Dr. Son Nguyen grew up in New Orleans, LA. He attended Louisiana State University where he earned a degree in Information System Decision Science. He continued his education at the LSU School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree and graduated at the top of his class with a perfect 4.0 GPA. He also completed his Orthodontic Residency program at the LSU School of Dentistry where he received extensive training in the management of tooth movement and facial development of dentofacial orthopedics.
During his dental school career, Dr. Nguyen was a 3-year Baldridge Scholarship recipient and was also an honor student thoughout his dental education. He was awarded membership to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society as well as the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society. Dr. Nguyens clinical achievements and dedication to the field of dentistry were recognized by his instructors and colleagues when he received numerous awards and scholarships.
Dr. Nguyen served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Seargent and was awarded several meritorious masts for excellence during his training and active duty.
Dr. Nguyen has a great passion for the field of orthodontics. He values his relationships with patients and enjoys watching not only their smiles be transformed but also their personalities and self-esteem. Dr. Nguyen treats his patient as if he were treating his own family.
