Dr. Goldwire completed her BSc at the University of British Columbia. She was drawn to dentistry because of the science behind the profession, the immediate results, and the opportunity to craft with her hands. Dr. Goldwire is a kind and conservative dentist. She enjoys helping patients reach optimal oral health and achieve their own smile goals.
Dr. Goldwire received her DDS from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2001. She is extensively trained in a wide range of dental services including extractions, root canals, restorative implants, crowns, veneers, and dentures. Additionally, Dr. Goldwire is a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Goldwire believes in practicing conservative dentistry. She gives patients a variety of treatment options, so they always feel in control of their care. Dr. Goldwire offers invisalign using our iTero scanner, which can be used to give our patients a simulated look at what their smile can look like after treatment. We also use iTero scanners in place of most impressions in our office, eliminating the goopy, uncomfortable impression material you may be used to.
JoJo is our head assistant and an EFDA, meaning she is certified to complete more advanced dental procedures. She has been in the dental field for over 15 years and enjoys it more and more each day. When she is not working, she wants to be on the water, spending time with her mutts, trying new breweries and traveling the world.
Jassett began her career in dentistry in 2013 as a sterilization technician. She has since completed her Bachelor of Science degree from UBC and came a full-time dental assistant and manager's assistant at our office. She specializes in teeth whitening. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and volunteering her time tutoring high school students.
You may recognize Jennifer from a couple years back when she worked here during the last few years of Dr. James' career. She decided to come back to us as our office manager and EFDA. Jennifer has worked as a dental assistant since 2001 and is currently working in the front office, although, you may see her in the back office from time to time.
Lisa has over 20 years experience in the dental field. She started out as an assistant and decided to go back to school to become a hygienist. She has now been a hygienist for over 12 years. You may recognize her from working with Dr. James and Dr. Goldwire a few years ago. She has two wonderful children that keep her very busy in her spare time.
Valerie is very comfortable in the world of dentistry as she has several family members in the industry. She enjoys working at the front desk where she can build relationships with all our patients. Shes likely the first person to greet you when entering the office.When shes not working, Valerie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, doing crafts, and playing with her toy poodle Jelly.
