Dr. Faith Drennon grew up in Rome, Georgia. She earned her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Georgia (2001) and is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry (2006). After five years practicing General Dentistry in a private Pediatric Dental Practice, she found that working with children was her passion. She completed a two year Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University (2013). They are money hungry. I went here because they have porcelain caps and we wanted my daughters replaced. Couldn't find anywhere else who offered this. Long story short; they had a long list of other issues with her teeth and didn't tell us until the day of the appointment that they weren't sure if they could even replace the cap or if it would even fit her tooth at all so while their doing the sealants and other fillings that we didn't ask for my daughter starts crying so hard she can't breathe and Dr. Drennon can hear her trying to catch her breath and refuses to stop! Most traumatizing moment of my daughters life was under her "care". My daughter has never had an issue with any other dentist! They used laughing gas but kept it on for a very short amount of time so pretty sure it didn't even do much! This doctor is interested in money. She has no interest in your child's health. When I asked her about nutrition to prevent cavities she had barely any advice. I would never give them another penny nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Entire staff is great - receptionist, hygienist and Dentist. My son loves going!!!! Updating 5/22 - I continue to love the staff here. My son had an emergency issue. After calling the office and sending a photo, they quickly booked us for an appointment that morning. While there, he needed a baby tooth pulled. The staff, including Dr Drennon, were so great throughout the process to keep him calm and work quickly.

When it comes to pediatric dentistry, I recommend Dr. Drennon's office to everyone!! We've been going here for well over 6yrs & I hope I can find the right words to explain how amazing the staff is! This is an extremely CLEAN/STERILE office with TV's in the ceiling!! Your little ones can watch a movie while their teeth are being worked on & they will actually ENJOY going to visit the dentist! I hope this staff receives the recognition they deserve & we're so grateful for a compassionate dentist like Dr. Drennon. We'd give it a 10 star rating if we could!

Our first experience at Newport pediatric dentistry was none the less of excellent!! I am so glad we got recommended to them. Dr. Drennon was great with my daughter, she needed an emergency tooth extraction and my daughter couldn't believe how smoothly it went. They got us in right away to relieve the problem, thank you to everyone who made her experience great!!

I hope you know that you're violating HIPAA by commenting the procedures and private medical info in the comments with less stars than you'd prefer. That is nasty to blast someone's info just to save yourself over a review and I would not trust you with my medical information. I encourage anyone who's medical info she commented to take legal action this Is a violation of your privacy.

Dr Drennon and her staff are AMAZING! They figured out the key to making extremely anxious children at ease at the dentist. We had previously been to 4 different dentists, all of which did not fit my sons specific needs. After leaving her office for the first time, I let out a huge sigh of relief, knowing we had found the right dentist for my son. My six year old had General Anesthesia for a dental procedure at Dr. Drennon's office. Her team and the anesthesiologists team amazed me from the second we walked in the morning of his procedure. I can't thank Dr. Drennon enough for how comfortable my child now feels going to the dentist!
