Dr. McHarris acquired his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University Of Southern California (USC) following a Bachelors of Science degree from Loyola Marymount University and has completed and continues to pursue post-graduate training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Nevada. Dr. McHarris completed the Comprehensive Aesthetic Reconstruction program and studied under world-renowned Dr. William Dickerson, a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. While at the Institute Dr. McHarris receives intensive training including completing complex cases on live patients in an effort to deliver world class quality of care to his patients here in Newport Beach. Dr. McHarris is one of the few dentists from Newport Beach, CA (or anywhere for that matter) that has completed a program that teaches these skills. It is this continual commitment to excellence, initially instilled in him at USC that emphasizes Dr. McHarris unwavering dedication to providing his patients with only the best dental care possible.

I visited Dr McHarris this morning for the first time. He came highly recommended by several of my friends and acquaintances. He and his staff made me feel welcome, comfortable and at ease. Considering I don't care for the dental chair, that could have gone either way. If you're ever in need of dental care, you should give him a call.

Dr. McHarris is the best dentist I have ever been to! I have major anxiety when it comes to dental work because I have unusual root issues, double roots, very difficult to extract roots, I have very sensitive teeth and mouth and on top of that Novocain typically does not even work on me and I have always had to pay yo get put totally under or use nitros gas. Dr. McHarris is the only dentist that has ever been able to get me numb enough so I'm not in pain during the procedure and was able to extract two very difficult teeth in such a quick time frame all with just numbing the area, so no drugs and no gas needed! I am forever a patient of his, and he has won my trust and my utmost respect. He is very professional while still being fun to chat with and a super rad dude. I appreciate him and his team so much. His dental assistant was a woman from Ukraine that was so sweet and very good at her job as well. I am so happy I went to this Dentist Office and I highly recommend anyone that is looking for a clean, professional, trustworthy, fair dentist to come to Dr. McHarris. That's another thing I really loved about him was he was very straight forward and truthful as to what needed to be done, what was optional Vs what was a must do. He is not the least expensive one around but he is also not the most expensive and you def get high level and high quality service here. He works with care credit if you qualify for their program as well. 5+ stars!

Always a pleasant experience from the moment I walk in the door. The office has a spa like atmosphere, very friendly staff, and state of the art dentistry. Dr. McHarris has a great bedside manner & a gentle hand. They make it easy to return for regular checkups!

If you happen to have teeth or an interest In continuing to do so; This is the place to be. Lovely, friendly folks spending their day fighting decay. Recommended to all human mammals with enamel. NCD is clearly about as pleasant of a dentistry visit one could fathom. "Counter-intuitively delightful and a sure cure for odontophobia...a bridge to well-being down to the roots" 5s out of 5.

If I could give 10 starts I would. Dr. Robert McHarris is by far the most amazing Dr. I have ever been too. He makes sure your the most comfortable as well along without his assistance Jenn. She is the most sweetest ear and helped along with making me feel comfortable. I got 2 of my Wisdom teeth extracted and I will say I was beyond nervous. Dr. McHarris made sure before he started I couldn't feel anything and took his time before he got started to see if I was ready and comfortable. It was done so fast and I couldn't feel anything! I haven't never been treated so good by a Dr. before. I will definitely be recommending Dr. McHarris to my friends and family. Thank you again for the amazing treatment!

Dr. McHarris and Dr. Glass have always provided my wife and with the finest of dental care, treated both if yes with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. I personally am not an easy patient to work on, however, both Dr.s mastery and constant care during and after all procedures they have performed have been beyond exemplary. Their follow through and kindness are not to be bested by any dentist I've had the displeasure of knowing durning my many years. Truth be told, Dr. McHarris and Dr. Glass are the finest dentist in practice. I have recommended them to everyone I know that has a mouth and teeth in it. In closing, it's important that I heep hugh pike's of praise on their helpful, highly qualified, charming and courteous staff. The entire team at Dr. McHarris's office are without any doubt unrivaled in their profession. I can't express my gratitude enough, and I could go on for paragraphs how much I high respect, and more important, trust the entire staff of quintessential professionals in Dr. McHarris's practice. I thank them all. If you want the very finest in dental care, the very best the industry has to offer, them make an appointment with the only dentists I will ever allow in my mouth. Finding a dentist or a team for your dental health care that you can fully trust is not easy. I came on a sort of emergency recommended by a friend and it's been one of the few positive experiences of this crazy 2020. My impression is that they are very honest, they know what they are doing and they care. Couldn't have had a better experience with everyone in that office. Plus the music selection was also a plus. This is coming from someone that has grown a justified massive fear and aversion towards dentists. This was good. I don't take time to write reviews but this one deserved it.

Dr. McHarris was a referral from a close friend of mine. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. McHarris and his staff! They are professional, yet personable and really care about my health, opinion and happiness. They are great about working with my busy schedule and Dr. McHarris truly is informative, patient, so comfortable to talk to about your concerns and he definitely knows exactly what your intentions are in regards to achieving your ideal smile. The office is impeccable. It's clean, organized, welcoming and you have the best view from your chair whilst waiting the few short minutes for prep. I greatly recommend working with Dr. McHarris and his great team.
