We focus on individualized care in our dental office using digital radiology and other technologies, along with intense patient education. All of our patients are well equipped to take good care of their oral health at home.
It has always been a dream of mine to give back to my community. After graduating from Saratoga High School, I went on to Cal Poly SLO and then to University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. I have always had a love for people and interpersonal interactions along with a true intrigue for science and the human body. I have a constant desire to learn and an innate yearning to help others. I consider myself fortunate to have found a career in dentistry, which lets me mesh all of my true passions into something tangible.

Team success coordinator is a new role for Mandy, who, in her decade of working with Dr. Pagonis, has also served as both a registered dental assistant and a registered dental hygienist. In her current position, Mandy supports the entire team in their goal of providing the best quality dental care to each patient. She also supports other areas of the practice, including OSHA/infection control, human resources, and various projects. Mandy loves using her 20 years of dental experience within the practice in a fun, new way!
Mandys formal training includes a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Southern Utah University and the Foothill College Dental Hygiene Program.Mandy has been awarded the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award, Santa Clara Valley Dental Hygienists Student Leadership Award and has served as the president for her professional organization. She is a licensed continuing education provider for the Dental Board of California specializing in infection control and the dental practice act. She has a passion for mentoring and pushing all boundaries for growth within Dr. Pagonis's dental team.
Sandra is the newest member of Dr. Pagonis's team. However, she is not new to dentistry! Sandra has spent the last 20 years excelling in dental practices across the bay area. Her skillset spans all areas of the administrative side of dentistry. She has excelled as a receptionist, scheduling coordinator, insurance billing coordinator, and office manager. She joins Dr. Pagonis and her team as their Patient and Accounts Team Lead, allowing her to serve each and every patient with her broad skill set. Sandra loves working in a fun family environment with professional coworkers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Brian. They enjoy spending long weekends away at the coast sharing their love of photography. Sandra is also an accomplished ballroom dancer. Sandra is known for her attention to detail, calmness, and kind personality. She looks forward to helping all of Dr. Pagonis's patients, one smile at a time!
A graduate of Bryman College, Javier has been with Nicole E. Pagonis DDS for the past four and a half years. He cites the high points of his job as educating patients, building a rapport with people, working with kids on developing and maintaining great dental habits, learning about and providing high-end dentistry, and working with experienced and skilled team members.
When hes not working, Javier enjoys running, shooting hoops, hiking, swimming, watching sports, traveling to San Francisco and San Diego, and doing crossword puzzles. He also cherishes family time and has been married to his wife Mimi for 17 years. Javier is the proud father of three children and six grandchildren.
Amy has a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from Foothill College. In addition, she also graduated from Dental Hygiene Foothill College where she was also the recipient of the Colgate Student Total Achievement Recognition Award in 2015. Says Amy about her career choice: I became a dental hygienist because I love to serve others. I am able to help patients feel confident about their smiles and improve their overall health. I enjoy building relationships with patients, and I treat them like my own family. I love educating patients about their dental health to empower them to make educated decisions about their dental care. Amy particularly enjoys working with patients who experience dental anxiety, using her naturally calm demeanor to help them feel comfortable in the chair.
Outside of work, this music lover is likely to be taking in a concert with her husband or hiking with their pit bull, Candy. Amy also loves traveling to other countries, exploring new cultures, and eating all the amazing food!
I am the newest member of Dr. Pagonis' Team but I have been practicing dentistry as a clinician for ten years. I was the recipient of the Student Dental Health Allied Scholarship as a dental assistant and dental hygienist student.Being a dental hygienist allows me to meet new people. I get to work with all types of personalities and that helps me become a better clinician. It is important to me to help my patients feel comfortable in my chair. We are working in a close, personal space, so it nice to see a rapport and trust develop with each visit. One of my favorite things about my job is the friendships that form over the years with my patients. I like sharing my life with them and learning about theirs, it is what makes this job so fun.I was born in and raised in Turlock, CA. I moved to the bay area in 2000. I am currently living in Sunnyvale. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two sons who I absolutely adore who keep me busy. I like to cook and learn new recipes that a quick and easy for a working mom, and I love to do Barre3 to help balance my life.
I came in today for two crowns and a deep cleaning, both life changing. Dr. P's local injections are like poetry. I didn't feel the needle AT ALL and was numb the entire time. I even had the chance to catch up on some boxing as they have monitors + Netflix = super win. My hygienist was also awesome.

Our dental office is located on Los Gatos Boulevard, just off Norman Y. Minta Highway (Highway 85) near Good Samaritan Hospital. We are proud to serve employees of the hospital as well as local businesses, including Netflix, Whole Foods Market, El Camino Hospital Los Gatos, Safeway, and Los Gatos Elementary School District.

Dr Pagonis, Dr Eleni, Javier, Sandra, all made my switch to this office incredible. I have never had such a positive dental experience. My family and I are extremely pleased with the switch to this office and have recommended it to a few friends. I used to hate going to the dentist, but now I don't mind going at all! High quality all around. Dr P and team have our hearts!!

Dr. Pagonis and her staff are amazing so professional and make you feel so comfortable. Everything so so clean and high tech with screens at each chair to show you X-rays and pictures to go over at the appointment. The staff is helpful energetic and on top of everything!! So happy with my dental work Always have the best cleanings the staff is great and so welcoming. Nice to look forward to seeing the dentist!

