Being a graduate of University of Southern California (USC) with over 20 years of dental experience, Dr. Omid Haroonian opens new opportunities in the implant, general and cosmetic dentistry in the city of Newport Beach and Orange County. He has made the Deans honor list during graduate school at USC. Dr. Haroonian has continued his close association with the USC as an active member of the faculty. He has received advanced training in implant dentistry, cosmetic, restorative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics and full mouth reconstruction.
His genuine passion for dentistry has led him to constantly study and train in the latest advancements in dentistry and bringing these innovations to his patients so that they can receive the most efficient, comfortable, accurate and lasting dentistry.
Dr. Haroonian is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Orange County Dental Society, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, andFastbraces Technology.
When he is not doing dentistry, Dr. Haroonian enjoys reading, biking and spending time with his family. He believes in giving back to the community and he donates his time to Union Rescue Mission, as well as Operation Smile.
A graduate from West Los Angeles college with honors, Nancy has been practicing dental hygiene since 2008 at The Newport Beach Dentist, and providing optimum oral care. Nancy focuses on periodontal disease, gum treatment and preventive oral care. She is a caring and gentle hygienist.

Omid was great and the receptionist was very sweet as well , I came in with a emergency tooth pain and they operated on me the same day I needed a root canal and they did it right then and there , they even matched a quote I had gotten somewhere else idk if they do that often but it was very nice of them. Will definitely be coming back here for all my dental needs

Moved to Irvine from Florida and was looking for a good dentist with reasonable prices. Great staff. Great prices. Great updated equipment that shows you exactly what's going on!!!

Dr. Haroonian is as good as he sounds in all the reviews. My front tooth had been dead for years and was on it's last leg, I woke up in the morning and it was just about ready to fall out! Met Dr. Haroonian in this emergency situation and he couldn't have handled it better. He identified the problem and solution and it has been worth every penny so far. Extraction, and screw for future implant have been a success, can't wait for the final product. You can tell when someone has so much experience and repetition in their work, a trait you can only hope for with most dentists.

Great dentist. Highly recommend. I've had teeth issues all my life. Finally found a dentist That I trust and fixes things with minimal pain and is very proactive. Teeth look great better than best. Thanks Doc. And Nancy makes cleaning a breeze.

Very pleasant place, Christine , Nancy super nice. It was my first visit , and If you are looking for a dentist, I recommend that you try Newport Beach Dentist. Also , plenty of parking space close to the office. Thank you to all of you at the Newport Beach Dentist

My experience with Dr. Haroonian was absolutely wonderful. Everyone in the office is so friendly and caring. When I went to see him I had dentures that were a terrible fit and painful. For two years I could hardly eat anything. Dr. Haroonian convinced me that implants were the way to go. He was so right. Today I ate an apple. It was so nice to be able to eat again. Not only is he an awesome dentist, he is also a very nice person. I know this will sound crazy but I actually enjoyed going to the dentist THANK YOU DOCTOR HAROONIAN. YOU'RE THE BEST

Dr. Haroonian and staff is the best! Receptionist lady is super sweet (sorry I forgot your name!). My crown fell off and the tooth needed to be extracted. Little did I know, my wisdom tooth right next to it needed to be pulled too due to a really bad cavity. He told me I would feel a little pressure but literally a minute later, he told me he was done. I asked him if he just took one tooth out but he did both! I didn't even feel a thing! Dr. Haroonian makes going to the dentist a breeze. Lets face it, dentist appointments are never a fun thing to go to but I will definitely be coming back here soon! Thank you so much Dr. Haroonian!!! You're the best!

You're searching for a dentist, so schedule your appointment here! Office staff is polite and responsive. Both the hygienist and the doc were professional, considerate and straightforward. I just had a new patient visit w/ x-rays, a full mouth deep clean and some gumline fillings over the course of 2 days & am very satisfied. You should always choose experience over flashy "modern dentistry," so what are you waiting for?!? Bonus: if you're in the 880 complex, it couldn't be more convenient, across the street. 5*

I had a broken tooth on Friday night coming into the Christmas holiday. My regular dentist was closed. Even though I was a brand new patient Dr. Haroonian made time to see me over the weekend, even as he was on his way out of town. He did a root canal and crown and I experienced almost no pain at all. I was very impressed with both he and Nancy. They checked on me multiple times after the visit to make sure that I was doing ok. I would highly recommend Dr H to anyone looking for a dentist.

I've been going here for years now, and they've definitely earned their 5 star rating. The office is clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and Dr. Haroonian does excellent work. From routine cleanings, to crown fittings, to teeth whitening, I have always received exceptional service here. I would definitely recommend Dr. Haroonian to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr Haroonian is absolutely amazing - his skill and experience was exceptional. I needed a root canal that was very complex and time consuming due to the level of infection from a recent wisdom tooth extraction. The process was completely painless, and Dr Haroonian was so kind and committed to saving the tooth. The root canal process was actually very interesting to watch as a patient - it takes a lot of skill to do this kind of work and I am now completely pain free with the tooth and the Patient both very happy! The office Staff is also the best - I was a new Patient obviously in tremendous pain and they happily got me on the Doctor's schedule the same day! This was my first root canal (or major dental emergency) and it was a great experience! Highly recommend!
