He received his D.M.D. From Tufts School of Dentistry in 1976. He was a chief resident of LIJH Medical Center and has remained on active service in the dental clinics of both North Shore University Hospital and LIJ Medical Center.
In 1982, Dr. Sylvan worked on the development of the etched porcelain veneer. Since that time he has pioneered the technique and lectured nationally and internationally. He published some of the early articles on the development of porcelain veneers. This technique can correct many of the cosmetic concerns our patients present with.
On April 30th 2014, Dr. Sylvan was the dentist selected to be the honoree at the 2014 Physicians and Dentists United Jewish Appeal ceremony. The award is presented by North Shore and Long Island Jewish Hospitals.
He was an attending at Queens Hospital from 1990-2002. He has been practicing at Barstow Medical Center, Great Neck, and 945 Lexington Avenue in Manhattan for 24 years. Dr. Mondello is experienced in full mouth reconstruction, cosmetic dentistry and implantology and has lectured extensively on these topics.
Dr. Feldman, DDS, FICOI received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from School of Dental Medicine of SUNY at Stony Brook. He then continued his training at the Veterans Affairs Hospital of New York Harbor as a General Practice Resident.
After graduation Dr. Feldman has pursued numerous post-graduate studies and has received training from worlds leading educators in the field of dentistry. He is a Graduate of Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry at NYU where he spent two years studying and mastering oral implantology and complexities of most natural, aesthetic teeth restorations.
Dr. Feldman has also achieved a Fellow status of International Congress of Oral Implantology ICOI, which is granted only after extensive academic and clinical training and demonstration of excellent clinical skills of placement and aesthetically restoring dental implants. He is one of very few dentist who have achieved this professional status.
Currently Dr. Feldman is practicing along side with Dr. Stephen Sylvan and Dr. Thomas Mondello who are leading authorities in the field of cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Feldman is also a part time clinical associate at the department of Continuing Education, Clinic of Implant Dentistry at New York University.
He then continued his training as a General Practice Resident at North Shore University Hospital where he received extensive and innovative training in Implants, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Endodontics, Pediatrics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, and Emergency Treatment in both the Clinical and Operating Room setting.

New York Dental Partners is a 5 STAR practice. The level of professionalism by all staff is second to none; Dr. Mondello and his team are superb. I recently had an appointment for a cleaning with Sandy and, being a healthcare professional, I was extremely impressed with their CoVid practice precautions incorporated in the most seamless manner prior to arrival on day of visit to completion of visit.

This is by far the best dental office I know. I have been using their services for the last 30 years They are very professional, detail oriented, honest and very wonderful human beings. Many times I was talked out from procedures they thought were not needed!.My best interest is always first! I am lucky to have their care.

I called the office with an emergency. I was seen within 2 hrs. The staff and the doctor were friendly, supportive and caring. The doctor made me feel so comfortable in his chair. I left with my emergency resolved and feeling great. I wish I could give 6 stars instead of 5.

Dr. Anthony Mondello is wonderful! He is the best dentist I've had in years! I have recently been through a very complicated dental implant and was referred by my surgeon. Dr. Mondello is currently doing the crown and abutment restoration of the tooth. I can not be happier with Dr. Mondello's skill and manner, he has been wonderful! The staff at the Great Neck office is also terrific! Jen and the other staff I have encountered there have been super! They are knowledgeable and skilled in working with my insurance, and they are most capable, and very friendly.
