Dr. Jiafeng Gu earned his medical degree from Fudan University in China in 2004. After earning his Ph.D. degree in molecular biology from University of Southern California, he went on to attend Columbia University for his DDS degree. He then finished orthodontic specialty training from The Ohio State University with a Master of Science degree.
Dr. Gu has demonstrated commitment to providing people with beautiful and confident smiles with state of art techniques. He received numerous academic awards, including New York Academy of Dentistry Exemplary Professional Conduct Award, Academy of Operative Dentistry Award and Milton G. Schlesinger Research Excellence Award etc. He was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society at Columbia University. He served as oral session chair at 2011 IADR general session in San Diego. He has published more than 10 scientific articles and presented at multiple conferences. His most recent research on Invisalign has been published by the prestigious journal American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and has been featured with a video interview in the journal.
Dr. Gu is a Board Certified Orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics. Of all the orthodontists, only about 1/3 are board certified. He is a preferred provider with Invisalign. He is also a member of American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association.

I would recommend Newark Orthodontics to anyone looking or that needs braces i had my braces through them years ago and my son just finished his treatment which was great they are very knowledgeable and professional. My son need alot of work and his teeth look amazing.

I understand that this is a Dentist office for kids .And remember they are kids are not Audlts .and thing happen in people life.you shouldn't yell at kids about things they can not control.i wouldn't go there if it was the last places on Earth. And the mount of money they charge you for the service Is ridiculous . It take a lot for me to say something but family is off limits to people like you .so for this you get a 1 star rating I wish I could go lower.
