Dr. Son Nguyen grew up in New Orleans, LA. He attended Louisiana State University where he earned a degree in Information System Decision Science. He continued his education at the LSU School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree and graduated at the top of his class with a perfect 4.0 GPA. He also completed his Orthodontic Residency program at the LSU School of Dentistry where he received extensive training in the management of tooth movement and facial development of dentofacial orthopedics.
During his dental school career, Dr. Nguyen was a 3-year Baldridge Scholarship recipient and was also an honor student thoughout his dental education. He was awarded membership to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society as well as the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society. Dr. Nguyens clinical achievements and dedication to the field of dentistry were recognized by his instructors and colleagues when he received numerous awards and scholarships.
Dr. Nguyen served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Seargent and was awarded several meritorious masts for excellence during his training and active duty.
Dr. Nguyen has a great passion for the field of orthodontics. He values his relationships with patients and enjoys watching not only their smiles be transformed but also their personalities and self-esteem. Dr. Nguyen treats his patient as if he were treating his own family.

Definitely recommend. Dr. Nolan and Samatha are one of the most sweetest people ever. They really truly care for their patients and are so kind. If you're looking for a ortho definitely go to them you won't regret it!! They were so patient with my treatment, that took longer than expected and never charged me an extra dime.

I have been a patient of Nolan Smile Orthodontics for more than 3 years and I am extremely satisfied. I had a tough case, which was advised by other dentists to do surgery. However, Dr. Son helped me solve the problem by using braces, a safe and affordable method. After more than 3 years of wearing braces, I had them removed yesterday and I am extremely happy with the result. I received a lot of compliments from relatives and friends, and the most important thing is the confidence of my current smile ^^. I was treated wholeheartedly and happily every time I visit. Even though it took me about an hour from home to get to the dentist's office, but I found it worth it and I highly recommend for everyone else.

Only the Orthodontist will work on your braces. Other places that is a franchise will have Technician work in your braces. Sometimes at a franchise the Orthodontist only visits the location one or two days out of the week so it's hard to get an appointment. Here at Nolan Orthodontist, it's a husband and wife team and it's very easy to get quick help should you need to make an out of schedule appointment.

Dr. Nguyen (pronounced Win) was excellent! From the consultation of traditional braces until the de-bonding of my braces. He is very knowledgeable on all types of braces including Invisalign and he takes his time to explain the course of treatment. He is also very patient and listens to his patients. I had my braces on for a total of 21 months and couldn't be more pleased with the results. My teeth came out beautiful and perfect! Making appointments were easy and never cancelled. Samantha at the front desk is great and very accommodating. There are reasonable paymemt options available for this that must pay out of pocket like I did. I highly recommmed Nolan Orthodontics in Stafford, TX
