Dr. Marco Savittieri is a board-certified dentist anesthesiologist specialist providing general anesthesia, intravenous sedation and pain management services for patients of all ages requiring restorative dentistry or maxillofacial surgery in a private office setting. His goal is to provide safe, compassionate, hospital-quality care, tailored to the patients specific needs and medical history, while fostering a peaceful and calm environment.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology, Dr. Savittieri worked in San Diegos cutting-edge pharmaceutical industry. He desired to be more directly involved with the patients he was helping, ultimately pursuing a career as a health care provider. While obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at USC, Dr. Savittieri was recognized for his passion in anesthesiology and received the J. Walter Reeves Memorial Award and the DR. STAT/IV TEAM Laryngoscope Award while graduating atop his class with recognition by Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society.
Dr. Savittieri completed his post-doctoral residency in Dental Anesthesiology at UCLA. He provided more than a thousand anesthetics for general surgeries in Americas top rated hospitals such as Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and Santa Monica-UCLA Hospital. Throughout his specialty training, he gained unrivaled experience as a mobile-anesthesia provider, delivering several hundred anesthetics in an ambulatory, dental office settings. As chief resident, his proficiency expanded to include out-patient orthognathic surgeries and all-on-four implant procedures requiring multifaceted anesthesia techniques and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Savittieri practiced as a mobile anesthesia provider for multiple enterprises Comfort Dental Anesthesia, The Los Angeles Center of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Desert State Dental Anesthesia. The majority of his practice is dedicated to pediatric and special needs patients. He is also devoted to servicing dental-phobic adult and geriatric patients, with complex medical conditions, requiring extensive dental rehabilitation.
Dr. Savittieri currently lives and practices in San Diego. He is a diplomat for the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists. He holds current Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification. Dr. Savittieri loves his job, which perfectly combines his passion for science and enthusiasm for quality patient care. Dr. Savittieri is a dedicated family man. In his free time, Dr. Savittieri enjoys all that sunny California has to offer: surfing, hiking, and sandy beach days with his wife and son.
We offer chemical whitening options for patients who want to be treated in our office, and who want to treat themselves at home. Our in-office whitening treatments use laser whitening tools to boost the power of our chemical whiteners, so you can get very fast results and brighten your smile quickly for a special occasion.Take-home whitening is a bit different. Youll come into our office to have a set of custom whitening trays built. Then, Dr. Yavari will give you a set of whitening products and instructions for their use. With take-home whitening, you can whiten your teeth at home and get professional-grade results without spending time in the dentists chair!
Dental bonding is non-invasive and affordable, and the treatment usually takes only 30-60 minutes per tooth. In this procedure, Dr. Yavari will clean and prepare your tooth, then apply a tooth-colored dental resin to the surface of the tooth. This resin will be shaped, sculpted, and trimmed until it looks just like part of your natural enamel. This treatment can restore chipped teeth, gaps in your smile, uneven and misshapen teeth, and much more.
Enameloplasty (shaping & contouring) is a minimally-invasive treatment thats often done alongside dental bonding. In this procedure, Dr. Yavari will use a dental drill to buff away imperfections in your smile such as minor chips, pointed teeth, and uneven tooth surfaces. This provides you with a more pleasing smile.
Veneers are usually made of tooth-like porcelain materials. They are designed to fit over the front of your teeth after they have been prepared and trimmed, covering up a wide variety of cosmetic dental issues including gaps in your smile, discolored teeth, misshapen teeth, and much more. They look and feel completely natural, require no special care after treatment, and can easily last 10-15 years or longer. However, veneers are not reversible, since they require the removal of some of your natural enamel during the preparation process.

Be new to the San Diego area, I needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Yavari was recommended by a good friend. Appointments during the week are difficult for me, and her office was able to accommodate my schedule on a Saturday. X-rys were done quickly and Dr. Yavari saw me right away. She couldn't have been more professional with the exam and cleaning. I was extremely pleased with my visit and will be back! I have recommended her to several friends.

Today was my first time to this dentist. The staff were amazing and the place was very nice. Dr. Yavari was such a sweet person and helped me with my teeth. The tools that were used were super clean and I came a long way to this dentist and it was definitely worth it. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, but I actually enjoy going to Dr. Yavari's office. They have the newest equipment, but more importantly, they are well versed in what they do and have a high level of commitment to how it's done. I can smile BIG knowing that my teeth are taken care of by Dr. Yavari and staff.

The service is excellent, the hands of Dr. Yabari are like an angel, I did not feel anything in my treatment, very good dentist, I recommend them. apart from the facilities are top quality, everything looks clean they are folllowing all of the OSHA protocols for Covid-19 and has the best technology.

Best service i've received from a dentistry by far ! I was recommend to go here by a friend, I normally don't like going out of my comfort zone when it comes to dentistry's but I am glad I came to NexGen. The staff here is amazing you are greeted by their friendly front desk workers Lupe and Monica as soon as you enter. Thank you to Dr. Yavari for providing the best service she can and making me feel like a long time customer. I will be definitely coming back here and will make it my permanent dentistry. I'm so grateful I found NexGen dentistry they are so amazing! My sons previous dentist visits were not the best experiences for him, but this visit was completely the opposite. I just want to say thank you to the entire Nexgen Dentistry team for making my son's very scary dental procedure seem not so bad. He had a traumatizing experience recently at another dentist and the staff here made sure that he was able to replace that experience with something more manageable. You can really tell that Dr. Yavari puts a ton of thought into each step of her process, from the moment the child enters her office. She also has a great passion and respect for her work and will not settle for anything less than her expectations. "In order to do my best work the child must be calm and still and if I do not feel the work will be done perfectly I will not want to proceed with it" are her words to me. Instead of turning away a scared or panicked child, we made a plan on how best to approach my son's fears and we were able to keep him calm and comfortable through the entire visit and Dr. Yavari delivered as promised! She has really changed the game for pediatric dental work and I would recommend her to anyone I know with children.

My son had a wisdom teeth surgery with nexGen Dentistry. Since he was supposed to pull out 4 of his teeth in the same time, I was so worried. But thanks Dr. Yavari's team who did a really great job on my son surgery. He didn't have to take any pain medication and the next day after surgery, he was completely fine and went to his work. It was an amazing experience with Nexgen Dentestry. Thank a lot. You are the best
