Dr. Richard Mounce is originally from Portland, Oregon. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Santa Clara. He attended Northwestern Dental School for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating in 1985, before earning his Certificate in Endodontics from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1991. He has many years of experience in both private practice and as a clinical and staff endodontist.

Dr. Mounce has published articles in a number of global publications and has lectured extensively in both the United States and abroad, giving presentations in Japan, Nepal, Cambodia, Russia, Canada, Korea, England, Mexico, Portugal, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Poland, Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Spain, Jordan, Bulgaria, Serbia, Singapore, Philippines, Brazil, and India.

Abbie was born and raised in South Florida. She was inspired by a Coast Guard dentist to pursue a career in dental hygiene while she served in the U.S. Coast Guard in Kodiak, AK. After completing her service in the Coast Guard, she returned to her native Florida, where in 1993 she graduated from Tallahassee Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She went on to serve in the U.S. Naval Reserve while simultaneously working as a dental hygienist and completing a bachelors degree in business management from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She married her husband, Mike, in 1994 and continued to serve our country as he completed a career as a U.S. Army officer. Abbie continued to work as a dental hygienist and raised two wonderful sons, Caleb and Collin, as the Army took the family around the country. Until 2012, home was where the Army sent them. They are now proud to have chosen Alaska as their home. Abbie believes that oral health is the gateway to the overall health and enjoys empowering her patients in their healthy living pursuits. She enjoys hiking the beautiful Alaskan mountains, Schutzhund training with her two German Shepherd dogs, being a football mom, and engaging in cross-fit training.

Alicia has been working in the field of dentistry for more than two decades. She attended the University of Central Washington for general undergraduate studies and graduated with honors from UAA with her associate degree in dental hygiene. She has over 235 hours of continuing education.

Alicia was born in Alaska and was raised in both Anchorage and Palmer. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 23 years. They have two sons. The oldest attended college at University at Alaska Fairbanks, the youngest is attending Palmer High School.

She enjoys spending her summers working with her husband and being with her family at their commercial fishing site on Kalgin Island in Cook Inlet. In the winter you might find her at their Lake Louise cabin, where she cross-country skis and catches up on her reading.

Lindsay was born and raised in Snowflake, Arizona. She discovered her love for dentistry at a young age as she became a dental assistant while in high school. She continued her education at Northern Arizona University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene.

Lindsay spent ten years in Denver, Colorado, before moving to Alaska in the fall of 2011. Lindsays passion for dentistry is in the area of education. She loves seeing positive behavior changes occur with the opportunity to receive education. Dentistry is ever-changing, and keeping our patients informed is her goal.

Sheryl Loan comes to our office with over two decades of hygiene experience. Sheryl was born in Idaho and moved to Alaska as a child. After moving outside and living in California and New Mexico, she and her husband came back to Alaska in 1982.

Sheryl graduated with honors from UAA with her degree in dental hygiene in 1986. After settling in Eagle River and starting her family here, she is pleased to be living and working in Eagle River. She and her husband have three children, Kyle, Kinsey, and Alex. All of them graduated from Chugiak High School. Their oldest son entered the Marine Corp in 2011, their daughter attends Alaska Pacific University, and their youngest son is a freshman at University of Alaska Anchorage.

Sheryl and her family all enjoy biking, cross-country skiing, and hiking. Sheryl especially enjoys interacting with her patients. She tries to incorporate exercise and good general health into their oral health plan.

Stacy has been working with Dr. Land since 2004 and was a pleasant addition to the staff at Eagle Summit Dental Group. Stacy was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and spent some time living in Palm Desert, California.

She moved to Alaska in 1987 and continued her career in dental assisting. In 1995 she graduated from University of Alaska, Anchorage with her associate degree in dental hygiene. Stacy and her husband, Gary, have lived in Eagle River since 1996. They have one son, Deven. Stacy volunteers at her church assisting in childrens ministry, and became a den leader for her sons cub scout troop in 2008. Stacys hobbies include hiking, cooking, biking, losing her keys, and making people laugh.

Once nicknamed Boss of Floss, through humor and lightheartedness, she encourages her patients to become an active participant in their oral and systemic health. Stacy educates patients to help them achieve optimal oral health.

Kirsten has been part of our team since March 2013. Shes a lifelong Alaskan and grew up in Eagle River. She graduated from Chugiak high School in 2010 and attended Assist to Succeed shortly after. When shes not working, she loves spending time outdoors and traveling.

Sandra is from Lithuania. She is married to a member of the United States Air Force and spent 11 years living and traveling in Europe. They moved to Alaska a couple of years ago and have being enjoying the natural beauty and all of the outdoor activities.

Sandra had a lifelong goal to work in the dental field and completed her certification from the Assist to Succeed program in 2014. Sandra loves to greet patients with a smile and enjoys when the patients leave with a smile on their face. She helps the dentists provide the best dental care with up-to-date procedures and equipment. In her free time she loves to travel, work in her garden, camp, and play chess.

I was born in Sitka, Alaska. Most of my childhood was spent on the boats fishing and going camping with my grandparents. I love hiking and being outdoors. Winter or summer I love Alaska all year round!

My Career in Dental started at the Alaska Native Medical Center through South Central Foundation. I assisted there for almost two years. From there I branched out and eventually found a wonderful clinic closer to home in Eagle River!

Amory was born and raised in Eagle River. She received her bachelors degree in elementary and special education at Northern Arizona University, and taught middle school in Anchorage for four years. She has been happily married to Dr. Sanders since 1993. They have three wonderful children attending high school and college. Amory loves to spend time reading a good book, traveling to new places, and hiking around this beautiful state.

Angie was born and raised in Eagle River, Alaska. She attended college at University of Anchorage, Alaska, and at Montana State University in Bozeman. Angie met her husband, Don, in King Salmon, where they worked for many years. They have three boys, who enjoy fishing and rafting as a family.

Angie has a love for running and can be found running in the mountains or on the trails. She coaches Kidz Running, a summer program through Healthy Futures. She enjoys yoga and hiking in her free time. Angie is blessed to live in a community she loves and be around her family and friends.

Tina was born in Cannonville, Oregon, and she lived in Oregon and Washington during her childhood. In 1981 she graduated from high school in Coquille, Oregon, and then enrolled in Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls. She moved to Alaska in 1983 working as a pharmacy technician at Longs Drug Stores, where she met her husband, Wayne. They were married in Kona, Hawaii, in 1993. Their son, Jeffery, graduated in 2012 from Chugiak High School. They have one beloved German Shepard named Nova.

Tina attended UAA, earning her certificate as a dental assistant in 1990. She has worked for over 25 years in the dental field as an assistant in general practice, orthodontics, and front office management.

She enjoys bowling, camping, hiking, biking, skiing, both alpine and cross country. They are avid Seattle Seahawks fans! She loves living in Chugiak and the small-town experience. She is grateful for getting the opportunity to work in Eagle River with a great group of people who are fun, friendly, and professional.
