Dr. Atoosa Nikaeen believes that every person young or old deserves a healthy and beautiful smile. Dr. Nikaeen takes a conservative and detailed approach to orthodontics while incorporating the latest technology, which sets her apart from other orthodontists.
To prepare herself for transforming smiles throughout Southern California, Dr. Nikaeen attended the best schools. For instance, she graduated with honors from dental school before earning her doctorate in dental surgery (DDS).
Dr. Nikaeen practiced dentistry for several years before attending the prestigious Columbia University School of Dentistry and Oral Surgeons in New York. It was at that University where she completed her post-doctoral education in orthodontics and received an orthodontic specialty certificate.
Dr. Nikaeen continues to hone her skills today. She remains up-to-date on the latest advancements in dental and orthodontic surgery by attending numerous continuing education courses, and by subscribing to leading scientific journals. She is also a former faculty member at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Dental School, where she taught in the Orthodontics program.
Dr. Nikaeen built her practice and serves patients in Los Angeles, but she also serves patients in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and the surrounding areas. She has received many awards throughout her career and is a member of several dental organizations.
Monica joined our practice in 2010, bringing with her over seventeen years of administrative experience. Monica knows first-hand the boost of confidence a healthy and beautiful smile can give! Having had braces herself, she does a wonderful job making sure that all of our patients and family members are happily taken care of. She also keeps busy as Nikaeen Orthodontics liaison with other offices as the marketing coordinator. Outside of the office, she does a lot of travelling with her husband, and focuses on being a great role model to her son, daughter and grandson.
Lizs warm and kind demeanor makes your visits and calls very pleasant. Her favorite things about our office? Finding a solution to anything while getting to know all of our patients. Her attention to detail gives our office a warm welcoming vibe. Liz has been in the dental field for 3 years. She really enjoys spending time & watching sports with her husband & sons, Ryan & Eli.
Marlene has been an orthodontic assistant for over ten years! Her favorite thing about working with orthodontic patients is seeing the final results and building relationships with patients along the way. She spends her free time hanging out with her husband and son, reading, listening to music, hiking and snowboarding. Her motto in life is When in doubt, dance it out!
Xiomara joined us in 2010 and has worked in the dental field since 2002. She is a real asset to our team. Her role in the office as a clinical assistant is not only limited to providing quality care to our patients, she is also our Laboratory Technician and assists at the front desk when needed. She loves being a part of the process of seeing the transformation from a humble smile, to a confident, beautiful and proud smile. In her spare time, Xiomara attends online educational courses to further her clinical abilities and shares quality time with her son Blake and daughter Hayden.
Alya joined our wonderful team in 2017. With her expertise & familiarity with children, Alya will ensure that the kids visit to the orthodontist will be fun & friendly! She enjoys spending quality time with her son Travis & her family, and her favorite hobby is traveling back to her beautiful Caribbean country Belize.
At the office of Dr. Atoosa Nikaeen we use cutting-edge most effective orthodontic technology and techniques to ensure you optimal results. Dr. Nikaeen keeps abreast of continuing education courses by attending seminars, on line training, and participating in study clubs on the latest orthodontic knowledge.
Dr. Nikaeens talented art of understanding movement of teeth makes her a unique orthodontist and she can correct or improve even the most challenging bites. Her colleague writes, Dr. Nikaeen was very prescient in her diagnosis suggesting surgery because many Doctors would look at Dainas bite and say that it looks fine

I don't really leave reviews but today I had to. My first time visiting this place and let me tell you I loved it!!! Everyone is really nice, they have good customer service, Dr. Nikaeen is very knowledgeable and professional. Definitely recommend her!

I recently took my daughter for her braces consultation and Dr. Nikaeen was so wonderful! She took her time to explain everything and was so thorough about what needed to be done. I def recommend her to anyone. The staff was very sweet and helpful as well :)

I had recently gotten braces after years of contemplation. I was extremely hesitant, but after meeting Dr. Nikaeen and her team I decided to proceed. I am so glad I did, due to my outstanding results. The staff has been so helpful and kind. I can't emphasize how talented the orthodontist herself is. I'm definitely one to do my homework before committing to something, and I can assure you, she is the top choice to go with.

I really want to share my experience since I believe this may help a lot of similar people in my shoes. I have a special needs child and it can get very challenging at times. I had gone to different offices, but this office was the only one that felt right. Dr Nikaeen and her staff have been so kind and patient. Not to mention how educated and professional Dr. Nikaeen is. Most importantly, my daughter looks forward to her visits without any complications. Dr. Nikaeen delivered unbelievable results considering how difficult my daughter's case has been. I am forever grateful!

So I always do my homework before committing to any treatment. I have heard and read many great things about Dr. Nikaeen, but had to see for myself. My family has gone to Dr. Nikaeen for ortho treatment. I went through 2 cycles myself since I had a relapse. She is very patient and highly competent in her specialty . She has chosen a team of staff that is dedicated to patient success. The last member of our family to complete treatment is my son Chris. He finally got his braces off yesterday after years of treatment.

I'm so happy that I picked Dr. Nikaeen for my Invisalign treatment! She is an incredibly talented,l and understanding orthodontist and takes the time to explain the reasoning behind certain decisions -- and she's always been friendly yet firm! Her staff is also equally as friendly and patient. I can't recommend her enough! I'd give her 10 out of 5 stars if I could :)

Dr. Nikaeen is very detailed and thorough with the treatment. She makes sure your bite and smile are perfect, which was awesome given I was re-aligning my teeth for health purposes.

I have completed treatment! Well, my braces are off. I can honestly say my teeth looked better than I even expected or imagined. I am really excited about my results. Going through traditional orthodontic treatment is a long process and during this process you get to know your treatment team and honestly, all of her assistants and front desk staff were amazing. I've even run into some in public and they were kind and just as engaging at Marshall's . When there has been any hiccups in treatment Dr. Nikaeen has been flexible and accommodating. I am giving five stars not to say that everything was perfect (I mean, what is?) but because what could be done perfectly was and when it wasn't there was def an effort to make things as good as they could be with excellent customer service. I have enjoyed working with Dr. Nikaeen and her team to achieve the smile I've wanted since a teen, and now I have it as an adult! Thanks!

Dr. Nikaeen and her team are amazing. I had braces as a teenager, but I wasn't diligent with my retainers and my teeth started to shift. My teeth were protruding out of my mouth and bite was so unaligned that I was unable to bite/cut food with my front teeth. After 1 year and 8 months, my teeth are so straight and I can finally chew properly! I am so pleased with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Nikaeen if you're looking for a new smile!!
