Dr. Edwin Smith is a devoted, caring, and highly-skilled dentist who graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in NYC. He was raised in Miami, Florida, attending Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory HS, and graduated with a Bachelors in Science from Florida International University. His passion for dentistry began at a young age as he regularly visited his father's dental office after school. At the age of 13 he committed to becoming a dentist, and worked hard to obtain a top-notch dental education to better serve his future patients. He has been noted by many in the dental field for his accurate precision and technical skills. In 2013 he was awarded the Pre-doctoral Student Achievement Award from the Internation Congress of Oral Implantologists.
He has a long history of leadership and giving back to his local community, which he plans to continue throughout his career. His patients often comment about his ability to put them at ease and perform high quality dental work. On his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, archery, spending time with his family, and enjoying South Floridas beautiful beaches.
He is also an avid Miami Heat fan, almost never missing a game! Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, South Florida Dental Association, Miami-Dade County Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Edwin is an amazing doctor. He took his time and explained my care plan. The staff there was also amazing. The office manager, and receptionists were always polite and answered every question I had. This is a great establishment.

Staff is very friendly, i have been going there for a while now. Dr Smith is very patient and does take the time to explain in detail all the process... I never like dentists since i was a kid but he made me feel confortable. Will recommend to anyone...

Dear Dr. Edwin Smith. Thank you for taking time away from your family vacation during an emergency dental visit. The pain was more than I can handle. I was impressed with your kindness and patience when I learned my root canal went bad and needed to be repaired. Thank you for going over the x-ray in details and explaining the problem in a simple way, I was also impressed how quickly you were able to connect me with the dental specialists. Dr. Smith you are the best.

Caring, affordable and determined doctor, makes you feel comfortable and gets the job done! First non painful root canal I've ever had and my crowns look like my real teeth!

Nobody likes going to the dentist. But This was one of the best experiences I have had. Definitely recommend. Don't be afraid to ask questions either, very knowledgeable and explains things very clearly for non-dental graduates lol

One of the best dentist office I been to!!! The customer service here is the Awesome. They make you feel right at home. And when you have an appointment they call you couple days before to make sure you don't forget. I like this place so much that I live in New Jersey and I fly down just to get my worked done here by Dr. Edwin Smith. He is the only Doctor that touches my teeth. As you can see from the picture when you walk to the dental room everything is clean and ready for the next customer. Customer service it's on another level. If you're looking for a dental office I definitely recommend Next Dental make sure you get Dr. Edwin Smith!!

I highly recommend anyone to visit Dr Edwin Smith for their dental needs. He is very professional, gentle, and knowledgable. I've always been hesitant to go to the dentist office in the past, until now. Dr Smith puts you at ease, my appointments have always been pleasant.
