Dr. Bishai grew up in Redmond, WA and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. Knowing from an early age she wanted to pursue a career dentistry, Dr. Bishai attended the UW School of Dentistry. Having a special interest in medicine and treating medically compromised patients, she then gained extra training through a one year hospital-based General Practice Residency at the UW. Dr. Bishai has participated in many local and international dental outreach programs, including a trip to Bolivia treating children in the Amanecer orphanage system. Dr. Bishai, her husband and her two young sons live in the Newcastle area.
Dr. Strange was raised in Washington State and graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He has been practicing family dentistry in the Northwest for over 25 years. He prides himself on listening to his patients concerns and keeping abreast of the latest dental techniques to serve their needs. He was one of the first dentists on the Eastside to be involved with micro-abrasion dentistry, the technology that makes it possible to place fillings without anesthetic shots. Additionally, he has was one of the first to incorporate Cerec technology and digital radiographs into his practice.
Dr. Michael Lee is a Washington State native and grew up in Kent, WA. He attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate studies and graduated with a doctorate from the UW School of Dentistry. His interest in treating children led him to pursue a pediatric residency, which he also completed through the University of Washington. This residency program provided training in all aspects of pediatric care including childhood development, preventive care, behavior management, conscious sedation, dental trauma and care of children with special health care needs.
Newcastle Dentistry has been caring for the families of Newcastle, WA, for over 25 years.The skilled and friendly staff at Newcastle Dentistry includes four dental assistants, four hygienists and three front desk administrators. Best hygienist ever at Newcastle Dentistry named Simone. Not only efficient but she was also cheerful, considerate, and a nicest person I've ever had the honor to know. I know a lot of outstanding wonderful people and the receptionists and others there are also great.

10/10. I had a cracked molar and they were able to get me in quickly to get it taken care of. I have had poor experiences with dentists in the past and this was such a great experience. I was told everything as it happened and felt very at ease.

Just had my cleaning done since the pandemic started and the staff were nice and very professional, especially Jill that took care of me very well. By the way I loved the massage they have on the chair!

I had a new-to-me hygienist today, as I had to change my original apt. Julia was a pleasant surprise. She was very thorough, so invested, and I could tell how knowledgeable she is. Julia picked up 2 major issues during the cleaning. She asked me about them, and then directed the dentist to them. She even corrected the dentist during my check up. The dentist mislabeled my tooth, as she forgot to account for the wisdom teeth. Julia said, "which tooth did you say? don't you mean tooth number x"? I was grateful that Julia was on top of matters. She then directed the dentist to another area of concern. I was really impressed by Julia's dedication to a random patient, and her investment in my oral health. Once the apt was done, we discussed the issues further, and Julia took the time to draw a diagram, and educate me on how to best care for the problem areas. Usually, you get up and go, but she stayed back to ensure that I had all the info. Thank you so much Julia!

The best crown I have in my mouth is from here. Dr. Bishai is wonderful. No tempary crown, just permanent. I was able to bite, chew etc the next day and have had no issues at all. I wish she would have done the other one I have. All the staff are great from the front desk, dental assistants to the hygienists. I highly recommend Newcastle Dentistry. I've been coming here over a year now and all I can say is I only wish I would have come sooner.

I've been a patient of Dr Strange for awhile now and he always goes above and beyond. He has an excellent team and he is very polite and respectful to them which I think says a lot about him! His hygienist Lisa is amazing, very calm, kind and willing to answer any questions you may have. She definitely puts you at ease. Thank you to his whole staff, front and back, you are all amazing!!

Dependable local practice - Worked with Dr Strange and his assistant for the last two years. I have enjoyed quality cleaning every quarter. Dr Strange has also preformed several crowns and a bridge on my mouth all without surprises and pain. The atmosphere of the office is relaxed and friendly with a good system to remind patients of appointments. Very good coordination between the hygienist, the doctor and the outside oral surgeon they refer patients to.....
