dental hygienist is Megan and she's so gentle yet thorough in cleaning my teeth. She uses a cool ultrasonic tool that mostly eliminates the need for the old-fashioned scraping. I still had a few teeth needing more attention, but not many. I didn't need their state-of-the-art digital xrays today, but appreciate they integrate the newest technology to care for us patients. Dr. Shahroz Daud, DMD is my friendly, gentle dentist. He takes the time to explain things and does whatever is necessary to make my teeth the best that they can be! Thank you, Norfolk Dental Care! See you in six months!

I had a bit of trouble trying to find a Dentist who accepted my insurance. Called Norfolk Dental Care this morning and not only do they take my insurance but they had a cancellation for today. Everyone there was great, super friendly, very thorough and knowledgeable, from the time I called, the front desk staff and the hygiene assistant. Amanda the hygienist was thorough and very gentle, made sure I was doing ok and understood what was going on. Dr. Detweiler took her time explaining everything and getting to know me. So happy that the dentist I was waiting to see for 8 months canceled today because they stopped taking my insurance, or I would have missed out on finding this office! Definitely highly recommended and I am so glad I found them.

I was very impressed with Norfolk Dental Care. Before coming here we had no real long term is long term plan for our dental health. The staff was incredibly helpful and very nice. The facility was very wheelchair friendly as well.

I had an excellent experience at Norfolk Dental Care.including the receptionist, hygienist, and dentist. I worked primarily with Amanda, who was very friendly, professional and walked me through the process and procedures. The office is clean and modern. The only problem you may encounter is, due to their great service it may take you some time to get an appointment. However if you can wait, it's worth it!
