Dr. Gih was amazing, I had a wisdom tooth extracted along with a chipped front tooth fixed and let me just say the entire procedure was quick and painless. I highly recommend Dr. Gih for all your dental needs. I would lastly like to thank Sabrina for answering all of my questions and making me feel welcome which means a lot being a first time patient. Thanks again Sabrina!

Excellent service from all staff! Dr. Gih is very thorough with the work he does! My 6 year old daughter also feels very comfortable coming to him!

I can honestly say Im not afraid of going to the dentist anymore. I had some BAD experiences but, this Doctor actually made me feel comfortable. He was actually pretty quick and gentle. I don't have any hesitation to schedule my next visit. The staff is also great. They are kind and provided me with the information I needed. Special thanks to the little lady in the front desk (Alma). She made my visit quick and easy. It wasn't a headache and confusion as I had with other offices. Overall I would definitely recommend this office to others!

Today I met Dr Gih and his staff for the first time. I can honestly say, it was a SIX star experience in every way!! Thank you Dr Gih and staff for your professionalism, knowledge and taking the time to answer all of my questions and concerns without my feeling rushed. I'm so relieved my dentist search is over.

Had a horrible traumatic accident that led to my front two teeth being chipped. Made an appointment with Dr. Gih and it was the best decision ever! I felt safe coming into the practice because all staff members were practicing great physical distancing and really took COVID precautions. Alma helped make the check in process as a new patient very seamless. I must say Dr. Gih is the most gentle and personable dentist I've had. I had my front two teeth filled and he really took the time to color match, shape, and perfect my teeth. Frankly, it looks better than before my injury. Dr. Gih was extremely professional when presenting my treatment options, and taking the time to educate me what to look out for after the traumatic experience. While he considered my cosmetic concerns, he also focused on the general health of my teeth. The entire visit was so pleasant, I'm definitely having my family switch to this practice! P.S., their playlist is on point with oldies but goodies hahaha

I have been coming here for a couple years now, and just thought I would finally write a review. Dr Gih has always been honest and good at explaining everything to me. At my last appointment I came in for a cleaning and was set up with Lisa. She was very easy to get along with and made the cleaning a breeze. I was little nervous about coming during this covid thing but I felt a lot better about things knowing that Dr. Gih and his staff are doing everything to keep us as safe and they can. They have hand sanitizer in a few spots, air purifiers, had me wait in my car until they could bring me straight in, they did a screening and temp check as well.

With dental hygiene matter under the COVID-19 pandemic in place, my wife and I are very cautious to get out the house due to our age group in the high risk categories. We have been visiting Dr. Gih offices for quite a few years. Our mouths are telling us that we need to get dental check-up and cleaning done. We called into Dr. Gih's office and arrange appointments for my wife and I. We were told that there will not have contacts with any patients. We arrived on our scheduled appointments. I first met with the new hygienist, Lisa. She is very sweet and kind. I chatted with her like we knew each other for a long time. While my wife went to another room to get ready. I noticed all the protocols of ADA's COVID-19 recommendations are in placed. Before we walked in, there is a table with sanitizer and mask requirements posted. I watch Lisa to walk me through the new procedures in placed and showed how much cares and made me very comfortable to our visits. She told me every chairs are immediately sanitized by the dental assistants when the patient leave. She will be the only person with me. She has all the PPE and sanitized instrumental in bag. As soon I was done, Dr. Gih came in to exam my teeth. I saw him replaced his gloves while he walked in . He found no changes in my dental health , that's great! I went out to the waiting area. My wife came out later with a great smile on her face. She comments that she felt so safe with all the extra precautions were in place. As soon as we walked out to our car. I noticed that another patent arrived for his/her dental visit. It appeared that Dr. Gih really wanted his patients to feel safe to avoid another patient as much as possible. Thank you to Dr. Gih and Lisa and the rest of the office staff to make us feel comfortable and safe . Thank you Dr. Nicholas Gih and your wonderful caring staff

I recently went to Dr G's office for a check up and cleaning. Everything went really well. They were able to send the forms beforehand through email, so checking at the appointment was quick and easy. Alma the front desk assistant was easy to talk to and was helpful in explaining how my insurance worked. Everything checked out ok and Dr. Gih was great at pointing out two areas for us to keep an eye on going forward. Overall great experience, and I am happy I found a good dentist.

