Dr. Valverde received his DDS degree from the State University of So Paulo, UNESP Araraquara School of Dentistry in Brazil. He completed his Masters degree in Oral Rehabilitation at the same University and became Assistant Professor in Prosthodontics at the University of Fortaleza School of Dentistry, where he spent 8 years teaching and working in his private practice focusing mainly in complex prosthetic reconstructions. Dr. Valverde, to obtain his PhD in clinical Prosthodontics-Material Sciences, attended the State University of Campinas-UNICAMP. For his research training, within Brazil/USA PhD combined program, he developed his theses in the field of ceramics at the Biomaterials and Biomimetic Department-New York University School of Dentistry. After which, he continued at NYU in a Post-Doc position developing research in the field of implant, ceramics and biomaterials. Dr. Valverde has also completed his D.M.D. degree at Tufts School of Dental Medicine and holds an assistant professor position at the residency in advanced restorative and esthetic dentistry program. His clinical expertise includes Prosthodontics, Esthetics, reconstructive and Implant Dentistry.
