One of the best dentists in the Bay Area. The staff are very nice and helpful. The dentist is professional, doesn't make you wait long, and does a great job at minimizing discomfort. I recommend them to all of my family and friends.

Our family is so grateful to Dr. Dharmani and her team, and Dr. Contro, whom we see with Dr. Dharmani. My daughter's Invisalign treatment has drastically improved her life (in areas ranging from teeth grinding to sleep apnea, and even salad-eating, not to mention that her bite and smile are beautiful). And we've gotten these results from the patience, persistence and creativity of the team.

Almost the very first thing they recommended was for me to get Invisalign for a very small potential future issue, when ever other dentist I've ever had has been surprised at how straight my teeth are. I also got a filling that A) Fell out and had to be redone, and B) Always gets stuff stuck up there whenever I eat anything remotely stringy now.

Short version: I do not recommend using Dharmani's office for your dental needs. This is a profits-first business, and their quality of care and professionalism are highly questionable. Read on for my experience. Long Version: I first visited last year with a broken tooth. After a full mouth of x-rays, the practitioner said I would need a root canal--I expected that. Also indicated that I had a number of other problems that needed to be addressed, some cavities in a couple different places. They gave me a referral to another doctor in their complex for the root canal, and we scheduled an appointment in the future for a crown fitting and to correct cavities on the same side. After I was in the chair and numbed for the fitting, and after the dentist had drilled multiple teeth, I was told I would need a $1,200 crown lengthening procedure, and that I should do it right then and there. They said that the doctor who could do it was going out on maternity leave. Then proceeded to tell me this was an oral surgery where they would cut my gums back and grind my jaw bone to expose more of the tooth. I was shocked to be told is need to spend that amount of money, but even more put off by the suggestion that I had limited time to decide to have surgery because of someone's maternity leave. The dentist thought my concern was that I couldn't afford it, and offered me a credit card. Cost was NOT my problem, it was the lack of proper advisement before being asked to make a decision through a numbed, drooling mouth, on the spot. I said I couldn't do it that day, so they went back to work on the other teeth. By this point the anesthetic was wearing off, and the drilling was hurting me. Rather than administering more, she said "that shouldn't be the case, but we can be done," and started to clean up and push me out the door. I ended up getting the lengthening elsewhere, and finished the crown with Dharmani's office because no other dentists wanted to touch their work in process. All said and done, they told me I couldn't get a cleaning because my insurance was exhausted. Now a year later, 2 of the 3 teeth they touched need to be refilled because cavities developed under their fillings. I have to pay for this out of pocket because there's a 24 month rule on teeth that have been worked on being covered by insurance. My recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE. They're crooked and gave me the worst experience of my life.

I've been a patient here for about 7 years and have always been treated well. Lately I've had several appointments with Ruby Multani and she really has a magic touch. Besides being very personable she's very professional and has always completed my dental work pain free, quickly, and with consummate skill. I consider her a real find and for the first time in my life actually enjoy going to the dentist!

I love Dr. Dharmani and her staff. They take great care of me and my family, my brother and his family too! Her staff in specific, Thuy (dental hygienist), and Janet (Front office manager) treat you like family, and exceed my expectations. Dr. Dharmani has such a welcoming vibe, and she makes you feel at home in her office. She has great communication skills, and always wants what's best for me and my family when it comes to dental care. I've been with them (my family and my brother's too) for over 10 years now and we feel lucky to have found them.

I took my three kids there, including my toddler. It was his first time ever being to the dentist, and not only did they make him feel comfortable, but they treated him like a person and not just a paycheck. He didn't even cry while they checked and sealed his teeth so he won't get any cavities.
