Dr. Rizos is a perennial student of the dental profession, as he believes the learning process is a fluid element of any profession. That is why he takes part in intensive continuing education to further his craft, completing well above and beyond what is required of him throughout the year. In addition, he was appointed as a Clinical Instructor at Tufts Dental School in 2013, where he continues to teach one evening per week while maintaining his private practice. He has routinely been selected as a Top Dentist by his colleagues in the annual New Hampshire Magazine polls. He is most honored of the 2006 and 2007 polls that only listed the top 5 vote-getters!
He was elected to the Pierre Fauchard Honor Academy in 2001. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Manchester Dental Society (Past President), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, New England Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Team for Implantology (ITI), and the Dawson Alumni Association. He is past Secretary and Board Member of Priority Dental Health, Inc., a direct reimbursement company that provided dental insurance in the state of New Hampshire in the 1990s and early 2000s. He participates in a Spear Education Study Club directed by Dr. Mark Hochberg, and The Granite State Study Club directed by Dr. Salman Malik.
Dr. Rizos has adult children and enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially in the great outdoors. Aside from his home life, he is passionate about dentistry. At the offices of Nicholas C Rizos DMD PLLC , we only use the highest quality materials for our crowns, made locally and in the USA, never offshore. We dont believe in limiting your material choices with in-office, same-day crowns. While they may be convenient, we prefer to offer the best quality restorations available. In addition, we utilize third-generation x-ray sensors that emit the lowest amount of radiation possible combined with the highest level of clarity. For cleanings, our Registered Dental Hygienists use ultrasonic debriding irrigation and they also use loupe magnifiers to enhance vision and detection. Our oral tools and drills are maintained by a hospital-grade sterilization system using Triangle cabinetry, and our sterilizer is monitored regularly by an outside independent service to make sure our instruments are as sterile as possible.

This is really frustrating getting dental appointments. They have appointments after 3-4 month which makes me think what kinda world we are now . Isn't it supposed to be like 1 -2 weeks??? Like other big cities. They been saying short of staff since so many years which is really a joke. Don't waste your time coming here and asking for appointments.

I had an excellent initial visit yesterday. Dr. Nick took a lot of time to get to know me and talk through my dental issues. Everything felt personally tailored to me and very transparent. I really like that. Plus the hygienist Meg and Lynda at the desk couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming and helpful.

A really impressive first visit. The before-visit prep was thorough and easily completed online, so I walked in and went straight into the chair. The staff was courteous, professional, and efficient. Great attention to hygiene in the facility and by everyone with which I interacted. I really appreciated the thorough examination, documentation, and explanation I received during the visit. Dr. Rizos made me feel that I was a valued participant in the planning of my dental care. I actually look forward to going back!

12/8/2021: Finishing another year of working with the fine team at Dr. Rizos office. Top notch professional team and they take great care of all your dental needs. I feel I am in very competent hands that are taking care of my dental care. Would strongly recommend 10/15/2020 - I continue to be impressed by the professionalism and service provided by the great staff at Dr Rizos. During the COVID pandemic, they have reopened when allowed and have a great protocol set up to protect their patients and staff. AND continue to give the same professional service. Dr. Nick, Robin, and all his staff are fantastic. Friendly, caring, knowledgeable and very professional. They have helped put a plan for the health of my teeth that has resulted in me being in better shape dentally speaking.

I enjoyed my first time visit with Nicholas C Rizos, DMD and his entire staff. They were very professional in how they interact with the patient. Dr. Rizos listens to his patients and is then able to diagnose their problem and prescribe the proper care needed. He uses the latest technology in treating his patient. There were procedures he did that I had not seen with other dentist like checking for oral cancer and using a tiny camera to take snapshots of my teeth and then pointing out in each photo where they might be a potential problem i.e., a cavity I was not aware of. I felt very comfortable with both Dr. Rizos, and his hygienist Meghan and I look forward to my next visit.
