Dr. Daniel A. Nickles is a South Carolina native who grew up in the Upstate. Originally from Belton, Dr. Nickles attended Emory University and majored in Chemistry and Economics. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from MUSC in 1991. Dr. Nickles completed his clinical rotation at Emory University with a special Oral surgery Externship at Grady Hospital in Georgia. Dr. Nickles has been recognized for his excellence in dentistry by the American Academy of Periodontics. He has been in practice at the same location in the Lake Forest Shopping Center for 30 years.
Dr. Nickles is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentist. In his free time Dr. Nickles enjoys spending time with his four children; Delayne, Daniel Adam, James, and Chloe. He also enjoys working on cars, boating and playing guitar.
Dr. Nickles is an active member of his church and often engages in community service. He has spent time in the community speaking to childrens groups and treating special needs cases. You can see Dr. Nickles out and about in Greenville with his children. He has been a guest speaker at Furman University and loves Greenville, SC and really loves his patients and helping his community. He has dedicated his life to Dentistry and is looking forward to serving Greenville for many more years!

Hi, I'm Dr. Daniel Nickles let me be the first to welcome you to our dental office. I have practiced in the same location for 30 years and I love what I do, dentistry is my ministry. I love spending time with my 4 children Delayne, Daniel Adam, James, Chloe, playing guitar, shooting skeet and fencing. No matter how long it has been since your last dental visit, we will never judge you or make you feel ashamed.
Starr is originally from Georgia. She is a dedicated employee and she recently moved back to Georgia. She loves raising her son Bronx on her family's farm in Georgia. She has worked with Dr. Daniel Nickles for over 20 years and make dentistry a lot of fun.

Nickles Dental Oral Surgery & Family Dentistry is THE place to go. Crystal was the most helpful receptionist I've ever spoken with. I told her how much pain I was in and she was so understanding! She helped me find the best financial option and walked me through every step so I could get my surgery ASAP. She got me in the very next day! Dr. Nickles was also very awesome. He was funny and you could tell he knew what he was doing.

This is the second time I have been here and Dr. Nickles is great for people who are terrified of the dentist. He kept me laughing and before I knew it he had already deaden my mouth. I would have normally used sedation. Very patient and understanding of your needs. I appreciate everyone there for making me feel comfortable.

I have to say I'm super impressed! I have been TERRIFIED of the dentist for as long as I can remember. Crystal is super friendly and welcoming. Star is an absolute joy and Dr. Nichols was so friendly and so honest. I have never felt so comfortable with an office before. I don't feel judged and they definitely give off a family vibe and they truly want the best for patients. I WILL continue to come here as long as I can and will even ask to get my husband in. The whole office is down to earth and I couldn't be happier with all services I have received. Regardless of what you may need done.. this IS THE PLACE. I can't thank them enough for all of their kindness and hospitality. I will recommend them to anyone who will listen!

Came here to get an emergency extraction last Monday and the staff was very nice. I had no appointment but they managed to squeeze me in and get me out of that horrible pain. Thanks again to the staff and Dr.

I don't even know where to start. Except that live in SOUTH FLORIDA and traveled 1500 miles round trip 2x to go to Dr. Nickles and My teeth were infected, and diseased and needed immediate attention. I was TERRIFIED of the dentist. I was in tears from fear. Dr.Nickles cleaned me up, got the infection under control and made a plan. It involved full extraction of all teeth and dentures, then implants if I wanted .. we did the extraction and fitted me for dentures. I had all my teeth pulled and felt ZERO pain after surgery, I mean ZERO. I took my dentures home and lived with them for 6 months while my mouth and jaw healed up in preparation for the implants. I was scheduled to get implants on 8/4/22 and what we discovered upon cat scan was that there was not enough bone in the upper jaw to do it safely, so we decided to REFIT the dentures for my mouth now that the swelling went down. BOY what a difference the refit made. I don't even need denture glue now, they're incredible and so is Dr Nickles and his staff.. they're amazing. I'm no longer terrified of the dentist. I even walk in with a smile now, and it's a smile I'm proud of. Words can't describe how awesome Dr. Nickles is...

Wow what a wonderful place! My son had an emergency and needed a root canal. Crystal worked him in and my son is now pain free thanks to Dr Nickles. Dr Nickles is kind, caring and just top notch. My son had no pain at all during the procedure or after. I highly recommend Dr Nickles. He and his staff are just the best.

A Wonderful place. Treated me good and did not dismissed me like a bunch of other dental places did because of my breathing problems . They did my deep cleaning and my tooth extraction. Affordable prices and professional with a great staff. As a diabetic my sugar levels was very hard to control and every since they worked on my mouth my sugar levels are great. It's nice to know I have somewhere i can go to get my teeth done and not be rejected. I would recommend this place x100. :-)

Dr.Nickles and his staff are amazing!!! I had an accident that led to me having full dentures. I went to Dr.Nickles to see if it was possible for the bottom dentures to become snap in. Not only did he take the time to show me the Cat Scans of my mouth, he explained the whole process, he was honest and uses the top quality implants. I could not be more grateful! He is in the Oral surgery and Dentistry profession to help his parents!!! I highly recommend him!!!

In the time of an oral emergency, Dr. Nickles and his blessed staff welcomed me with open arms. This experience wasn't like anything that I've ever experienced before. Dr. Nickles and his team showed empathy, took time to educate me, created a plan, even the injections were almost painless. My entire family will now be patients of Dr. Nickles. I felt like I was amongst family. Dr. Nickles and his team are Godly vessels. There isn't a better dentistry out there!

This was the best dental experience I have ever had in my life! I was told by another dentist that after waiting all weekend in pain that my roots were too deep and he couldn't do it, and that I would have to go to an oral surgeon... I called Dr Nickels and he not only squeezed me in the very next morning, but also got my tooth out effortlessly without any cutting! I am moving to Florida in a week but will drive back to South Carolina just for Dr Nickels to do my dental work!

Please don't traumatizing the kids. Our 8 years boy had the worst experience ever at the dentist. He couldn't sleep all night after the shock. He might need physiological treatment now. As a specialist you have to know how to take a tooth out and the patient to feel as less pain as possible. I still keep in mind the image how me and the assistant hold the child and dr Nik was taken yhe tooth out. That's incredible, I did my worst and wrong decision ever to go to that office. I don't find words to describe the pain I suffered seeng my child how is screaming from the pain caused by the doctor.

FOLLOW UP THURSDAY, 04/07/2022 I have never felt so comfortable in a dentist office. From the time you enter that office until the time you leave the respect you are handed is remarkable. Great job as always guys. BTW, the situation that I had seems to be corrected. Thank you as always! Bruce FOLLOW UP TODAY, MONDAY, 11/08/2021 Still danged awesome office folk and techs and Dr. Nichols himself is a great dentist. I still highly recommend him! I would highly recommend Dr. Nickle's and his staff for any dental treatment you would need. He has an excellent staff and they are able to treat any dental need that I have had with professional, courteous and expertise service.
