Very nice and fun themed clinic! My kiddos enjoy it! We have been going here for awhile and we love Dr. Newport! He works great with my kids every time. I like the staff and the atmosphere, I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else.

The front desk staff has been nothing but problematic since we started care here. They don't understand simple requests. Scheduling siblings together in advance is too confusing for the front desk. If you leave a message inquiring about changing your appointment they will cancel it without ever confirming that you do want to change it. Completely incompetent front staff. Avoid at all costs. As someone who worked in dental administration for 16 years I can't imagine imagine their insurance billing. Just avoid at all costs.

Newberg Dental Clinic has a great atmosphere for children that contributed to a positive experience. The staff were helpful and informative. The dentist was great with my childs needs and explained what my childs care moving forward would be. We have been to other clinics and nothing compares to Newberg clinic and those helping making the experience great. Appreciate the care and kindness from all.

This dentist is by far the best! I brought my daughter in today and the anesthesiologist team did an amazing job. Staff was very caring and helpful! Dr. Newport did amazing work and did a fantastic job! Highly recommend this dentist!

This place should not take in children, I had a child who got cabs put on her teeth, When we moved and went to a new dentist the new dentist asks me to call the old dentist and have them remove the cops from her teeth and this kid dentistry refused to Undo the caps and damage that they did to her teeth! Even when it is not myself that is asking them to remove the caps from her teeth but another dentist is asking them to remove the caps from her teeth and they are refusing! This is a child that we are talking about not an adult a child got caps put on her teeth and the dentist that put the caps on her teeth are refusing to take them off even when the new.dentist is telling me that the cops were put on wrong!!! How can you treat a child like this!?!

HORRIBLE SHAMEFUL TREATMENT OF OUR FAMILY! Front office staff gave me panic attack & actually tried to keep us there after thin office lady with long dark curly hair( i forget her name but she's a main secretary) brittany was the ONLY nice front office lady! I'll explain all that happened : I called for emergency appointment for my 5yr old with broken painful tooth, very First call i was left on hold 15 minutes and just couldn't hold anymore i had to get back to work, i called back & had spoken regarding our immediate emergent dental needs & insurance was accepted but I'd need to just switch the ppo, i was bounced between 2 people to discuss what was needed to satisfy their insurance billing, so i called my insurance & had emergency switch started which I was told would be finalized prior to appt day which was days out, & it'd be Retroactive & cover the emergency visit & all treatment needed, I then called again to inform front desk lady that I had switched & she CLEARLY state she would check the insurance coverage by end of the next business day to confirm the switch and CALL ME BACK IF THERE WAS ANY ISSUE WITH COVERAGE OF VISIT i.e. primarily if the switch hadn't been made yet so I could gather the cash for all needed aspects of visit which sadly I'd need to borrow as last resort, and since I'm single mom hit hard by covid shutdown this year paying out of pocket would be a little painful and if avoidable great as we do have insurance coverage! I never once felt like my child's health was most important only like money and their time was priority! Sad way to treat families ESPECIALLY regarding children's emergency dental needs!! So my youngest had insurance they accepted and no issue there, once we got there the cold hearted office lady which long dark curly hair was so cold & uncaring & when discussion came up RE insurance i reminded her that she agreed to call me back before appt day if i needed to pay cash, she said yea well you called us several times & i said yes i did but you didn't call me back as promised, she was argumentative & NOT customer service oriented only money MATTERED! I mentioned the 3 plus hour round trip dangerous drive that we made there, certainly wouldn't have done unprepared if I'd known there was an issue with coverage, she didn't care, only further snooty attitude towards me. once we were taken back, the blonde assistant lady was sweet & great with my girls & even apologized for front office, & handled my girls well, once seated doctor came in & i had a detailed chat with him about the entire situation & asked him if he'd agree to allow my insurance to cover today's visit before requiring cash payment from me, he agreed No problem, i was pleased how he treated both my girls but my 2 yr old cried she was frightened by him but she's sensitive, I was not pleased with the way doctor treated the sweet blondie dental assistant in front of patients, he acted like she was a hyper child & told her to settle down & it was not professional to do that in front of us! Then my daughter was sent home with aching broken tooth, 2yr old has broken front tooth due to bad grinding, both girls were just looked at quickly & I didn't agree with him saying we should just leave 2YR olds tooth another 3 MONTHS without fixing! & he didn't address pain my 5yr has! Upon discharge front desk stated they wanted cash & i told them i spoke to doctor & they treated me like a thief & wouldn't let us leave & said i had to wait for doctor to come out & confirm again, This point im shaking from the stress & my 2yr old is crying & wants dinner, finally i told them doctor could call me if he needed to & they got all weird & said i had to wait & started rushing around like i was fleeing with stolen Goods! Unbelievable treatment of my family!! Let me just add that I'VE worked in dental field since 2013 though just recently returned to work, I would NEVER EVER dare treat my patients this way, SHAME ON YOU@Newberg kids dentistry YOU'LL GET YOUR MONEY For TODAY, BUT NO MORE BUSINESS, GREED IS SHAMEFUL!!!

