Dr. Patel grew up in Shelton, Connecticut and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Philosophy from Boston University. She attended University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Upon getting her D.M.D. degree, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Dr. Patel is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Patel stays current with new technology and evolving dental care through continuing education courses. Because of her commitment to her profession, Dr. Patel was awarded her fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2018 and her Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry is 2020. Only 2% of general dentists have received this honor. The Mastership Award is the highest honor available in the AGD and one of the most respected designations in the profession. This accomplishment meets the highest criteria for professional excellence. To accomplish this, Dr. Patel completed more than 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in the 16 disciplines of dentistry, including 400 hours dedicated to hands-on skills and techniques. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Patel has joined 2,208 members of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements.

Family is the most important part of Dr. Patels life and a great source of happiness. Dr. Patel is happily married and the mother of 2 beautiful daughters. In her spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys playing tennis, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family!

Dr. Jacobo grew up in Mexico and moved with her family to Dalton, Georgia while she was a teenager. Dr. Jacobo attended Georgetown University in Washington D.C where she received her Masters in Science Degree and attended the Dental College of Georgia and received her D.M.D Degree.

Dr. Jacobo is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Georgia Dental Association. She is an avid learner and is always striving to provide the very best care to her patients by attending continuing education courses.

Dr. Jacobo loves being a dentist and believes that through patient education and attention to detail, her patients can expect a healthy, beautiful smile. In her spare time, you can find Dr. Jacobo and her husband on the hiking trails with their dog Milo! She looks for any opportunity to be outside whether it be running or gardening. She also enjoys yoga and painting.

Kelly graduated with her Associate of Science from the University of Georgia in 1984 and got her Bachelor of Science in Dental hygiene from The Medical College of Georgia graduating with summa cum laude in 1986. Kelly enjoys staying up to date in the dental field by taking continuing education courses and was on Colgates Oral Health Advisory Board in 2016. She loves educating her patients on their oral health and believes that creating a healthy oral environment leads to overall better health. Kelly loves her career as a dental hygienist and considers all her patients as family. Now that Kellys children are grown, she and her husband love being able to jump in their car for a spur of the moment week-end trip! Kelly also enjoys shopping for antiques, baking, and spoiling her 3 grandchildren.

Kristi started as a dental assistant and continued her education in dental hygiene where she graduated from Lanier Technical College in 2010 giving her over 16 years in the dental field. Kristi is very dedicated to the dental health care profession and making sure all her patients feel comfortable and leave her chair loving their smile. On the weekends you can find her cheering for her daughter during softball tournaments, going on dancing dates with her husband, and spending time with her family!

Jessica is one of our friendly and talented patient coordinators, who has over 18 years of experience working in a dental office. Jessica is very dependable and an amazing team player, and our patients enjoy seeing her familiar face when they visit our office. She understands the importance of office etiquette and loves to be able to interact with the patients. Jessica is the proud mom to 2 handsome boys. In her free time, she enjoys antiquing, bowling, and taking her dog, Charlie, for walks! She also finds archeology interesting as she enjoys digging up the past!

Our patient coordinator, Taylor, joined our practice in 2021 with more than 5 years experience in the dental industry. She loves being able to interact and build relationships with our patients. Taylor is happily married and the proud mommy to her daughter! She finds joy in taking old furniture and transforming it into something new. Taylor is an avid animal lover, crafter and when not behind the desk you can find her and her family on the lake!

Rhiannon has been a dental assistant since 2016, when she graduated with her Expanded Duties at West Georgia Technical College. Upon graduation she was offered the position to be Dr. Patels dental assistant. You will find that she is compassionate, able to put her patients at ease and ensures a positive dental experience. Rhiannon loves traveling with her husband, shopping, and spending time with her family.
