As a Mississippi native, Dr. Nichols received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi, followed by a Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree from the University of Mississippi in 1994. He ranked first in his class and was a recipient of the Wallace V. Mann Academic Achievement Award. While at UMC School of Dentistry, he became a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.
Dr. Nichols obtained his Medical Degree from the highly respected University of Alabama. After completing a general surgery internship, he continued his studies in Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama, currently one of the top programs in the United States. Following his residency, Dr. Nichols moved to Flowood, Mississippi to begin his oral and facial surgery practice.
In his private practice, Dr. Nichols has an appreciation for the broad scope of oral and facial surgery. His training has prepared him to comprehensively diagnose and treat the hard and soft tissues of the face and its supporting structures. Dr. Nichols is committed to providing the utmost care for the patients that entrust him with their surgical desires.
