Would like to thank Dr. Stoner, Dr. Basali, Tara, Carolyn, Taylor and Shayla for the excellent treatment and care for my 88 year old mother that needed 2 teeth extracted ASAP. I would recommend this practice to anyone needing periodontal services.

I was referred to Dr. Ferriol by Dr. Alexandrunas at Premier Dental in Granville. I had a great experience with Dr. Ferriol and the entire staff at Newark Periodontics. Everyone was kind, professional and very thorough. I am someone (like many people) who is not a big fan of having invasive dental work done. I can say that my experience was actually pleasant and the procedure was completely painless. Highly recommend!

I have been to several dental facilities in my lifetime, and this office by far exceeded my expectations. The staff are absolutely the kindest and most informative I have ever seen. Other dental facilities should tour this office to witness what a great customer experience looks like.

Great experience with Doctor Maria. Her and her staff worked hard to minimize discomfort and really cared about my situation. Couldn't have been happier with the care I recieved, they made sure I understood everything they were doing and why it was necessary. I experienced no pain during the procedure and had to be woke up when it was over.

I found the practice after an initial consult with another periodontist that I connected with through my general dentist. After an appointment and receiving the treatment plan, I realized that they were out of network for dental insurance and my copay would require me to split the services for three gum grafts over two calendar years to optimize the insurance contribution. I then searched for other options and came across Newark Periodontics. The front office team was exceptional from my first call, got me scheduled quickly, and was extremely friendly and supportive. During my consult, Dr. Krietzer and his assistant were very professional and patient with my questions and anxiety regarding the recommended procedure. Most importantly, Dr. Krietzer and his team are highly skilled and do amazing work, for which I am very grateful. I highly recommend this practice!

I am very please with my service from Newark Periodontics and Dental Implants. When I started at Newark Periodontics Dr Bauman was still running the practice. He retired! Dr. Maria became my new periodontist. I was concerned that half way through my jaw bone implant and my implant inserts for the teeth, I was now having a new doctor! I have been very pleased with Dr. Maria. She is professional and personable. She made me feel comfortable and explained what was occurring. The thing about this transition I was most impressed with is they retained the staff that was there when I started: From the front office staff to the dental assistant, they are helpful, friendly, and willing to answer questions and help you thru the process. That is a plus for me. Yes, the process in my case took a year. Do not fall for the same day insert talk. I had a jaw bone that needed beefed up to support an implant. To do it properly a bone bone implant was needed and that bone implant needs time to fuse and that requires months. The reward, I now have 2 teeth where I did not have teeth. I am not limited to what side of my mouth I chew on.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Details . . . I was referred to Dr. Kreitzer for a gum graft. Honestly, this was something I had been putting off for 5 years. Every 6 months I would go to get my teeth cleaned at my dentist and every 6 months he would tell me I needed a gum graft. It sounded dreadful and I kept saying I would do it next time. Finally, he told me it was either a graft or risk losing my tooth. I made an appointment and went in for an evaluation. He and the entire staff were professional, courteous, and very kind given how nervous I was and how many questions I had. After answering everything, I agreed to the procedure which was scheduled for the next week. I should also note that I am writing this as COVID19 is an ongoing pandemic and I was very impressed with the safety protocols they were observing. If you are the sort that thinks masks are a conspiracy and the virus is a hoax, you will be annoyed but, if like me, you think the virus is real and we must be careful, you will be happy to know they are limiting the numbers inside at once, taking temperature checks, requiring masks, and cleaning spaces regularly. I felt very comfortable with the precautions they took. The procedure: I was really worried about pain but there was virtually none. There was a tiny pinch for a needle for numbing the area on the roof of my mouth where they would harvest the tissue (not bad since they put a numbing agent on as a salve beforehand) but otherwise, during the entire procedure I could only feel a slight pulling sensation but no pain. After it was over, they gave me a prescription for antibiotics and a pain killer. I took the antibiotics and the first pain pill but didn't have any pain so didn't bother using the pain pills after that. It's a bit annoying for several weeks since you shouldn't talk much and you need to have soft foods (avoiding hot things if possible) but otherwise, no problem. After that, it was mostly normal. In 5 weeks I had the stitches removed and it is really good. I have already recommended him to a friend who needed a gum graft and would use him again (and not wait 5 years) if I needed another gum graft in the future.
