Dr. Mark Horne is a native Nashvillian and actually grew up as a patient in the practice. Evidence of him being in the office dates all the way back to 1977, just a year after the practice opened.After graduating from John Overton High School, he elected to go to David Lipscomb University and graduated with a BS in Chemistry. He was then accepted to the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2002. He then came back to Nashville and went into practice with his childhood dentist, Dr. Nally.
Dr. Horne is a member of various organizations, including the Nashville Dental Society, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He currently also has a broader role in the Tennessee Dental Association, serving as a delegate. Dr. Horne carries an immense passion for mission work. He has been on medical mission trips to Honduras in the past where they concentrate on improving dental health.
Dr. Horne is the proud father of three wonderful children: Megan, Wyatt and Charlie. He and his wife Jessica are very active in their childrens lives, and volunteer at their schools regularly. He and his wife are also very active in the Nashville community. They are active members of Westminster Presbyterian church and Jessica is a long-standing volunteer of the Junior League of Nashville. In his free time, Dr. Horne enjoys spending time with family and is an avid cyclist. He participates in state-wide racing when time allows.

Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide comprehensive service to each patient. Our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technology advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Great dentist and especially the hygienist - who I see more often! For a long time, I've had my check-up / cleaning appts at opening, they have always been on time and ready to go. Over the years, I have had several procedures, besides regular cleanings ... always been pleased.

I have been going to Dr. Horne for years. The office is friendly and efficient; the hygenists are thorough, competenr, and friendly; and Dr. Horne is calm, gentle, and funny...everything I want in a dentist. I have had a good bit of dental work done, and he took his time to make sure I was fully numb before beginning his work. I have had good results and am not anxious about going to the dentist...something I used to have anxiety about.

Everyone in the office, including Dr. Horne, are especially kind and it shows that they care for each of their patients. They go out of their way to ensure each has as positive exerience that is possible. In other words, they all treat you like family. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

Great staff! This is a small office with friendly, knowledgeable staff and dentist. They have been excellent to my 91 year old Dad with dentures. I would recommend them highly, appointments are easy to get and you are in on time! What more could you ask for?

Great staff and excellent dental work by Dr. Horn and his hygienists. This office had been recommended by my orthodontist, and my family and I have been coming here for several years and for a wide variety of dental procedures. I highly recommend the quality of their work and services!
