Not all pediatric dentists are certified by American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). The ABPD certifies pediatric dentists based on standards of excellence that lead to high-quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs. Certification by the ABPD provides assurance to the public that a pediatric dentist has successfullycompleted accredited training and a voluntary 2-part examination process designed to continually validate the knowledge, skills, and experience requisite to the delivery of quality patient care. A pediatric dentist certified by ABPD is also known as a Diplomate of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
When Dr. Nia is not practicing dentistry she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and practice partner, Dr. Farshid Nia, their son and daughter and a Shih Tzu named Leo. She also enjoys reading and walking.
With a philosophy of comprehensive care when it comes to orthodontics, Dr. Farshid Nia employs the latest techniques to achieve an ideal outcome for his patients. As a clinician who has extensive training in pediatric, general, and cosmetic dentistry he uses these respective disciplines when planning an orthodontic case to create a beautiful smile.
Dr. Nia attained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine fromNova Southeastern Universityin Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he finished first in his class and achieved membership in the elite OKU national Dental Honor Society. He continued his training atUniversity of Colorado-School of Dental Medicinein Denver, Colorado, where he received a specialty certificate in orthodontics. In this residency program, he had the opportunity to work with excellent faculties and teachers and was exposed to different treatment philosophies. Furthermore, Dr. Nia earned a Master of Science degree in Dentistry, participating in extensive research in the field of orthodontics.
When Dr. Nia is not practicing dentistry he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and practice partner, Dr. Azi Nia, their son and daughter and a Shih Tzu named Leo. He also enjoys hunting and swimming.
She has been practicing dentistry in Georgia since 2002. She has exclusively worked in pediatric dentistry since 2004. She enjoys variety; which has provided her with a wide range of experience in different clinical environments ranging from suburban areas, rural communities, to inner cities.
Dr. Ara Cho graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Specialization in Biochemistry in 2006. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA in 2010.
During her fourth year of dental school, she served as a Preclinical and Clinical Teaching Assistant. She was honored with the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Horace Wells Senior Student Award.
Dr. Cho completed two years of postgraduate residency and received a Certificate of Specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in Providence, RI in 2012. She stayed on as full-time faculty for an additional year, where she taught both pediatric dental residents and dental students.

The office is so cute and kid friendly. The staff is quick and responsive. My daughter loved her experience, which is hard to say for a dentist appointment. Would highly recommend!

I have taken my girls here for years and am 100% satisfied. My 3-year-old was very nervous today, and all the staff were extremely kind, patient, gentle and calm with her. The dental hygienist went slow with her and showed her all the equipment and explained what she'd be doing before doing anything to her mouth. When we were done, the hygienist showed my daughter all the equipment at the "big kids' chairs" and let her touch and feel what each instrument did. When we got home, my daughter said, "I'm not scared of the dentist anymore!"

Just had my daughters first dental appointment (12 mo) and the whole staff and Dr. Azy Nia could not have been more kind and welcoming. Made it a breeze for this nervous first time mom. Her office is perfectly equipped with a special evaluation room for small little ones like mine that look like a perfect playroom. It was clean and tidy - lot of bright colors so my daughter immediately felt like she was in a play area. Not rushed and took their time with her. Thanks for a really seamless first experience and making it way better than I imagined!

We truly love NIA PEDEATRICS!!!!! If you have children and are looking for a new dental practice then choose Nia hands down! Super professional, amazing environment for kids, warm and friendly staff and guess what they even let the kids choose a little toy from the gum-ball machine afterwards! And for the older kids a play area and video game area too!! It's greatttttttt! State of the art equipment! Overall clean and beautiful practice!!! WHAT CHA WAITING FOR? Go NIA, GO NIA HEYYYYYY!!!LOL

Nia Pediatric Dentristy has been an amazing experience for my daughter. We brought her for her first visit just after she turned 1 and everyone in the office is so kind and thoughtful when dealing with kids. Every visit has been very positive for us and I think this will help my daughter have a positive view of going to the dentist, rather than being afraid of the dentist. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist

Absolutely wonderful experience for my 1 year old and 3 year old. The whole staff works so well with children. When we were getting in the car to leave my 3 year old asked if she could go back in- she didn't want to leave! Highly recommend!

This place is perfect for my kids. Such incredibly sweet and kind staff who interact with the kids and are very gentle. The doctors make a point to keep the parents informed during any processes and make sure to stay in contact. If you are looking for a dentist for your kid i would definitely recommend here

I took my 9 year old daughter to Nia Dentistry for the first time and was very pleased! All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. They gave us a tour of the office and made my daughter feel very comfortable. 10/10 I would highly recommend!

My oldest has a lot of anxiety and the staff are always very kind, understanding, and helpful. Those traits also extend to my one of my other kids who's autistic. Also, the East Cobb location is always clean and inviting. I recommend them highly.