I love Dr. Gih! Who says that about their dentist? I do, because he does top notch work!! But beyond that, he's cool as a fan. He's the perfect blend of California causal and military discipline. That's probably because he is former military and it shows. It shows in his practical approach and in him being a straight shooter. I think what is most impressive about Dr. Gih however, is his attention to detail. He's incredibly conscientious and can spot a problem before you will. He's like an investigator, making assessments, asking questions and giving you honest advice on next steps or remedies. He will not tell you what you WANT to hear, he will only tell you what you NEED to hear and what is honest. You may not like it, but I haven't found him to be wrong or inaccurate yet. He's analytical and logical and applies that to how he approaches his work. He will explain the "why" and establish the "how" based upon your individual mouth structure, tooth positions, bad habits, etc. Another great quality about Dr. Gih is that he does not try and "up sell" you. I've taken good care of my teeth, have a couple of silver fillings and that's nearly it. He has never suggested I swap out my fillings or do stuff I don't need; do you know how rare that is?!? He recognized the care I put into my teeth, matched that and also believes "less is more", keep what you have in good condition and don't go fixing things that aren't broken! That's a rarity. If you want a meticulous, smart, analytical and laid back dentist, Dr. Gih is your guy. The reason I keep coming back to his "laid back" style is because that's important if you experience anxiety when going to the dentist. His easy energy will help to put you at ease. As you can see, I can't say enough great things about him. I met him after another dentist applied a replacement filling on my front tooth and told me not to bite into anything with my front teeth, ever. It broke four times, enter Dr. Gih, he assessed my bite, made the proper adjustments to my teeth, and the new filling hasn't broken since; that was probably five years ago. I've been "Team Gih!" since. Do yourself a favor and get on his team. He is a gem. He will not disappoint. But do me a favor, not too many of you ok cause I need my spot!

I'm a bit hesitant writing this review...why? Because if everyone knew how phenomenal this place was, there would be a line out the door to the street. Ever since growing up, I regularly visited the dentist. Although it was never a pleasurable experience, I still went twice a year. My uncle was actually my dentist growing up, throughout the years I have also tried a few other dentists recommended by friends, family and even my insurance company. None of them ever came close to the meticulous care my uncle did on my teeth. A few years ago, unfortunately, my uncle retired from this industry due to age...this left me with one big fear. Will I ever find a dentist as good as he was? I tried at least 6-7 other dentists before finding Dr. Gih and his entire staff in cozy downtown Claremont, right in the village. Admittedly, when you see where his office is located, your first instinct is that this will not be a cheap visit! Let me tell you, whether you're paying out of pocket or going through insurance, Dr. Gih is one of the most reasonably priced dentist out I have ever met and his work surpasses any dentist I have ever gone to in my entire life. Meticulous, professional, patient and gentle. From the moment you schedule your appointment with the courteous people that answer the phones, to the friendly reminder the day before your appointment, you feel welcomed even before you step into this beautiful office. Their entire staff and office feels welcoming and inviting and they make you feel as comfortable as they possibly can from the moment you step in to the moment you leave. Dr. Gih is a dentist that works to maintain a lifelong relationship, not a one and done type deal. Of course, we can all say that our dentist is inviting, friendly and has a nice office. But, here is where the line is drawn. Dr. Gih is one of the most honest, dentist out there. I cannot tell you how many times I have referred someone to Dr. Gih to get a second opinion and they walked out of his office saving, hundreds if not thousands and become a lifelong patient. Dr. Gih is not out to do unnecessary jobs or operations. If you don't need it, you simply don't need it. We truly need more practitioners like this in the industry, not those that care about their bottom line or bank account. You will get genuine opinions, not up-sells. I cannot reiterate enough, throughout every visit I have ever had, Dr. Gih has been meticulous, patient and will frequently make sure you are comfortable. Both Dr. Gih and his staff are gentle and will never make you feel uncomfortable. These are truly nice people here and I cannot give them enough praise. Even if I ever move out of the area, I will still drive hours to come here. I have friends and family that do so, and that in itself, says a lot. I highly recommend anyone giving Dr. Gih a try, whether its for a long overdue dentist visit, or just getting a second opinion, you won't be disappointed. They also take all types of insurance as well. What more can you ask for, genuinely nice people, a conveniently located office, honesty, affordable if you're paying out of pocket and lastly, accepts a variety of insurances. Phenomenal!

Just had a deep cleaning done a few hours ago. Stephanie was great! She did a good job explaining everything in ways I could understand. I havent gotten the deep cleaning that I needed in 10 years (literally) because I was so traumatized the first time. This time it went smoothly. No pain this time! I have the other half of my mouth to do next week and looking forward to my next visit, instead of thinking of an excuse not to come. Nick runs a great office. Welcoming staff. Highly recommend it here.