Oh wow. Just wow... Firstly, when you walk in, you're greeted by some of the most welcoming, respectful, caring, and honestly interested staff I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with! Then your kiddo gets to pick out their choice out of a handful of really great new kid movies they have listed, and at the end of course is their treasure room to pick from, BUT if they wear a special gifted shirt on their next visit, then they'll get two treasures lol, its great incentive and has definitely brightened the normally dreaded requirement of going back to the dentist. The assistants and dentist are extremely laid back (which helped us relax), didn't rush anything and asked so many questions, so they were able to help in very specific ways! It was incredible the amount of care and concern that was shown as they joked and listened to my 7yr old about random tooth facts and as she totally went off topic a few times, yet the entire time we were inside that building, I felt like my daughter was center focus, which is how it should be when a paitwnt goes into a medical facility, and that both her and my concerns were actually heard, and in most cases, reduced to minor worries by the simplified and sincere way we were given call the detailed information

Took my 2 year old daughter here for her first dental check up. The hygienist did a great job of showing her everything and letting her get comfortable/see how it worked. Dr. Newport was fun and gentle with her, putting her at ease and talking her through what he was doing. It was a quick and easy appointment. The receptionists were quick and helpful both in setting up the appointment, letting me know what to bright, and getting us checked in. My daughter loved that she got to watch a movie while they looked at her teeth, enjoyed the waiting area with lots of toys, and was excited to pick out a new little toy in the lobby after she was finished. We're looking forward to bringing her back for her next check up.

Every assistant is wonderful to me and my kiddo. My son is almost 3 and has been going here for nearly 2 years now and each time is better than the next. We enjoy and trust Newberg Kids' Dentist.

All the the team was wonderful. They know well how to control kids while doing their job. My kids both loved their experience there is never any fear and they love amazing atmosphere. I highly recommend them

If you have children that might be nervous or have anxiety about visiting the dentist , I would highly recommend the Newberg Kid's Dentist . The staff is extremely kind . Kid friendly from waiting room to the chair.

Dr. Newport and his staff are hands down THE BEST! The front desk staff are super friendly and always helpful when it comes to rescheduling. The play area/waiting room is always tidy and has fun things for the kiddos to play with while they wait, although we've never waited beyond 5 minutes. Children get to pick a movie to watch while they are having their checkup and or cleaning and I believe this really sets the tone for them, it gives them something to look forward and not be nervous. Parents are invited to come back and sit while their child has their cleaning or check up. The Dental assistants and hygienist are super friendly and make each child feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Newport is phenomenal! I have never met a dentist so kind, so loving, so patient and so ready to serve his patients. He and his staff blow my mind each time. In fact, my kids try to find reasons to go to see the dentist. Dr. Newport has a way about him that makes the visit so fun, he truly turns a time of fear in some children into a time of fun. I don't know many who can turn fear into fun, but he has. We actually moved about an hour away, but I refuse to switch our dental provider, because this office is that AMAZING. There are some things that I will sacrifice, but excellent care is not one of them.

This place was great for my 3 year old son. They had tons of toys for kids to play with while we waited. Once it was time for us to head back they made the process very fun for my son. They had stickers/tokens rewards to buy toys with. The process only took a little over 30min. My son didn't want to leave when the appointment was over.

Well what a day has been! My daughter went in to get two teeth extracted and I was the one who ended being provided with the most care! I highly recommend Newberg kid's dentist because the environment is so welcoming and the staff has been so caring and compassionate! Thank you so much for taking care of my daughter's needs and mine too today! You guys are incredibly kindhearted and so helpful! Thank you again!