I want to share my experience, because it's so out of sync with the glowing reviews (which is what got me to Pagonis when I was looking for a dentist). My first appointment, I was told we were just going to talk and then I'd come back for a cleaning and I was like, whaat? They blamed my assistant. (But then did a cleaning.) I took that with a grain of salt even though I questioned it. And they fixed it, so, fine. My second appointment was scheduled for January 6th. On January 1st I got a "confirm your appointment link" but when I showed up, the appointment was cancelled. I was told they "had called me" because they had been cancelling appointments "for weeks" because of sickness. Then why did I get a confirm my appointment link, I asked. Oh we had hoped it would be better by now. And while I was there, I checked my missed calls, no such thing. To which they said, oh read aloud the phone number and she retyped it in. But here's the thing. No text nor email arrived. There are three ways to contact me. At the office, I asked, did you text me? And they said they "didn't have the number". So by the time I got home, i texted them, in response to a prior text. They definitely had my number. They definitely had my email. And there was no record of a missed call. I dunno if this is an anomaly. I hope it's not. I just got a "confirm my appointment" link this morning for a cleaning. We'll see what happens when I show up. While the dentist might be great (certainly the cleaning was good), I am not a fan yet. If you make a mistake, make a mistake and then learn from it. But don't tell the customer stuff that denies responsibility. (One last note, I see a note from Dr. Pagonis' staff below asking if I'd like to talk about their process. I see this is well-intentioned. However it doesn't address the issue I'm raising. My time was not well used. And so, no, I have no interest in talking about that. Because it's not a good use of my time. I want to have a great experience getting my teeth taken care of, and I want your internal process adjusted (if need be) so experiences like this don't happen to others. And by-the-by, when I make a mistake, I want to ask, how can I make it right. I might send a personal note, or flowers, or give a starbucks gift card. Something to say, ya know that was bad on us, let us make it up to you.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Pagonis and her team for four years since we moved to Los Gatos. Before my first visit, my teeth were in poor shape. I was fortunate to find Dr. Pagonis when I was in pain from cavities as her staff scheduled my appointment just two days after my call. Since my first visit to her dental office, I felt very welcomed by her staff. She not only examined my teeth very carefully but also explained to me well about all the details of the results every time. When I needed to get crowns for the front teeth she provided several options. We worked on the plans together to lower the cost while considering the overall fitness and aesthetics of the teeth. I was so impressed with Dr. Pagonis' excellent dental skills. Her assistants Javier and Lauren have been doing wonderful work with Dr. P on filling my cavities and placing the crowns. Her dental hygienists Amy and Danni always take time to check and clean my teeth thoroughly and help me to maintain the best dental conditions. My teeth never looked better and healthier since then. I did not develop any new cavities in the last two years thanks to all the care and knowledge I received from Dr. Pagonis and her staff!

Dr P. is great. I had a lot of work done with her, and she made sure I was not in pain. She adjusted throughout to make sure I was ok. Not only does she and her team take care of you, we always end up laughingat something eveytime I see her.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Pagonis for just a short while after relocating from Australia where we had a fantastic dentist. We were worried initially with a new, unknown dentist, but could not be more pleased with the quality of the staff, the care of Dr. Pagonis and the efficiency of the office processes for payments and scheduling. It could be the medication talking (just kidding), as I just had a procedure done a few hours ago at her office, but I'd highly recommend Dr. Pagonis to anyone looking for a top-notch, kind, gentle and skilled dentist. So do yourself and your teeth a favor and drop into Dr. P's place soon to meet the team & treat those pearly whites right.

All of their steps for protecting against the spread of COVID 19 are top notch and I have felt very safe and comfortable with every visit. Dr. Pagonis and her staff are top notch! I was fortunate to find Dr. Pagonis when I moved to a new neighborhood. I was hesitant to go to a new dentist after having a bad experience with a prior one but within minutes of my first visit, I knew I was in good hands. She is a stellar professional who sincerely cares about her patients. Since Dr. Pagonis has been treating me, my oral health has been excellent and I know she will always give me the best advice and will take a conservative approach. Not only has she helped me but also my mom who has had many problems. Her office staff - from Dawn to Amy to Javier and everyone else - is like a family and always greets patients with a big smile (even through masks!). I feel fortunate and am grateful to have Dr. Pagonis as my dentist.

Amy is an amazing dental hygienist. I am 5 months pregnant and was super nervous because I haven't been taking care of to teeth like is should because of morning sickness. She really took the time to clean my teeth well and made sure I was ok during the entire process of cleaning! Mandy at the front desk is also awesome! Very thorough and super helpful! It's difficult to find dentist office's that are not only professional, kind, and very understanding when it comes to visits. Dr. P's staff is all of the above and more!

Dr P is hands down the best dentist EVER. She and her staff are incredibly talented and take excellent care of my teeth and gums. They have a great sense of humor that makes the time fun and fly by. Her office made the shift into COVID seamlessly - regulating how many people can enter the office, temperature checks, hand sanitizer - the list goes on. I have always felt safe there and appreciate the extra care she and her team are taking. Highly recommended!

Dr. P and her staff are always friendly and welcoming. I usually don't like going to the dentist, but this place is different. No matter what type of procedure I'm in for, there is never any pain during the procedure. If you don't like needles, Dr. P is a magician with lidocaine injections. Never feel a thing.
