Several years ago, after having a bad experience with several other dentists, I switched to Dr. Fung. He's the kindest, honest, most knowledgeable and professional dentist I've ever encountered. His staff is extremely nice and helpful. They all go above and beyond to make their patients feel comfortable and welcome.

Dr. Fung is the best dentist in Ventura county there's no questions about it hands down. The down fall is the reception staff. They Schedule you a appointment for almost 1,000 dollars worth the work without giving you and estimate prior and expect you not to be shocked to hear these numbers. I understand I need to have a crown done but clearly explain that before scheduling the appointment don't spring it on them hours before the appointment. Also I scheduled 2 cleanings 1 for me 1 one for my wife. They got me cleaned but told my wife she wants scheduled witch was not true they just over booked and my wife was the one neglected. I love Dr Fung but I might not be returning to his office anymore not worth the headache.

I love Dr. Fung! He's so nice and gentle and has twice saved me in dental emergencies. He's very professional and explains procedures so you can understand. The front office can be a little frustrating but they are always nice.

Dr. Fung is nice, but the front office is very deceptive. She slab on extra service charges that I never received. This is second time I had issue with my billing. I brought the bill into the office at least several times, but she always nicely refused to correct it. It's very time consuming dealing with her. I guess my whole family's years of loyalty stop here. There should be more honest dentist office in this little community.

Dr Fung is a very talented, professional, and caring doctor. Quality work, and explained procedures and care plan very well. I was enjoying working with him and with his awesome team.

Dr. Fung is extremely competent and advanced in his ability to provide exceptional dentistry. I have been to many and he is absolutely hands down awesome!!! My teenager loves him and that is a difficult feat!

I took my dad to Dr. Fung's office for a very complex implant case and Dr. Fung has made it so easy. I was trying to find the right office that could handle his tough case and I am so glad that I found Dr. Fung. His team is awesome and his bedside manner is amazing. He has been very patient with my dad to listen to all his needs and concerns. He has also been very accommediating with my dad's busy schedule. In the end my Dad and I have been overjoyed at the results. His mouth is better than it has been in over 30 years and he is now able to do things he has not been able to do in a long time. I would recommend this office to anyone. Dr Fung and his team are the best!

we were new residents to southern California 2 years ago. My husband broke his front tooth and needed to see someone right away. From the moment we met with Dr. Fung and his team we knew we found the right dental office. Dr. Fung made my husband feel like he was his only patient. He took the time to explain what was happening with his tooth and options for treating his dental needs. Everyone in the office was helpful in making his experience be the best! My family have all started coming here. Thank you Dr. Fung and your staff for making our family feel so welcomed and comfortable here.

Dr. Fung came to town after I already had an established relationship with another dentist. But when our insurance provider changed and I needed someone in-network for a crown, I decided to give him a try. The building is not impressive from the street, but the location is awesome (right off the 101 at Wendy next to a coffee shop) and the front door is like a portal to a high-end spa -- the decor is serene and thoughtful. There was a single-serve coffee maker and a bowl of individually wrapped chocolate dipped biscotti for the taking (yay, snacks!). All the ladies at the front desk were friendly and efficient. They verified my insurance and coverages on the spot so there wouldn't be any surprise bills after the fact. The dental chairs even were covered in pillowy memory foam cushions to make them ultra-relaxing. Dr. Fung himself is a very soft-spoken guy with some sort voodoo-like calming aura, kind eyes and a huge smile (who would imagine he plays hockey?!). He took the time to draw (by hand) a sketch of what I needed done (since I had no clue what a crown involved), and even prescribed a sedative because of my dental anxiety. Dr. Fung has some neat equipment, too. He used a fiber optic camera on the end of a little handle to take pictures of all the surfaces of my teeth. It's digital, of course, so the images immediately popped up on the screen at my chair. That was amazing! (It turns out I'm a pretty bad teeth-grinder, and we could see all the worn spots, cracks and chips via the fiber cam. Why did my previous dentist never notice/mention this?!) Anyway, the crown appointment went off without a hitch. I was in and out (of consciousness, thanks to the meds, ha!), though if I had to do it again, I may not even need them because the doc and the shop are so low stress (no stark white or medicinal smell). Another nice thing about this office is that you can do it all here, from routine cleanings to cosmetic procedures. So, if you're looking for a new dentist, Dr. Fung will not disappoint.

When I was a kid, I broke off the majority of my two front teeth going down a water slide. My childhood dentist had built up my teeth with composite, but I was now ready to get them replaced with veneers. Dr. Fung put veneers on six of my front teeth and they look natural and beautiful! I liked the caring way that he spent time with me discussing all my options and the staff were warm and helpful. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Fung!
