Dr. Jeff is an American Board Certified orthodontic specialist. He started his career as a general dentist in public health dentistry, before continuing his education in orthodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to his work, he has spent the last fifteen years traveling abroad to remote areas of Nepal, Cambodia, and Guatemala providing dental care to underserved children. Due to his varied background in both general dentistry and orthodontics, he has developed a broad approach to treatment that takes into account all aspects of the patients oral health.
He has had the good fortune to serve as an educator at one of the most prestigious schools of dentistry in the world, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry, spoken nationally and internationally on orthodontics research and education, and continues to teach as an adjunct faculty member at UNC.

I can't say enough good things about Noble Orthodontics! We went to them for a second opinion and the experience was head and shoulders above what we had experienced elsewhere. They were kind, patient, generous, straightforward and happy to work with us to figure out the best solution for our family. The care they showed our daughter seemed like the care they would show their own children. They truly put us at ease. Not only have we switched to them, but we'll be bringing our second child there, as well. If you're looking for an orthodontist, I HIGHLY recommend Noble Orthodontics!

Noble Orthodontics treated us like family. They didn't charge us for a consultation (which is rare these days) and applied zero pressure for us to move forward with them. Their recommendations for our pre-teen were straightforward and simple. They truly just wanted the best for our child's oral health. Their policies are incredibly generous and we felt comforted by the ability to switch our choice to metal braces if Invisalign doesn't work out. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly. I don't think you'll find a better office to work with. I highly recommend Noble Orthodontics.

Noble Orthodontics was awesome! They made the Invisalign process simple. Maria and Dr Jeff were helpful and professional. I love how my teeth are progressing. The office is clean and gorgeous and the homemade cookies are amazing!

I brought my two kids to noble orthodontist and I must say I was quite pleased in the care they have received from Dr. Jeff and the ladies working with him. The staff are courteous and very sweet to my kids. The facility is beautiful and super clean. Jamie is the best and won over my kids with amazing cookies. I highly recommend. Thank you.

We have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Berndt. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt completely confident that our son was in good hands. The technology he uses is state of the art and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They are all excellent at what they do and I highly recommend!

I am so impressed by Noble Orthodontics. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcome and comfortable! The staff are incredibly helpful and talked with me during my Invisalign scans and follow-up appointment, making sure I was doing well throughout. Dr. Berndt is an absolute treasure and is as kind as can be. I never felt pressured to pursue any particular type of treatment, which matters a lot to me. The office is also immaculately clean and, though it matters less than the actual orthodontics, beautifully decorated. I am so excited to continue my Invisalign journey with the team at Noble and I would *highly* recommend them to anyone!

I've nothing but good things to say about Noble Orthodontics. The new office is beautiful and conveniently located. Scheduling and payment is flexible and easy. The staff are friendly and follow Covid protocols. Dr. Berndt and everyone I've worked with are knowledgeable and efficient. My teeth look fantastic - I highly recommend this practice.

I honestly can't speak highly enough of Noble Orthodontics. The staff really went above and beyond in making sure I got what I needed, especially Megan! I would particularly recommend them for people who are maybe nervous around dentists and orthodontists, because they're really welcoming and good at setting people at ease.
