Dr. Nord was born and raised in Bloomington-Normal. She graduated valedictorian from University High School and Magna Cum Laude from Illinois Wesleyan University. At Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine she graduated Cum Laude, won the Dean's Scholarship Award and awards in both Implant and Restorative dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and McLean County Dental Society. On September 1, 2017, Dr. Nord took over the practice of Dr. Daniel Milligan and has been serving his patients, and new patients, ever since.
'I love getting to know my patients and hearing about their lives. I try to treat everybody like family, in that I want them to receive the best possible dental care. I 'm confident in my growing knowledge in the field of dentistry and treat people with honesty and compassion.'
Dr. Nord is a member of the Arrow Study Club, an affiliate of Seattle Study Club. She has made a commitment to lifelong learning to provide her patients with the best care and newest techniques currently available in dentistry. As a member of the Arrow Study Club, Dr. Nord spends time outside the office at monthly meetings to keep up on the latest developments and treatment options available to patients.
Annie is a mother and enjoys spending time with her family. She likes working out and doing just about any outdoor activity such as golfing, fishing, and hunting. Growing up she was a trampolinist and a member of the USTA National Tumbling and Trampoline Team for 8 years. She was involved in several activities and sports in high-school and college such as basketball, tennis, cheer leading, student council, playing piano, and chorus. She traveled twice to Honduras with the IWU Global Medical Brigades for medical mission trips and to Jamaica with the Christian Dental Society to provide free dental care for those who could otherwise not afford it. Annie studied abroad in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands and is a conversational Spanish speaker. She has also competed in several pool tournaments and has won the women's division of the ICMOA 8-ball State Tournament.

Lisa began working in this office in 1993 after graduating from University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She is very active in staying up-to-date on the latest techniques through continuing education courses and is certified in nitrous oxide sedation.
Chelse graduated from Parkland College Dental Hygiene Program in 2011 and is certified in local anesthetic delivery. She truly enjoys getting to know our patients and always makes sure everyone leaves with a happy, healthy smile!
Raised in our sweet town of Bloomington, Scout can pretty much find anything in common with any of our patients. She is kind, gentle, and full of good stories. She also has similar DNA to Dr. Nord...they're cousins!

I became a patient of Dr. Nord when she took over Dr. Milligan's practice. I had a great Dentist before and I have a great Dentist again, awesome! I look forward to future visits knowing I can trust the knowledge, skill and enthusiasm Dr. Nord and staff have for their patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Annie Nord's for about 3 years. I went to her office once for a big crown on an upper back tooth, and once when I had an infected tooth that needed pulled. Dr. Annie has a very calming demeanor, explains each step thoroughly and lets you ask questions if needed. I've never felt any pain during the procedure whatsoever. Her staff also are knowledgeable and professional. I appreciate Dr. Annie as my dentist. I would highly recommend Dr. Annie Nord and her dental group!!

I highly recommend Dr. Nord! She and her staff are competent, kind, professional, and efficient. The hygienist was very friendly and gave me an excellent cleaning. Dr. Nord was genuine and warm, and provided a thorough exam. She also filled a cavity and I didn't experience any pain. Dr. Nord and her staff answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. I also brought my son to see her and she was great with him!

It is easy to smile when you have a great set of teeth! If you are wanting to improve your outlook start with dental hygiene. Dr. Annie and her team will help you achieve your wellness goals through regular cleaning, maintenance, and recommendations for "at-home" dental maintenance. (I am in love with my combo electric water pic and toothbrush!). If you have little ones who are just beginning their teeth care regimen, Annie and her staff are perfect for a friendly introduction to all things dental. Full disclosure, she is my sister but she really is a great dentist! :)
