Welcome to our dental practice. Thank you for showing interest in our endodontic office. Drs. Vahdadi, Torabinejad and Bachour are endodontists, which means they specialize in root canals and limit their practice exclusively to endodontic care.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality of endodontic care possible in a comfortable and professional environment. In our office, we strive to make your experience a positive one. Our staff is friendly, helpful, and informative. We know that root canals can have a bad reputation and we want to change that stigma and guide you through the process every step of the way. Drs. Vahdadi, Torabinejad and Bachour will provide the necessary endodontic treatment with the aim that when you leave here, you will want to share your pleasant experience with your referring dentist, family, and friends.
Drs. Vahdadi, Torabinejad and Bachour utilize the latest in dental technology currently available. This includes the proper sterilization of instruments, which is a top priority in our office. They work with rotary instruments, ultrasonics, microscopes, CBCT Scan and digital x-rays. The microscope greatly enhances visibility which improves treatment, while the imaging technology significantly reduces radiation to the patient and helps in diagnosis.
Our office is a state of the art clinic, equipped with the latest and most up to date technology to treat patients with endodontic treatment needs. Our practice has three generations of award-winner educators/endodontists, not only providing care for the patients in our community, but also training the next generation of endodontists both nationally and internationally. Our staff is among the most qualified in the industry with decades of experience. We are conveniently located in The Mariners Medical Plaza in Newport Beach across from Hoag Hospital.
Dr. Vahdati is a board-eligible endodontist. He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, for which he was recently invited back to teach part-time. He finished his endodontic residency at the top of his class at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry; and he was trained by world-renowned experts such as the legendary Mahmoud Torabinejad and Leif Bakland.
Dr. Vahdati is well-published in the fields of endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery and implant dentistry. He has also authored several book chapters on those general topics as well as on the topic of tissue engineering.

I highly recommend this location for the root canal. Dr. Vahdati is a an expert and knowledgeable endodontist. The place is very clean and hygienic with an advanced technology. Very kind and nice personnel. They did an excellent job.

I have had a couple of teeth treated and was extremely pleased with the entire process. Dr. Vahdati was extreme through and even found a serious cavity hiding under a tooth that he was not treating, which allowed me to have my regular dentist save the tooth. His office staff is excellent and his equipment was state of the art. Nobody likes dentists, but if you have to see one, Dr. Vahdati is one of the best. Perhaps the most impressive thing that he did was tell my wife that she did not need the treatment she was seeking. He referred her out to another doctor, and while he did not make any money that day, he earned a glowing review. Also, Frances, the front office manager, was outstanding.

Dr. Vahdati, his assistant, and office manager made my first root canal experience comfortable and quick! I was so grateful that they were able to take me in almost immediately. Office manager was upfront about costs and made the check in process easy. The procedure was rather easy! Dr. Vahdati explains everything that is going on while it's happening which I like, especially when they said it was going really good. Even the injections weren't too bad. He uses the Gentle Wave technology to really clean the canal once done. Seems like some cool chemistry and physics! Thanks again Dr. Vahdati and staff.

Dr Vahdati is amazing. He has done 3 root canals on me and all of them were a breeze. Barely felt a thing after the pinch/pressure of the shot. He communicates very well, and pays attention for any signs you may be in pain and does all that he can to prevent your discomfort. He tells you how to show him and his staff you're in pain with hand signals so that you can communicate with them while they work. Another dentist had told me that it would probably be best to just pull the tooth. But Dr Vahdati assured me that he was capable of working a miracle and saving what was left for me. Took a little longer than expected, but that's my fault for waiting so long, which led to minor complications. He uses the most advanced technology and techniques, so he can be a bit pricey. But if you are on that save my tooth (and don't want dentures, implants, or a bridge) then Dr Vahdati is the man to put your faith in. He will do everything possible to save the tooth. I wish I could give him 50*s. Best part was, he called me out for wearing S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra gear... he said I need to choose a side. Hahaha thank you very much Dr Vahdati, I appreciate your work very much.

Had a GREAT experience here. From the front office staff, to the dental assistant, to the dentist...everyone was efficient, kind, and professional. I've had horrible experiences elsewhere with incorrect billing or overcharging, so I was pleasantly surprised when I came here. There was no wait time, the dental assistants were attentive and helpful, and the dentist explained everything clearly and did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend this office.

Dr Vahdati is kind, professional, and trustworthy. I went in for a possible root canal check up and the only way I can sum this up is by saying Dr. Vahdati is one of superb professionalism and a true expertise in his work. He pays close attention to details and his staff is very attentive, friendly and well organized. I will strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a good endodontist!

I needed a root canal performed on a molar that was crowned approximately 20 years ago. I remember the pain and discomfort of that process so long ago. Naturally, I was nervous at undergoing a similar process. But the experience with Dr. Bahdati was so different. Other than a pinch on the gums for numbing the area, the procedure was surprisingly painless. Moreover, the Doctor kept me informed of every step of the procedure, like a play-by-play account. His entire staff was very pleasant and courteous. I am very pleased at having found Dr. Vahdati. Fully recommend!!!!!

I as well expected Dr. Sokolowski and learned that Dr. Vahdati had bought his praxis. I agree that the root canal treatment was totally painless, but it seemed more difficult than normal, since it took 2 1/2 hours. Since I could not see anything, I assume that it was complicated. Now to the cost side, when I entered the office, I asked the office manager what fee to expect, since I was a cash patient. She told me $980.00, I tried to bargain, but was not successful, since she confirmed that they charge every patient the same. I could live with that price, since I wanted it get done. Dr. Vahdati was extremely careful and most likely did an outstanding job, but when I asked to pay, the office manager told me that it was very complicated and normally this would be an additional $770.00, but Dr. Vahdati was kind enough to give me a 50% discount on the additional charge. I am sorry, but I forgot to jump for joy! I paid it and I must once more admit that I am extremely satisfied with his service, but the office manager needs to explain to the patients that those $980.00 are the minimum cost.

I have had a number of Root Canals and every one has been a complete nightmare. New to Dr. Socoloske I through it would be no different. You look up wuss in the dictionary, you find my name. Sad but true. I was expecting another painful hour in a dental chair. I was amazed it was a totally painless experience. To think of all the time they kept injecting me with Novocain at other dentists and it would still be painful. He spoke to me very step of the way. His office is beautiful, his staff is friendly and amazing. Don't get me wrong, I still hate dentists of any kind, but if I had to like one, it would be this guy!
