Dr. Vartanian grew up in Pasadena, CA. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from New York University College of Dentistry.He has been practicing in Newport Beach since 1998.
Dr. Vartanian mentors a few times a year at Spear Education in Scottsdale Arizona for those wanting to learn all aspects of dentistry. From the most simple cosmetics to full mouth reconstructions involving implants and natural teeth. He is currently working on attaining his Mastership in Dentistry.

Dr. V and his team are phenomenal. I've been going here for years - Dr V and staff always take great care of me, and I recently got a set of porcelain crowns that are beautiful and so natural looking. My teeth are genetically a disaster and Dr. V fixed them up perfectly. Chrystal is amazing as well and has helped me a lot with remedies for my cavity-prone teeth. Highly recommend!

Great team of professionals! I'm always well taken care of and they have been very careful and communicative during COVID which I appreciate. Would recommend Dr. Vartanian and his staff to anyone looking for a new dentist. Love the text reminders and follow up which made it super easy to reschedule my last cleaning. Special shout out to Crystal my dental hygienist - she's the absolute BEST!

I was given Dr. Vartanian's contact info through a friend of mine. I texted him to see if he could help me and he responded within minutes, even though he was on vacation. I called the office and spoke to Maria who was super helpful and scheduling an appointment was easy! My first impression was great, the office is high end, staff was friendly, appointment started on time, etc. Dr. John took a look at all my teeth and recommend X-rays of one tooth which needed a filling. Didn't oversell me on anything, just wanted me to get the best care. After my stubborn mouth didn't want to give in to the anesthetic, Dr. John was more than happy to numb me some more so that the treatment could begin. Soon there after I was on my way, without any pain and my tooth all fixed! I highly recommend anyone in the OC area schedule to go and see my new dentist Dr. John!!
