Always eager to learn, Dr. Mendelovitz has dedicated himself to continue expanding his knowledge of dentistry so that he can provide the best possible care to his patients.
He enjoys getting to know his patients so that he can care for them as individuals, believing that oral health is strongly linked to systemic health. When hes not in the office, youll find Dr. David spending time with his wife and son, in the kitchen cooking, or reading sci-fi and fantasy novels.
Jenniffer Guardado was born in El Salvador and raised in Waltham, MA. Jenn attended Boston Career Institute and is a licensed dental assistant. She is the head dental assistant in our practice and is responsible for assisting in clinical procedures while ensuring your visit is comfortable and warm. Jenn can be seen at community events representing NK Family Dentistry throughout the year. On her spare time, Jenn loves to go shopping and spend time with her friends and family.
Our wonderful assistant, Joylove, is continuing to bring her compassion and care to your treatment, ensuring your comfort at all times. Joylove is a dental assistant with a true love for the field, and an enthusiastic team player. She has been with this practice for almost a year and has assisted with Dr. Darviche, as well. Her smile may not be a new one but it sure is a great one!

This Dentistry is clean and comfortable, and everyone is very friendly. Doctors are all professional and careful. I've been a patient here since 2016 and enjoyed my visit every time. Strongly recommend!

Dr. mendelovitz is awesome. Took care of a wisdom tooth problem for me. From setting up my appointment to actually getting my tooth out was such a quick and easy process, this is coming from someone who gets super nervous at the dentist office. Highly recommend

Everyone here is always so friendly and kind! I've always been able to get an appt very quickly, for me and my daughter. They really do make the experience smooth and seamless! We went in for a cleaning and the dr managed to do my daughters fillings as well. I've recommended this place to family and I highly recommend it to whoever is reading this review! I just got a crown put in and it was a very easy and positive experience. Dr. David is great and knowledgeable and made sure to explain the process in great detail. Joy, who assisted the process, was also great and made sure I was comfortable throughout. When the crown didn't fit exactly right, Dr. David made sure to make the appropriate adjustments until everything fit perfectly. Glad that NK is nearby so that I can continue to get my dental needs taken care of in a local and welcoming location. UPDATE: I also just had an emergency tooth extraction due to a separate fractured tooth. Tooth pain is no joke, and Dr. David and Joy were able to get the tooth out of there quickly with minimal pain. And while I would've paid anything to get the tooth out, after insurance, my total out-of-pocket was crazy low! Thanks again for your help guys - keep up the great work!

The best! Everyone is so kind and Dr. David is not only thorough but very knowledgeable about each procedure. I had been turned away by dentists regarding some dental work previously but he was happy to help me come up with a plan to fix my issue. Everyone at the practice is lovely and i enjoy my dentist appointments here. Highly recommend due to their fantastic staff & great work.

The receptionist here is rude. She gave me wrong information. Also they didn't sent the imaging reports when my doctor requested. I will definitely not go there again. I don't recommend them.

Very poor customer service. Charged me more and treated like a machine when taking images of my teeth. The lady at reception was having bad attitude. Will take my business elsewhere.

Dr. Stephanos is gentle, efficient and also incredibly accommodating. He makes the experience calming and exudes professionalism. I really appreciate the sterile office and health checks that they do prior to a patient entering.

I don't go to different dentists often, so I can't really compare and contrast. But what strikes me is Dr. Lui and Jen's team work. When they work together, you can sense the jovial, high-spirits and general well-being of them being at work. And at this point, you don't need to be a pro to know, that you are in great hands. To verify, I did go to another dentist and their first remark with my treatment was "wow, these are done very well" They have also been very transparent with their charges. Before my next treatment, they printed out a summary of charges on what to expect... including what insurance to cover - it turns out that they went ahead and called my insurance ahead of time. I was impressed. I'm a big fan. I live 40 mins away, but I will be back (hopefully not too often :) ).

I will only allow Dr. Stephanos to take care of my teeth. I travel an hour just to be seen by him- he's a highly skilled professional and the best dentist I've ever had. I was in a lot of pain because I needed a root canal and he performed a flawless procedure. By the time I got home, my tooth was pain free. I highly recommend his dentistry.

It was unbelievably great, but right now it is completely scammed place. They charge me more than it supposed to be, do not returns my calls and making everything to convince you to pay more. I understand that it's hard times for everyone but it's a not your patients problem. I feel like they punch me in a face. Do not recommend anymore to anyone

I chose this dental office because of the good comments. Have to say it was the worst one among three I experienced so far. They treated you like machine without caring when do teeth cleaning. The X-ray they provided to me is blur so the surgeon has to take a new one for teeth extraction, so I have to pay it. So unprofessional!

Everyone on staff is friendly, courteous, and treats you like family. Dr. Lui is amazing, does great work, has a great sense of humor, and only recommends work that is necessary. Even my daughter loves going to the dentist now, and always comes home with a balloon animal! This is the best dentist office that I've been to...highly recommended.

CARING KIND and PROFESSIONAL!!! From the front desk manager Jessy to Jen the dental assistant to Dr Kirstin Liu, I experienced the BEST DENTAL care I have ever had! Jessy greets you so kindly it's as if you are a family member. She patiently answers any questions and works with you to get a good appointment time. Jen is gentle and careful when she takes impressions and always has a cheery attitude. Dr. Kirstin Liu is an exceptionally experienced ,brilliant, and skilled dentist whose kind manner makes going to the dentist a good experience! The crown she made for me fits perfectly! She made sure I was ok and not in pain through the whole procedure. And I trust her as I would trust a family member, she is that wonderful!!

My husband and I have been patients here since we moved to Waltham in 2014. Dr Lui and her staff have always been among the most friendly and helpful we have found anywhere. We recently changed our children to this practice as well, and along with routine care for all of us, my youngest has also had extraction of two baby teeth done in this office. Their great care, patience, knowledge and the welcoming office make dental visits more enjoyable than we've found anywhere else. Highly recommend NK Family Dentistry!

Everyone from Jessy at the front desk to Dr. Lui and her assistant Kristen to their intern Dorothy were all very nice, thorough and professional. Safe to safe this is my favorite dentist!!
