Nice people, but there's no one in that office that can do insurance forms. I've been waiting over 5 months for crowns. They keep sending in the forms with the wrong name, wrong member ID number, or simply without the information at all...I was supposed to get a bridge put in 3 years ago and I finally gave up. They never gave me an answer and never returned my calls. ..I finally got a call back last month and I'm hoping my Crowns are on the way. If not, I'm finding another dentist. I really hate giving bad reviews, but how can you have a medical office and not have anyone that can handle insurance?

The Dentist there goes by Dr. Alex,.. as his last name is less fun to say. He's EXCELLENT. From his non-stop humor that quickly puts one at ease, to his small touches that make all the difference, like numbing your mouth with a small amount of (novacain..?) numbing stuff before giving the full injection. I've had 3 bad dentist experiences, back 2 back, before stumbling upon this place. I couldn't be happier nor can i brag enough. I'm SMILING! ~Thx Dr Alex,... you totally rock! C. Lee Rivera

The thought of a dental visit raises my blood pressure . This was my first time meeting Dr Megadesh, so my plan was to chat with him then get out of there until my nerves would allow me to return. However Dr Megadesh was prompt, personable and professional. He explained what was to be done so calm and clearly I decided to proceed right then. It was totally painless. I had worked myself up for naught! Thank you Dr Megadesh! You are my new favorite Dentist!

After having an admittedly awful end-of-day cleaning here, the office reached out and scheduled me for a free cleaning to make up for the issue. I also had a very quick and painless filling here today by Dr. Alex (who rocks), and I will confidently say that if you have a negative experience here, just let them know and they will make it right for you.

I can not believe that an office with this kind of rating, allow their secretaries to be so rude. I pay 226 a month for my insurance and I call for a dentist and I ask if they take my insurance, and she states " Sorry, we don't accept welfare insurance!" First of all, I'm not on welfare. I make more then they do in a week, but I pay for my insurance Fidelis Care bc that's what I can afford and that's what these people say to me. Rude and offensive

Newburgh dental has a staff of caring and professional dentist that do a phenomenal job they are great group of people the receptionists are phenomenal if you have an appointment and they get an earlier appointment they contact you they're just great I'm not used to having such great service if you haven't give them a try I strongly urge it they are a great dental group. And they have an on-staffed root canal specialist they are full service dental group I give them 100% thumbs up

Tooth pain is nothing to be triffled with. The one star is because I couldn't give a lower rating. In excruciating pain, I went there and explained that I wanted my tooth pulled. I was informed that the infection was too severe to perform a root canal, which I did not request. The dentist came in and basically discussed root canal, caps, and tried to sell me other products that were not related to the issue at hand. Respect to the nurse who pressed that she wouldn't keep trying to take more pictures and do a "full workup" like the doctor recommended because she could see that I was in pain.. I am a human being... not just a dollar sign. That tooth was severely damaged and needed extraction. It felt like it was all about the money and not my pain. My husband calls to ask what went on because I came home within 30 mins of my appointment time, crying because of the experience and the agony that was yet to be resolved. The dentist tried to clean up his act once he heard that someone was advocating my behalf, stating that he gave me a documents for a referal to go and see another specialist. That never happened. Prior to leaving I requested a copy of the X-ray from a clerk. (My name was even spelled incorrectly in their system ... ) He hung up and confers with the front desk and informs that "sure she can have an extraction if she wants", but never offered the person in pain that option. His exact words in there were " no you need a root canal and a cap. You don't need an extraction" when my husband gets in the phone it's " oh what ever she wants to do, I'll send her over to whomever so they can take care of it" I felt voiceless and had no one stood up and advocated for me, the response would've been, suffer in agony for 2 days. Find another facility who cares to respect your pain.

Did good work but deceived me..took my insurance card made a copy did my cleaning. Brought me in for 2 fillings and then asked for full payment of services. AETNA did not accept out of network and paid 42.00 on a 450.00 bill. My old dentist...(my dentist on rt 300 ) closed and they referred old clients to the new dentist.Newburgh Dental Group..Alexander Polavsky..I feel I was lied to and led to believe I had coverage and would be covered 100% by my insurance. I'm more upset they waited to tell me until after I was treated . Unethical way to do business..blindsided .will go to another practice regardless of the quality of work since I won't do business with N.D Group because of this shady practice.

Newburgh Dental was my dentist for almost 10 years when I had Blue Cross Blue shield coverage with the Union. They are not the dentist to trust. My husband had a brain tumor and due to complications lost coverage with the union and we became Medicaid patients. As soon as we were Medicaid patients all of a sudden the crown I needed and the cleanings I needed every 6 months were no longer necessary they literally told me to come back in a year and get a cleaning. I got a very bad infection in the root canal that they did not crown and they literally had the audacity to tell me that it is my fault for not scheduling it while I had coverage. Thankfully I went to a good honest new dentist and he not only put me on better antibiotics which Newburgh Dental had not even put me on enough antibiotics for the infection from the root canal but he also told me that if it healed enough I might not need to have the tooth pulled of course Newburgh Dental did not tell me that. They tripled the price from the other dentist for having a bridge they tripled the price for having an implant everything about them is all about the money they do not even care about the patient for them to actually try to make me feel guilty for not getting a crown when I had coverage was ridiculous. I highly recommend going to anyone else I am very sad that I got duped by these people for years they are not honest dentist they are in it for the money , do not trust these people, I wish I had had this advice earlier.

They don't value your time but put you on hold for 20 minutes. So I do not go here anymore but the 2-3 times I did staff was rude. But I just decided not to write a review until now. I requested dental xrays because I needed an emergency filling due to the one i had breaking and falling out while I was flossing. I called and asked for records to be sent to my new dentist and the girl said ok she would send a patient consent form to release my documents. She never sent it. I called back 2 hours as I was able to get an appt the same day. I called and spoke to TIFFANY. She was amazing. So helpful and genuine. She sent me the release form immediately. And followed up to make sure I received it. And I sent it back and waited. I called back because my appt time was approaching and I spoke to another girl and asked to speak to Tiffany. She put me on hold for 20 MINUTES! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LONGER IF I DID NOT HANG UP!!! I'm now at the dentist and I call back and thank God TIFFANY answers. She apologizes because she did not even know I was on hold. She ended up getting me the xrays sent. It was after my fill but she did all she could do. I wish I knew the two other receptionist names. Work in a warehouse if you don't even care enough to email a simple consent form. I'm disgusted by the staff there. I was disgusted when I was a patient and I'm disgusted now. Host a class on customer service. TIFFANY. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH. I APPRECIATE YOU AND WISH I COULD GIFT YOU SOMETHING FOR CHRISTMAS. It was an unorganized waiting game when I was a patient and it still is now. TIFFANY. Thank you again Happy Holidays!
