Not all pediatric dentists are certified by American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). The ABPD certifies pediatric dentists based on standards of excellence that lead to high-quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs. Certification by the ABPD provides assurance to the public that a pediatric dentist has successfullycompleted accredited training and a voluntary 2-part examination process designed to continually validate the knowledge, skills, and experience requisite to the delivery of quality patient care. A pediatric dentist certified by ABPD is also known as a Diplomate of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
When Dr. Nia is not practicing dentistry she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and practice partner, Dr. Farshid Nia, their son and daughter and a Shih Tzu named Leo. She also enjoys reading and walking.
With a philosophy of comprehensive care when it comes to orthodontics, Dr. Farshid Nia employs the latest techniques to achieve an ideal outcome for his patients. As a clinician who has extensive training in pediatric, general, and cosmetic dentistry he uses these respective disciplines when planning an orthodontic case to create a beautiful smile.
Dr. Nia attained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine fromNova Southeastern Universityin Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he finished first in his class and achieved membership in the elite OKU national Dental Honor Society. He continued his training atUniversity of Colorado-School of Dental Medicinein Denver, Colorado, where he received a specialty certificate in orthodontics. In this residency program, he had the opportunity to work with excellent faculties and teachers and was exposed to different treatment philosophies. Furthermore, Dr. Nia earned a Master of Science degree in Dentistry, participating in extensive research in the field of orthodontics.
When Dr. Nia is not practicing dentistry he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and practice partner, Dr. Azi Nia, their son and daughter and a Shih Tzu named Leo. He also enjoys hunting and swimming.
She has been practicing dentistry in Georgia since 2002. She has exclusively worked in pediatric dentistry since 2004. She enjoys variety; which has provided her with a wide range of experience in different clinical environments ranging from suburban areas, rural communities, to inner cities.
Dr. Ara Cho graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Specialization in Biochemistry in 2006. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA in 2010.
During her fourth year of dental school, she served as a Preclinical and Clinical Teaching Assistant. She was honored with the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Horace Wells Senior Student Award.
Dr. Cho completed two years of postgraduate residency and received a Certificate of Specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in Providence, RI in 2012. She stayed on as full-time faculty for an additional year, where she taught both pediatric dental residents and dental students.

From the moment I called to schedule my appointment I felt very welcomed by Citlali. She was very friendly and kind. Sara was AMAZING and very helpful throughout my entire orthodontics consultation. She went above and beyond at my appointment. Dr. Nia was very informative, educated and kind when explaining his treatment plan. Highly recommend this office for any adults needing orthodontic care!

Today I showed up with my three boys for cleanings and x-rays. I have NO complaints, this place is very nice! The customer service representatives, the friendly staff on the floor, and even the environment was absolutely amazing! My children are very satisfied and they look forward to their next visit! I love this place because my children loved it and the friendly staff!!!

Great experience start to finish! Dania was so helpful with scheduling my orthodontics consultation appointment around my schedule. My exam was speedy and Dr. Nia was great. Sara went above and beyond to provide me with enough financial options that were best suited for me. I was even in luck as they had room to start my orthodontics journey that same day! Stellar office!

Love Nia. Been going there for years. We were some of their very first patients after being referred by a friend of the doctors. Both Docs (married to one another) make a great team. They and their entire staff are very caring for all their young patients. The patience shown in some of the more harrowing experiences for my kids was amazing. The expertise and caring by all staff, friendliness and overall warm yet professional handling of their practice shows they chose the correct profession and have a real personal interest in the outcomes of their work. Most doctors offices today treat you like a number. Pediatric dentistry is something my wife and I found to be as stressful on us as it was for our children. The Nia family treats their patients and parents just like another member of theirs. Thanks for that Nia, and keep up the great work you are doing!!!
