Great dentist. Never recommends unnecessary stuff, gives great advice. I was surprised by the negative reviews as I've always had a positive experience. Highly recommended!

Do not Trust this Dentist. He makes a good first impression and that's it. This Dr new my insurance problems being a veteran and asked me to call him when I worked it out. I did and now he is not taking new patients. Not veteran friendly, Staff was very cold and I asked for a return call from Dr Newsome. No response. Not veteran friendly. You decide.

I've had great dentition my entire life, until this past October when I needed a dentist urgently. Upon the recommendation of a supervisor, I made an appointment with Dr. Newsome and they found a few areas that needed work. I paid their "estimate" at my November visit, but was hit again for an ADDITIONAL $300+ at my February appointment. I guess their estimate was just a shot in the dark. I had my final appointment today for 1pm. I called Monday to verify the time and they called me yesterday to confirm. I just left work to get ready for today's appointment, but they just called to tell me I would owe $400+ when I arrived. I don't know about anyone else, but that's a lot of money to expect on such short notice. I asked why I didn't receive a bill and why I still owed so much, and they said they couldn't control the postal service and the previous payments were my "estimates". I asked about payment plans and they refused me. Do yourselves a huge favor and find a dentist who actually cares about people. It is beyond me that they would expect that much money from someone on a 2 hour notice, then refuse treatment because they don't have the full amount. I cannot adequately express my anger with these people.

Originally came for cleaning. Then extraction, bridge, root canal. They do it all with ease, care and as pain free as possible, If you do not have insurance, they offer cash discounts so ask. Highly recommended.

Just wanted to give an honest assessment of this practice, Dr. Newsom was extremely professional he answered my questions and listened to what I had to say, usually when I go into the doctors office they see me for two minutes turn around and walk back out the door,Maybe I'm not an easy person to deal with sometimes but these people were very helpful and honest enough to tell me the real problems With the pain I was having in my teeth, other places I had gone to wanted to do more work then was needed or didn't need to be done And wanted to charge me thousands, Just goes to show you what kind of people are out here taking advantage of other people and the less fortunate, I can't afford dental insurance right now as I am trying to take care of my son and be with him..Last but not least I wanna point out that it was refreshing getting an appointment scheduled two days after I called and in that same day the doctor was able to pull my tooth that Had been infected and causing me to be sick...The staff was really courteous to me even though they were extremely busy and could've easily blown me off, but didn't also the price was fair And I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Dentist! Sorry for the bad punctuations' I know this must've been a challenge to read. LOL anyway everyone be blessed and stay healthy!

The Dentist and dental assistants are amazing at what they do, but the billing lady is a nightmare! She straight up lies about how much you will be charged and then blindsides you with the actual cost when you get there/ when you are done. We have had problems with her for many years but they were who we went to. Now that I am an adult with no insurance, I will be going anywhere else. I told her on the phone -inquiring about price- that I had no insurance, how much will it be? She said I still had insurance and that it would cost nothing but maybe a copay. Well, I get there and have my check up done. End of appointment at the desk, they now say I have no insurance and it will be something like $147. I was so angry. I just said "You have my address?- yes?- Bill me." And I walked out. I will NEVER go back there because of that horrible billing lady. Be Warned.

If you want professionalism, honesty and to feel like you are in good hands, then please keep looking. The office staff informed me that I was a liar. Also failed to inform Dr. Newsome would be on vacation for three weeks. This is a poorly run outfit.
