Our teams are geared up (literally watch the video) to sanitize equipment, chairs, tables, door handles, countertops etc. many times a day. And we dont stop there. PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Dr. Mark Duffy returned to Ohio to begin his dental career with Bright Now Dental. This is a big deal as Ohio is ranked 12th in the nation for having a shortage of dentists and specialty dentists. Dayton and Bright Now Dental are fortunate to have Dr. Duffy as he is a dentist who is dedicated to providing affordable quality dental care in an underserved area.

The staff here are very kind. The wait isn't long when you've set an appointment. Dr. Ackermann is a great dentist. She remembers your issues even months after last seeing her. Overall good experience and would come back.

This dentistry is professional and overall neat, but I can't help but feel like they are ripping me off somehow. Their services seem extremely overpriced when I get my final charge. I've been meaning to ask for my itemized receipts to get to the bottom of things, but I'm just shocked every time I see the total for the services I've had done, even with insurance.

I absolutely love it here , everyone is very friendly! very friendly and very funny staff! ( making me feel like a kid again by making me laugh and making sure I am comfortable ) I am absolutely very afraid of the dentist, but for some reason I feel calm here. The "wisdom tooth extractor" and his assistant are very gentle and attentive . Highly recommend, and will continue my dental work here! The team deserves 100 stars!

I'm a former patient . Initially the staff was friendly. However I stopped going to this office after a couple of visits. Dentist wouldn't help me when prescribed antibiotics weren't working. I was in severe pain and was told to go to ER. Staff was rude all of a sudden. I just felt they no longer cared about my situation.

The staff here is awesome. Love that I can come in and not wait to be seen. Most offices don't work well with medi-cal for orthodontics but this office took the proper measurements and gathered all information need for my sons ortho. I highly recommend this office to everyone for orthodontic needs.

I had an emergency situation with a crown that came off due to eating a sticky food. The next morning I knew I would have to take care of it, and to double the stress I had to go out of state for a relatives (my dads) funeral in two days. I called that morning at 7:30 am and they got me in at 9 am. I was so thankful I was able to find a dentist to help in a short time frame. Dr. Ackerman and dental hygienist Maria Theresa Pawa were very competent helpful and efficient. They got my temp crown and mold for permanent done in two hours. The permanent crown looks like a natural tooth and even the temp crown looked great (thanks Maria!). Maria is so nice and her calm and soothing manner makes your visit there

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience . I waited one hour to get a 20 minutes treatment . I arrived to Newport prior to my appointment (9:00 am). Staff took me right away for x-Rays and then I moved to the room. I saw the dentist and another staff (Theresa) with a client next to my room. I was desperate because nobody came to tell me if I will be seen by the dentist later on or if have to wait because they were doing something else. I waited 1 hour and decided to go to the next room and asked then when the dentist is going to see me as I was waiting for a long period of time . The dentist (female) came and apologized. She checked my X-rays and told me what I need . It appeared that she was in a rush as she did not tell me that I was getting better or make any comments .

Dr Acherman is a great doctor who is very caring and professional! Did quality work on my teeth and got a beautiful crown. The process for the crown was smooth. Even the Endontist, Dr Shoreibah provided great care and put me at ease, he explained my procedure clearly and did not pressure me at all. The assistant "Maria" and front desk people are considerate, caring and friendly. I had a very pleasant experience. Thank you Newport Dental!

For my first visit it was nice. I asked the xray tech to explain their process for covid 19 cleaning compliance. She explained it great. I have been concerned about dental care during the pandemic. The front staff was super I am having two big services done. fingers crossed Update: I had my extraction and bone grafting done and it was a nightmare. The surgeon comes one day a week so appointments are back to back. No time to spare to comfort the patient and allow time to get numb. Adrenaline prevents this to happen quickly. The assistant was not pleasant and seemed dismissive of my feelings I was going through. I am hoping I won't need THAT SERVICE AGAIN. BUT THE REST OF THE STAFF HAS BEEN BEAUTIFUL

Great front desk service. Great experience. But, I requested a 1pm on Saturday, booked with the same time as 3 other people. After being checked, I was told they wouldn't have time to do any work cause they close at 3. When making the appointment, I should have been told about the hrs. Who has the time to continue to go to one place multiple times. Again, place was clean, atmosphere, but service was slow.

My husband was the patient.The front receptionist was very helpful and nice. The dentist was just ok. Wanted to pull several teeth including the canines saying that they couldn't be saved, however, the dentist he now sees has been able to save two of the teeth the dentist here wanted to pull. The office manager who is in charge of patient billing is incredibly unprofessional. We asked for his treatment plan for two weeks. I spoke to her after waiting on hold for almost an hour and a half and she said she would email it that day. My husband called and they never sent it. They have called twice to try and make him an appointment to get the work done but still have never sent him the treatment plan. The only good thing about them is they have weekend hours which was awesome when my husband had a major infection and needed a tooth pulled and antibiotics.
