Dr. Nguyen provides the type of care and treatment that everyone should receive from all medical professionals. She's thorough, caring, and compassionate, and her staff are friendly and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this practice. I have been a patient for over a decade, throughout a variety of insurances and even without.

I have never had bad service here. The people are friendly, the tech's are super nice too. I go see Dr. Javier, and he's awesome. Always checking up on how i'm doing and explains everything into detail.

Greatest dentist ever! And who says that about a dentist? Never tried to tell me I needed a treatment I didn't need in order to get more money. Actually helped me manage my insurance so my cost would be lower. Always remembered me whenever I came so I never felt like just another mouth she had to look at. I moved an hour and a half away and I still will always go back to her! I can't imagine anyone giving her a bad review. Even my kid who is terrified of dentists liked her.

I have been going to Dr. Nguyen for 9 years, after reading glowing reviews about her online. She has taken care of my teeth, educated me on the importance of keeping up with healthy dental practices (mind you I am 61 years old and a practicing registered nurse) and treated me with kindness and respect. She has worked miracles with my Mom's challenging dental work (creating masterpiece teeth that look like her own), that makes her travel the long distance from Maryland. Her assistants and receptionist have treated me with nothing but respect, greeting me by name the second I walked through her door. I recently had a root canal done by another dentist in her office (sad to say I don't remember his name) and he was phenomenal; along with his dental assistant, who seemed to know what he needed without asking. Right after that, I headed to Dr. Nguyen's chair, where I was fitted with a temporary crown. 2 weeks later I returned for the permanent one, which was a perfect fit and I've had no problems since. Her dental assistants are awesome, polite and also caring. I needed to write this review, not to negate the negative comments because each experience is unique for each individual, but to just encourage people to visit her, at least once, and form your own opinions. My family and I have found the perfect dentist, who doesn't make us cringe when we need to go to the dentist!!!

Smile Dental care headed by Dr. Cindy Nguyen is an exemplary practice that wows me every time I have an appointment. The courtesy and professionalism is outstanding. DR. CINDY is one of the best dentists I've been to. My family has been going to her for years. My 6yo son actually reminds me about his appt because he enjoys coming!! You feel like family here and they truly work with you. She is honest, but not pushy. She doesn't try to sell you anything. Honesty and the family feel is why I will remain a patient of Dr. Cindy! Dont let a bad review rob you of this comforting experience. She does great work and you'll be very happy with her and her team!

My kids and I have been going to Dr Cindy for about 10 years. She is very good with my kids. She always makes sure to pull me to the side to let me know what's going on with them so my kids won't hear. She's also successfully taken care of my son's cavities without him even knowing which is amazing. I've read some reviews about the receptionist with the tattoos named Juan. I have never had any issues with him. He is nothing but friendly, helpful, informative, and attentive to everyone when I am there.

Went to her. After waiting for more than 30+ minutes ,I am taken in and some assistant starts the cleaning with polishing and floss. I tell her I find it odd, but she told me every office has different procedures. Then I am waiting endlessly and the dentist shows up. She said "Oh she (assistant) has cleaned your teeth and I am going to clean a "Little bit" more. I was not sure what to make out of this comment. She used some big wand and was done in 5 minutes. She told me that it is the new technology as opposed to the manual cleaning/scaling that I always got. New to VA and miss my previous dental practice in MD. I pointed out to her that I don't feel clean as I can still see a lot of plaque build up between my teeth and gum line. She was not ready to pay any attention and do anything manually. I was surprised that she was into financial too much and was able to quote me instantly the cost of future treatments that she said are needed. In between I was just left alone for a long time. No one informed me as to what is next. I was so surprised that the cleaning started with polishing and not any other real cleaning, I asked the same assistant if she has observed this in any other office. She told me this was her first. That made me a little nervous . Not sure about any credentials/experience of the person/assistant. I regret going to her and would never go again to her. I am 55+ and have never experienced such crass service ever before. This is my first ever review, but felt very strongly to write it. Feeling sorry for myself.

Cindy is the best! She's been my dentist for 10 years and I love her! She is always accommodating and considerate. She takes extra time to keep me aware of what my insurance covers and always finds a way to care for me in an affordable way when my insurance isn't an option. She is gentle with my teeth and uses the most up to date technology. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist!!
