We have invested in training and technology to make diagnosis and treatment as accurate and comfortable as possible. Some of the technologies we utilize include: CEREC, Digital X-Rays, Cone Beam Imaging and more.
Dr. Jayne hails originally from the West African Coast of Nigeria, with roots in both Ghana and Nigeria. She started her studies in Chicago, Illinois then moved to Boston, Massachusetts for her DMD degree at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University, where she graduated with Honors.
Since completing her General Practice residency program in New York, she has been very active, working in multiple practice modes of dentistry, including both private group practice and community health centers.
Dr. Jayne has a passion for all things high-tech and loves to learn about new digital advances in modern dentistry. She is a voracious reader and loves to implement new advancements into her practice of dentistry. She keeps abreast with these changes through attendance in multiple continuing education programs and attending Major dental conferences such as Yankee Dental on the east coast.
Dr. Jayne is an active member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society and South Carolina Dental Association. In her spare time, Dr. Jayne loves to go on walking trails and road trips and enjoys spending time with her family. She is an active member of her home church, Word Fellowship Church, located here in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I used to go to New world dentist years ago when they first open bc I would go on Saturday. BUT her receptionist then told me bc of a wrong appt. From there computer system advise me I could come couldn't come on Saturday anymore I stop . BUT the dentist is AWESOME her work is the best. Now she has new staff I am back had great ck up on Friday made my 6 months appt. Already. She is awesome Dr. She is excellent staff is nice. Love that I am back with her.

Dr. J is quick and to the point with getting your dental needs met. Ms. Brittany that handles patient intakes is also very HELPFUL and INFORMATIVE on her stuff. She assures you that everything is going to be fine especially for someone like myself, that's fearful of dental procedures. This dental office is very patient! Kudos to them!

I was blessed to find this place!!! I was in Concord North Carolina On business when all of a sudden a tooth that I had chip previously, started to bother me. At that time it was late in the afternoon and most of the dentist offices in that area were closed or closing soon. I found this place. I explain to the front desk what was going on with my condition, and she immediately told me to hold on let her check with the doctor because they were about to close shortly. She immediately came back and said if I couldn't make it within the next 30 minutes then the doctor would see me. This was a much different answer from the 10 other offices that I had called previously. They were no longer excepting patients even though their office said that they were open and couldn't see me until later the following week. Well, no one in pain wants to hear that!!! Once I arrived. They were very welcoming and friendly. The office was very tidy and clean which makes a first time visitor , that doesn't know anything about the establishment nor the doctor, very comfortable. I made a comment to the doctor that I wish she was in the state and city that I lived in because their service was exceptional! If I lived there , this would be the place for my dental needs. Thank you Dr Kalu, you and your staff at New World Dentistry, you guys were a pain saver!!! :)

My son Tyshawn Upsher has been going here since he was 7 years old and he is 11 years old now and Dr. Jane and the rest of the staff are like family. It's always a pleasure when we visit.
