Our teams are geared up (literally watch the video) to sanitize equipment, chairs, tables, door handles, countertops etc. many times a day. And we dont stop there. PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Dr. Mark Duffy returned to Ohio to begin his dental career with Bright Now Dental. This is a big deal as Ohio is ranked 12th in the nation for having a shortage of dentists and specialty dentists. Dayton and Bright Now Dental are fortunate to have Dr. Duffy as he is a dentist who is dedicated to providing affordable quality dental care in an underserved area.

I had amazing experiences with them up until yesterday. I previously had a 4:30 appointment for a dental impression but called the morning prior to ask if they had any later time slots. A woman that I had never worked with before offered me a 5:30pm slot so I moved my appointment to then. However, after taking time off from work to leave early and sit in 50min of traffic for 30 miles, I arrive only for them to claim that my appointment was at 4:30 and that I would need to reschedule! Although it was a mistake on their end, they denied responsibility and were unable to fit me in despite the simple and quick procedure and stated that it was impossible for me to have been given a 5:30pm spot to begin with. Why would I make that up?! They had to reschedule me to another day and time that was, coincidently, at 5:30pm! I truly hope that this never occurs again. The only reason that this isn't a 1 star review is because Dr. Okwuosa and the main, longtime receptionist Sandra have been a pleasure to work with.

Very upset. Check in and getting x-rays were super fast. Going to the dental room I waited 30 minutes for the dentist just to tell me all they can give me is pain for my tooth . I expected to get a filling or something. I'm not sure why they have a high rating. I believe the dentist I had was new because she seemed clueless. I scheduled with a different dental office.

My dentist is very concerned about me and my health and well-being. She wanted to know if I had taken my medicine and had ate breakfast. She went through the trouble of having my husband bring me something to eat b4 my treatment. These are really good folks who have your health care in mind as well as your dental care.

The dental staff there are awesome, it's the people that handle the billing that made this a bad experience. I had a crown put on about 2 years and it suddenly broke. I went into the office and they said my insurance wouldn't cover it because the broken crown was self inflicted. I tried to explain that the tooth broke from the backside so there was no way it could have been self inflicted. She sat there and pretty much said the x-rays don't lie. I went ahead and paid for the new crown out of pocket since I couldn't be walking around with a missing tooth. I reached out to my insurance and they advised me that the dental office took advantage of me because they never even tried to bill the insurance company first. Basically they never gave the insurance company the chance to make a decision wether they were going to cover the broken crown or not, instead they just billed me and assumed they wouldn't cover it. This matter is yet to be resolved.

Dr. Okwuosa was very kind and helpful to my 6-year old daughter. We'd seen another dentist that wouldn't do any work unless we agreed to extra services. Dr. Okwuosa took one look (literally) at my daughter's tooth and immediately said she could correct the problem. Our wait time was minimal, even on a Saturday, and my daughter is much more comfortable with her smile.

Normally I have good experiences at NewPort Dental, but this visit was disappointing. Everyone is still friendly and nice, but when I went in for tooth pain from my root canal tooth, the dentist said the endodontist who done the treatment didn't do it right or my root canal tooth is reinfected. I thought they would've treated me there since I got the treatment done at this location, but they're having me call the endodonist's new office location, because he doesn't work at this location anymore, so he can redo my root canal treatment. To me it seems like they're either lazy or don't want to fix this problem. If the guy did mess up on my root canal, why would I want to go back to him.

Horrible service!! Yes I have denti-cal, so what! Was left in the waiting room for almost 2 hours after given the anesthesia! Before hand they told me I needed 9 fillings! Result of leaving w/only 1filling! Then of course told to reschedule cause the anesthesia wore off!! (wonder why) $1800 worth what?! No! Don't try me! Cause I had a great hmo and ppo when I was employeed just to figure out at trying times like these when you have to go to the lowest they really do give you the LOWEST service!! Shouldn't matter!! Wrong ONE!!Look at your bill no matter what!!

Went to the dentist in Jan 2021 after finally getting dental insurance for the first time in 14 years, and laid out a treatment plan given health conditions. 3 fillings, my teeth are sensitive and even I was able to tolerate all 3 done on the same day. Now, I'm 3 days post extraction and bone graft on 7 teeth (yeah, that's a LOT of work) under sedation. Everything has gone smoothly this far, pain is manageable considering the large amount of work, and I look forward to going back in 6 months to get a check up! I was in good hands going to this dentist!

Went here to check them out initially for my fillings and they were amazing. Their dentists there definitely know what they are doing and how to treat their patients. Got my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday and it went amazingly. It was over before I knew it. Wonderful service and very accommodating. Definitely my go to place from now on.

Very friendly and helpful. I wasn't sure about my benefits and a receptionist found out and let me schedule another appointment when I couldn't afford fillings at the time. The person cleaning my teeth was very considerate, let me take a break if I need to, and kept asking if I was okay. I'm going back for my fillings in 2 weeks.

I had a great experience at Newport Dental on 4.10.2021. I'm a new patient and I read many one star reviews, so I was unsure what to expect. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was courteous and helpful, the assistants followed all the COVID protocols, and the doctor was knowledgeable and patient. Thanks again for the excellent service
