Away from the office, Dr. Eklund loves spending time with his wife, baby daughter, and two dogs, Awbrey and Allie. Hes also an avid fan of all Arizona sports teams, especially the ASU Sun Devils. His hobbies include playing golf, DIY projects, and eating Buffalo wings or eggs Benedict.
'I have been involved with the dental world since 2010. I have 3 years of experience as a dental assistant and 7 years of experience as a business assistant. I truly believe in the saying 'your smile is my success'. I have a beautiful family of 4 daughters, my husband and our 2 dogs. In our down time we indulge in crafts, hunting, camping, exploring- UTV riding, horseback riding, and being active in numerous sports with our daughters. I am a native to the beautiful state of Arizona of 31 years and couldn 't imagine living in any other state! I look forward to growing within our community and helping others love their smiles!'
'Damariz (Dama) is an Arizona Native. She attended Northern Arizona University and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Her goal is to provide exceptional care for her patients with compassion and positivity. Damariz is committed to making sure your dental needs are met and you maintain good oral health.
Tiffany has been in the dental field for about 10 years. She worked as a dental assistant in several different specialty offices for 5 years in the state of NH, and has been a hygienist in Arizona for about 5 years as well. She completed college in her home state of NH at NHTI and upon graduating moved out to Arizona to begin her career as a hygienist. Although she is not from Arizona she absolutely loves it here and it is her favorite place to be. Her favorite part of dentistry is making it a good experience for all her patients, as well as giving them all a reason to smile. She loves to hike, bike, swim, take her dogs on walks, and generally anything else outdoors. She loves animals and enjoys taking her two dogs on her outdoor adventures. She also has a cat and two boa constrictor snakes at home as well. Dentistry is a true passion of hers and you will be in good hands when in her chair.
I graduated college with my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene with Magna Cum Laude honors from Herzing University in Minnesota. I am licensed in both states and can administer local anesthetic and provide laser periodontal services to achieve optimal health. I also stay current on new technologies, hygiene products and attend continuing education classes regularly.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We have been having so much fun exploring Arizona. Some of our favorite things are boating, hiking, trying new restaurants and meeting people like YOU! I hope to see you soon!'
Tanya is an Arizona Native, but she grew up in a small town called Angel Fire, NM. Tanya moved back to Arizona in 2014. She has worked in the Veterinary industry most of her life and recently switched to dentistry where she joined our team here at Cotton Ridge Dental Care. She is excited to learn everything dental and cannot wait to meet you. When Tanya is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. They love anything outdoors and enjoy spending their time at the lake wake surfing, camping, hunting and hanging out with family and friends.
Mistie left Anchorage, Alaska where she was born and raised in January 2019 to explore our beautiful country. She has been in the dental profession for 20 years and has worked in many areas of the field. She loves to socialize with the patients and make them feel comfortable. When she is not working, she loves to travel and be outdoors with family, friends and her 2 fur babies.
