Dr. Papageorgiou has dedicated his professional career to providing his patientswith the best that dentistry has to offer. He is continually educating himself and his staff on the newest dental techniques and approaches in order to provide state-of-the-art, personalized and comfortabledental care.
Traci has been working alongside Dr. Papageorgiou since 2003. She has been working in the dental field since 1989 and is the core of our office. She takes pride in helping our patients with any questions they may have regarding their treatment plan, insurance or financial needs. She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband and children. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with friends at MVYC. On weekends during the warmer months, you can find Traci and her family relaxing on their boat, Southern Comfort.
Marlene was welcomed as an addition to our office in August 2018. She has settled in well and is making a flawless transition into dentistry from sales. She loves to interact with our patients and make the dental experience as great as possible. Marlene enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
Vivien enjoys helping others and giving back to her community. She graduated from the University of Virginia and continued her education to become a registered dental hygienist. She prides herself on providing thorough and gentle care to her patients. In her free time, she enjoys knitting and traveling.
As a dental hygienist Vanessa enjoys working with her patients to improve their oral health. She is dedicated to providing her patients with a comfortable dental experience. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and then went on to become a registered dental hygienist. She has a self professed sweet tooth and enjoys baking in her free time.

The worst dentist in the area. Used the insurance scheme to do work that was not needed I have been in constant pain since my visit over a year ago. I would not recommend this dentist. She is not knowledgeable and almost seems like she is guessing when she is working. Constantly asking if what she is is doing is okay or painful as if she knows she is not qualified. She should lose her license and not be practicing anymore.

I have been a patient of Dr. Papageorgiou for a number of years now, coming in twice a year for my cleanings and one emergency visit. Overall, they have all been positive experiences. Dr. Papageorgiou is the only practicing dentist is the office, so don't expect him to spend time with you chit chatting small stuff. I know nothing about him other than he is Greek. Having said that, he is nice and doesn't try to push you to do unnecessary treatments. He is excellent at addressing emergency concerns. For dental cleaning, Vanessa is amazing. My teeth felt like porcelain after my last dental cleaning. She is friendly and very thorough. I did have one hiccup with billing, but that was quickly resolved. I highly recommend Sterling Dental Care.

Dr. Papageorgiou has always been a great dentist, but he went the extra mile when he met me in his office on a Sunday morning after I had a crown fall out. It's that extra commitment to his patients that makes him so special.

I was referred to Dr. P and sterling dental care by someone who has been going to him for years after I'd had a BAD dental experience only a few weeks back (overpriced, seemed like a factory and not taking proper COVID precautions IMHO). Figured I'd give him a shot as I needed work done. I transferred my x-rays over to his office and in all honesty, I've never had a better dental experience. His office is nice, clean and every precaution is taken for COVID. As a practice, I found the fees reasonable and the staff accommodating. As a dentist, Dr. P is pleasant and puts you at ease. He is professional and personable. He doesn't rush and takes time to explain. I am so glad I can get the dental work I need done while being treated fairly (not fleeced bc I have insurance) and feeling confident in my dentist, his practices and his skills. Thank you so much Dr. Papageorgiou. I will recommend you to anyone and everyone!

I came to Dr. Papageorgiou under a not so pleasant situation. Although he was not obligated to treat me, he did so graciously. Words cannot express my gratitude. His professionalism displayed by him and his staff is top notch. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist but he made me comfortable and most of importantly ,the treatment was pain free. Great customer service, excellent work worth your money is very hard to find. Dr. Papageorgiou is someone I would highly recommend (and have) and return to without question. Thank you again. I'm not sure why this hasn't posted !!! I wrote this over 2 years ago!
