Dr. Niesen has been my dentist for 26 years! I even moved hundreds of miles away for 15 of those years yet still returned to his office twice each year. He knows what he's doing and goes to great lengths to always stay up to date on best practices. He's professional, pragmatic, down-to-earth, and has gone above and beyond in his DDS care for my soon to be nonagenarian parents...and he knows how to hire! The entire staff have always been top notch, well organized, competent and friendly. I am so grateful for all of the above.

I don't think the Dentist (Paul) is a very nice person. I think he feels he has to be superior to others. I would never step foot in his office if I were you.

I have been a patient of DDS Niesen for over 15 years. He is the most professional and GENTLE dentist that I have ever experienced. That combination is very important to me as I do not use novacaine for cleanings or fillings and DDS Niesen accommodates my wishes. Further, DDS Niesen uses state of the art equipment called CEREC when doing crowns. If you have never heard of CEREC check it out. Instead of going through the process of a "temporary crown" (usually poor fitting) for a few weeks while the "final crown" is being made, DDS Niesen has the CEREC equipment in house to make a permanent final crown in one visit. One other thing about the CEREC technology, DDS Niesen has been an instructor of the process to other dentists for over 10 years. That's right he uses the technology AND teaches others how to use it as well. One final comment about Paul. He is not only the best dentist I have ever used but he is also one of the finest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Dr Niesen and staff are extraordinarily professional, friendly and so darn good at what they do that I have referred 8 of my friends (and now patients) to this practice. As a loyal, long standing patient, I appreciate that appointments are kept on time with minimal to no waiting. I also respect that Dr. Niesen does not tolerate perpetually late patients because it is unfair to the staff and patients who do arrive on time. I wish other medical professionals would adopt the same approach of mutual respect.

Watch out for Dr. NeedleD.He must have been off his meds the day i went to see him. I was 9 minutes late to an appt and the friendly front staff took me back to the dentists chair. A couple minutes later Dr. NeedleD came in and said "Do you know what time it is" i said yes. "Do you know how late you were to you last appt" i said 20 mins. "Do you know how late you were today?" I said 10 mins. "Well we don't operate like that here This is strike number 2 for you and we're not going to treat you here anymore-goodbye" 2 strikes-really- WTF? At this point i was thinking am i in a dentist office or the principals office? I actually said this outloud and his response was "well maybe you should be!" And he stormed off like a 5th grader that got her feelings hurt on the playground.I get it i was late, my fault.but this guy was REALLY UPSET. Never seen such unprofessional behavior from somebody who is supposed to be professional . Anyway he lost 4 patients today (me and rest of my family) because he lost control of his emotions....Strike 3 DOC ..YER OUTTA HERE!!!!

Friendly and clean office where you receive personal attention. Been a customer for years and have recommend many friends to the business. Live in Frederick now but my wife and I still come down the road to this dentist!

My wife and I have seen Dr. Niesen for years. His staff and facilities are terrific. He utilizes advanced techniques to fix teeth instead of putting on crowns. I highly recommend!

Outstanding. The staff are always warm and welcoming. They do a great job of taking care of your needs. They never try to give you care you don't need just to make a few bucks. They care more about the patients than about making money. I've been going to them for years, and plan to as long as I'm in the area.

I hear horror stories about people's teeth hurting after cleanings and that is in no way the case for Dr. Niesen and his staff. I look forward to each of my visits and hope to continue for another 20+ years with them.
