Dr. Ghayoumi received her Doctor ofDental Surgerydegree in 1992. She continued her post graduate studies in the field ofPeriodontics, mastering her techniques in soft and hard tissue surgery as well as all surgeries related to the placement of implants such as extraction, bone grafts and sinus lift. Always expanding her educational foundation, Dr. Ghayoumi attended an extensive three year program at University of Southern California from 1999-2002, specifically around the field of study ofdental implants and periodontics.
Dr. Ghayoumi has made significant achievements above and beyond the mandatory educational requirements in her specialty and is certified by the American Board ofPeriodontologywhere she is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. This achievement required her to fully and successfully complete multiplepatient treatmentcases and to present the results to her peers in the field, as well as academia.
Dr. Ghayoumi was a former part-time clinical assistant professor at University of Southern California, Post Graduate Department. In addition to teaching, she practices her field of expertise in her private practice. She also enjoys research in the area ofperiodonticsand has been published in numerous scientific journals. Her publications include: Ghayoumi N, Chen C, Slots J, Dialister pneumosintes, a new putative periodontal pathogen. Journal ofPeriodontalResearch 2002; 37:75-78. Most recently Dr. Ghayoumi is pioneering the field of reconstructive lip surgery. The results of these procedures are permanent and for many of her patients, life changing. This isnt temporary cosmetic injections, rather a unique and highly specialized form of surgery. Silvia graduated from OC Dental Academy with a degree in dental assisting. Her primary responsibilities are assisting the doctor, teaching proper home care and surgical post-operative instructions for our patients. She is a kind and caring person who enjoys interacting with our patients. Outside of work she enjoys to spend time with her family and friends.
Dr. Ghayoumi is dedicated to provide the highest quality periodontal and implant treatment using the latest technologies, research, and therapies. She is located in Irvine, CA and services all of Orange County.

I recently had 2 bone graft and 2 gum graft surgeries. All of which I was extremely frightened to have done. Dr. Ghayoumi and her staff made me feel at ease. I knew from my 1st consultation visit I was in good hands. Dr. Ghayoumi is a perfectionist. A master at her specialty. I am SO HAPPY with the results. I recommend her to anyone who is considering periodontal treatment. Dr. Ghayoumi is an excellent periodontist and a great human being who actually cares. Her staff is very friendly, welcoming, and super helpful. Great team!!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Ghayoumi and her staff! I had two gum recession surgeries, and her and her team always made me feel comfortable and relaxed. They were very professional, kind, and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dental surgeon!

I had to get an implant and after much research and getting various dentists opinions and reading reviews on Yelp, and Google found Dr. Ghayoumi. I was very impressed with her level of experience. As a patient you feel like she does implants in her sleep. She is efficient, quick, detail oriented, does high quality work, on time, and is very professional. It took a few months to do the implant, let the bone heal and finalize it with a crown. My implant did not have much room and was very close to my sinuses. Dr Ghayoumi perfectly placed in the post, just missing my sinus. I am very happy with the outcome. It feels like my original tooth. I would recommend her for your next implant.

I would highly recommend Dr. Ghayoumi for periodontal services. I had a very tricky gum graft done on my lower front teeth where the frenulum was pulling. Another periodontist spent time telling me how it wouldn't really be very doable. She simply got it done. Of course, the recovery wasn't painless (no surgeries are), but Dr. Ghayoumi was very patient with direct contact to her cell phone when I had questions or concerns. I never had to wait in her office. I'm not an easy customer, and I've only written maybe one other review in my life.

I would like to give some appreciation to the receptionist who helped me so much before and during my visit. The hygienist in the office is wonderful as well, very supportive and knowledgeable. Dr. Nooshin Ghayoumi provided great service and their team has shown that they know how to treat patients with great care.

Dr. Nooshin Ghayoumi and her staff are very honest, professional and friendly. When you leave her office you feel good knowing you got the best care. My husband got work done the other day. They took really good care of him and even followed up when we got home. Dr. Nooshin Ghayoumi gets a 10+ from us.

I had a dark and receded gumline on my front tooth to the point where my implant on that tooth was slightly showing. Dr. Ghayoumi gave me an honest assessment to tell me how complicated a procedure to correct this would be. She was willing to take on my case but made sure I understood that there were no guarantees. I appreciated her realistic approach and willingness to listen to all my concerns. The night before the surgery she went out of her way to find a screw needed for the next day that my dentist could not. Throughout the process of surgery and long recovery, she stayed in communication emailing with me, video chatting with me to address my questions and concerns about the progress. The final product turned out much better than expected with much of the darkness gone and my gumline looking lower and healthier than it had in the last few years. Dr. Ghayoumi is very skilled and I'm glad to have found her for the work I wanted done. Highly recommend!

Amazing periodontist with an equally amazing office staff! One feels welcomed and I was always greeted by name whether I called or entered the waiting room. Dr. Ghayoumi is a skilled professional who is warm and reassuring and always concerned about patient comfort. She takes time to educate you on your dental care. Madeline, Jennifer, and Sylvia are just as caring and skilled. This office gets my highest recommendation!

I got an implant for my front tooth (9- central incisor) which one of the hardest implants to do. The thing was, it didn't feel like the hardest one at all because Dr. Nooshin was able to execute the procedure easily while maintaining a positive atmosphere. I enjoyed every single visit because of the great customer service. It always felt welcoming and professional at the same time! I HIGHLY recommend if you need an implant, you contact Dr. Nooshin. I promise you'll be satisfied by the results!!

've always been super traumatized and afraid of the dentist. Dr Ghayoumi's beautiful dentistry is super welcoming and eased my anxiety. I was able to get an appointment really quick and the front desk ladies were really helpful with the whole insurance process. I wish I knew their names. One of them answers the phone and the other one is a dental assistant. They both are super sweet and helpful! The surgeon. Dr. Nooshin Ghayoumi is really great at walking you through the whole process. She even called me late night to check up on me and see if I was experiencing pain. 10/10 overall and highly recommend!

Dr. Ghayoumi and her staff are EXCELLENT! I needed an extraction, bone graft and implant over a year ago. She and her team took great care of me. I can now "chew away" without thinking about it. I continue to go back for after-care, cleanings, and perio-maintenance to maintain the results (which I think is really important). They have a really nice office and they keep it quite clean. I make the drive from up in LA county because of the care I receive here. You are made to feel comfortable from the front office to the back. We heartily recommend Dr. Ghayoumi and her wonderful team to our clients and friends!
