Hi, Im Dr. Chandra Brown Hines. I grew up in Jackson, MS and attended college at Jackson State University. From there I attended dental school at Meharry Medical College completing my degree in 1995. After that I have spent the first half of my career working in various public health positions. In 2007 I relocated to Durham, NC. I met and married my husband, Chris . We enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love cooking, cooking shows ,trying new recipes, true crime and comedy.
I enjoy learning new things. Continuing education is vital in adding information and techniques that ultimately benefit my patients. I want our patients to feel comfortable in our space like they are visiting a friend. I want our patients to feel free to ask questions about the services recommended. I want our patients to feel they were treated well and want to tell their friends and family about us.

Excellence in Dentistry starts with Dr. Brown of Next Step Dental. She took her time to listen to all of my concerns. I have four titanium plates and 31 screws in my face and I have been plagued with two decades of serious dental issues. Dr. Brown addressed every single one of them. She was genuinely concerned with my issues and worked to find a solution for my pain and discomfort. The customer service of her staff is unparalleled! Excellent Staff!
