Dr. Bill Nguyen is a local product of the OC. He graduated as Valedictorian from El Modena High School in Orange and went on to study Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with Honors and receiving several awards and commendations for academic excellence and clinical achievement. He completed his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he achieved the Orthodontic Clinical Award given to the top senior resident.
Dr. Nguyen was a faculty member of the University of California, Los Angeles, Section of Orthodontics. He is an active member of various local and national dental and orthodontic organizations. Dr. Nguyen has been certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This is an elective process and represents Dr. Nguyens continual effort to excel in his specialty. Today only a small percentage of orthodontists throughout the world have gone this extra step to become Diplomates.
Dr. Nguyens wife, Ann, is also involved in the dental field as a Registered Dental Hygienist. They have been married for 19years. Dr. Nguyen is actively involved in various community affairs and donates his time to local charitable causes. Through the Rotary Club of Laguna Niguel, he helps distribute dictionaries to third graders, provide free dentistry, and award scholarships to graduating high school seniors at Dana Hills High School and Aliso Niguel High School. Dr. Nguyens five children, Nathan, Nicole, Natalie, Noelle and Nicholas keep him plenty busy outside the office.

This was my first visit since the office was shut down. I was very impressed with the precautions they took to ensure the safety of the patients and themselves. I felt extremely comfortable and will at future appointments. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and staff!

What a pleasure it was to come to this office. From the Doctor to the techs to the office staff, the entire experience was comfortable and accommodating. It's so nice to have an office that truly cares for the kids over all results and not focused on unnecessary procedures. Will recommend them to all of my daughters friends!

Everyone at this office is so friendly! I love going to my checkups because they make me feel so welcome (Plus I feel safe going to their office since they have taken precautions with COVID). Dr. Nguyen takes the utmost care with his patients and I'm glad I chose his office for my orthodontic care. My teeth have shown a lot of improvement in a short amount of time and I know it's because he's so meticulous with his work.

Dr. Nguyen and his team run a wonderful orthodontics office. The treatment plan for my son is holistic. Staff is courteous. Dr. Nguyen and his assistants explain procedures thoroughly to us to ensure that we are comfortable about the treatment. In occasional cases when we need emergency visits, we were accommodated promptly. Cost is reasonable, and the payment schedule is flexible to work with my FSA plan. I will not hesitate to recommend Dr. Nguyen and his office to anyone for the excellent service provided.

Great experience for our family for orthodontist work needed. Very nice staff and Dr. Nguyen is very thoughtful in his explanations and responsiveness. We had an emergency with a broken wire and he there late night to help fix it. Highly recommend.

Adults are motivated by different reasons to pursue orthodontia and, in my case, it was a combination of aesthetics and functionality. Having a medical background myself, I made sure to research and interview my dentist's referrals and chose to go with Dr. Nguyen because of his training, experience and attention to detail. Anyone can straighten teeth, but not everyone makes the effort to strive for perfection in an effort to get the best possible results. Dr. Nguyen's staff went above and beyond in accommodating requests for any between-appointment adjustments and never made me feel like I was being unreasonable. I must admit that I'm surprised by how far orthodontia has evolved since I first had braces 40 years ago! In fact, it's been a completely different (positive) experience. Dr. Nguyen has corrected years of shifting and even has helped resolve jaw pain, reinforcing my belief that it's never too late to look good and feel great at a competitive price. With Dr. Nguyen it's not a one and done...here I am over a year after getting my braces off and the complimentary check-ups really speak to how seriously Dr. Nguyen takes his work and commitment to patient care. I highly recommend gifting oneself with Dr. Nguyen's orthodontia care!

When it came time for my daughter to get braces I took her to the practice I had mine done 10 years earlier, as an adult. I was surprised to find that my orthodontist had retired, but I was told by his remaining staff, daughter-in-law included, that he researched extensively for just the right person to take care of the families in our community. His due diligence gave us the best orthodontist you could find. Dr Nguyen was phenomenal with my daughter and the results are perfect. My daughter got her braces late, 16yrs of age, so it made her case more challenging. Dr Nguyen was thorough, patient, knowledgeable, strived for perfection with his results, didn't rush the process, and was extremely meticulous. These are all the things you want and should look for in an orthodontist. In addition my daughter loved him. He engages with the kids involving them and explaining the process to them, and I also loved that he would always have educated academic conversations with them. His office staff is amazing as well. They are friendly, accommodating, very helpful, and know their field. They all work very well together with Dr Nguyen. It's a very well oiled machine. My son his starting his orthodontics with Dr Nguyen in two weeks. We look forward to another 18 months with Dr Nguyen and his staff and to the perfect results we know we will receive.
